The Mask of Fear is an Immoral Kanohi that gives it's user the power to understand what the target's fear is and use it against them. The user can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target’s brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. The target’s perception may be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even as a monster. It can also cause others to run away from the user, enhance any feelings of fear to unbearable levels, and temporarily transform into the target's fear. It was once used by a rogue Toa of Lightning within the Toa Mangai who was killed when Nidhiki was forced to kill her to save Lhikan.
