Biography[]
Meera is a young Okotan from the Water Region of the island. Meera was born into an influential trading family that held ownership of numerous general stores and trading posts primarily in the Water Region, but with some branches in the other five regions. Following the attack of Makuta's Skull Creatures and later his Shadow Hordes, countless of these stores were shut down and the family went bankrupt. Following the defeat of Makuta and his armies, the family began rebuilding their buisness only for Ekimu to declare an island-wide sharing of resources to facilitate the reconstruction for six months. While Okoto benefited from this, Meera's family and those like it suffered from the loss of their goods. However, they loyally cooperated with the reconstruction efforts and obeyed Ekimu's orders.
Meera served as one of the street vendors, operating a venue approximately fifteen miles north of the City of the Mask Makers. This was arguably the most successful of the buisness chain, although it had the most to loose under Ekimu's request. Her position was held jointly between her and a sister and a younger brother.
Abilities and Traits[]
Like all Okotans, Meera lacks elemental powers. Although Meera isn't particularly adept in combat, she is fairly intelligent. Thanks to her family's prestige, most traders in Okoto have met her, and because of her friendly, extroverted nature, these traders try to help her whenever she's in a dilemma.
For much of her life, the only life the Water villager knew was one of prosperity and excess. This changed following the attack of Makuta's armies and she, like the rest of her family, was humbled greatly. Although she was, to some extent, spoiled, Meera always respected and later cared for those around her and generously helping others during the rebuilding effort.
Meera also has problems with anxiety, although she has put some effort into getting over this.
