On Metru Nui , Marka lived and worked in Ga-Metru. During Toa Metru Nokama's search for the missing Ga-Matoran Vhisola, Marka assisted the Toa of Water in locating Vhisola on top of a building, where she had been chased to by the Dark Hunters Nidhiki and Krekka.

Before the events of the Great Cataclysm, ran from the vahki and found Agni and Oanx, when her and the other we going to Protodermis Reclamation Yard, Marka found Riaso and she told him of what was going on and as well trying to find out of how to get out of Metru-Nui. They was found by the Vahki and gotten away but Agni was captured by them. Marka and the other ran (But Riaso was going too slow) until they was captured. Marka was foerced into going to the Coliseum by Vahki under the command of Makuta Teridax (disguised as Turaga Dume) and was placed into a Matoran Sphere. She entered stasis, but was rescued by the Toa Metru and spirited away from the city.

She was awakened on the shores of Naho Bay on the island of Mata Nui , her size and power diminished by the effects of the Sphere. Despite this, she participated in the construction of Ga-Koro, supervised by Turaga Nokama, using parts of the disassembled Airships that had been used to transport the Matoran to Mata Nui. In Ga-Koro , Marka became the Chief Shipwright and managed the Shipyards.

Later Marka was with Riaso and Sanso when a Toa by the name of Nieson came and brought the them to Taran-Nui and Riaso who was not meant to come. When the two became Toas ,the Temple cuva came with Green Fire. Marka and the other see Riaso grab into the Temple and saw that he was transform into a Toa.
