Merka was a Ga-Matoran fisherwoman in the Misplaced Alternate Universe. Once she moved to Meru Nui she participated in the Battle of Karda-Nui and joined the Matoran Military Force as a combat medic.

History[]
Early Life[]
Merka started her life as Ga-Matoran on Spherus Magna, where she helped create the Matoran Universe. After moving into the Great Spirit Robot she lived in Metru-Nui.
Due to Velika's tampering with the matoran species, Merka was given true sentience by the Great Being in disguise.
Life in Metru-Nui[]
Merka was a fisherman who spent her day peacefully traded her fish with other matoran. She also was studding medicine along side her friend Kotu.
Matoran Civil War[]
79,500 Years Ago, the Matoran Civil War started and Merka alongside the other Ga-Matoran tried to stay neutral but eventually they sided with the Ta-Matoran. Merka, after many years of fighting found it pointless and leaders of her side met with a Turaga of Stone named Portuk and his two Bodyguards, a Po-Matoran named Pokall and a Le-Matoran named Leth. The talks seemed to be going well until an explosion destroyed a nearby statue and it collapsed on the building they were in killing Turaga Portuk and injuring others. During this Leth pushed Merka out of the way saving her life while the statue fell. Although Leth and Merka trusted each other, the talks then got volant debating who's side destroyed the statue and the peace talks ended. Merka, after this tied to get more peace talks open but it was to no avail.

Orde's Recruitment[]
In Metru-Nui, Merka worked as a Nurse under doctor Kotu. When Toa Orde came to Metru Nui to enlist help in awakening the Great Spirit. Merka, along with Leth went with the toa and his Strike force.
Battle of Karda Nui[]
During the battle Merka healed injured fighters and even stitched Toa Tehutti's wound in his throat.
Merka and Leth retreated after the battle back to Metru Nui after the battle with all the other survivors.
Matoran Military Force[]
Upon returning to Metru-Nui Merka and Leth joined the newly formed Matoran Military Force made by Pokall. Merka was Made a combat Medic and helped in many operation while still working as a Nurse at the Ga-Metru Hospital.
Abilities and Traits[]
As a matoran Merka had a miniscule amount of control over water and like other ga-matoran she could hold her breath longer than other types of matoran. Merka was also an expert swimmer and as a great medic.
Merka was calm and collected. Her actions were usually based of of logic and reason.
