History[]
The Mask of Convulsion was created in many numbers alongside several other Makuta masks by Artakha on the island of Daxia. Due to the mask's sheer power, it was mostly associated with the Makuta, and considered immoral by Toa.
This mask was notably worn by Makuta Salzak, who used its power to kill a member of Toa Ardak's team, Varhuka. When Salzak was eventually killed by the robot Overlord, Kuurk, Salzak's Mask of Convulsion would be taken and put on display in a section of his fortress' museum gallery.
