The Mystic Conquest Universe is an alternate universe governed by magic, where the first Toa were corrupted into powerful tyrants vying for control of a mythical land. In terms of organics and technology, beings here are closer to main universe Agori and Glatorian in their physiologies than Matoran and Toa.

History

On the island of Koro Nui, the six villages were once at peace, sharing the island’s beauty and resources as one glorious civilisation. Guarding the Matoran, the villagers, were six elemental heroes, the Toa, who protected their people from vicious Rahi, and Makuta demons. However, on one unfortunate day, the Toa were corrupted by the last mortal vestige of the power of Creation itself, left by the Great Beings before their ascension to the heavens, and these six heroes were transformed forever into six terrible tyrants: the Mystic Titans.

Now, the Mystic Titans rule their villages as dictators, and wage an endless war against their brothers and sisters. All the while, the villages they were once sworn to protect are caught in the crossfire.

• Voya Nui: The nether world, ruled by Makuta, the Titan Lord of Shadows. The inner gateway to Voya Nui is guarded by Rahkshi demons, and the great light-wielding demon Umbra. The dead cannot outrace Umbra.
