The Kanohi Mikori is the Mask of Insect Control. Its usage is widespread, and it is classified as a Psionics power.
The Kanohi Mikori allows the user to control insect Rahi, from tiny electric bugs to the imposing Metru Mantis.
Sapience is not an issue that users of the Mikori have to overcome when controlling an insect. However, the angrier the insect is, the harder it will be to control.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Mikori was one such mask. Developed for non-Makuta acolytes within the Brotherhood of Makuta, particularly those working on islands with large insect Rahi populations.
