Murtran was a mutated deranged slave driver from Primordius Magna.
Biography[]
Originally a Ba-Matoran from Gonda Nui, Murtran was given a Toa stone by an unknown of Air Toa of Air. Upon becoming a Toa of Gravity, Murtan joined a Toa team with Narko and four other Toa. For many years Murtran fought as a hero. However, in an accident involving energized protodermis, Murtran was transformed into a hideous four-armed monster.
Horrified at what he had become, Murtran became deranged, attacking all Toa and Matoran he met, out of envy that they were still whole. Eventually, he was recruited to the Red Hand of Assassins (RHA).
Shortly before the beginning of Narcisca's rise, Makuta Kronaxx recruited three slave drivers, Nalex , Murtran and Kelphix to find him the Great Toa stone. Nalex sent his two cronies to the Arcajax Academy of Soldiers to kidnap the camp's latest recruits. The captured matoran were then forced to mine deep in the mining city of Ergastulum. However, with the aid of Toa Nalihk, the matoran revolted against their captors. Murtran and Kelphix fought back, but were killed in the brawl.
