History[]
Background Information[]
Nothing much is known about Lewa's history as it is never explained. It is known, however, that he seems to be decent at pranks, though he seems to be light-hearted in everything else. He's confident, though unlike Tahu, he's not conceited.
Volume One[]
As Lewa, Gali, and Tahu are in a conversation, an alarm on his watch goes off and he flies off ("Pilot"). Later, he plans a prank on Tahu, getting him to think that the dermis turtle is a type of hat rather than an actual Rahi. The prank ends up being successful, with Lewa filming it. Kopaka admits the prank was funny, though Pohatu disagrees and gives Lewa a lecture about it being wrong, causing Lewa to apologize to Tahu. Though Tahu accepts the apology, he goes on to say he was going to get revenge on Lewa if he didn't, though Lewa doesn't seem phased and starts to make jokes about Tahu to his face. ("What the Dermis Turtle?").
Afterward Lewa sets up a play and begins asking the Toa for help, though only Tahu and Onua actually show up. Because of this, Lewa gives himself the best role in the play. This causes Tahu to grow jealous, feeling it unfair, and to burn the theater down. After the theater burns down, and they get the Matoran out, Lewa complains about his play literally going up in flames. Tahu then explains that Lewa should have been more fair with his actions. Pohatu arrives and gives off a pun about the play's destruction, much to the other Toa's dismay ("Play").
Later on Lewa, along with the rest of the Toa, goes to Cafe Custom. Unlike the other Toa, Lewa is generally uninvolved with getting Pohatu to order something. When ordering, Kopaka tells the cashier to give Lewa the cherry, which makes Lewa happy ("Order").
Sometime after Lewa is given a letter asking him to meet someone at Ta-Koro, which ends up being Tahu. After a bit of discussion, Tahu accuses Lewa of having no camera during dermis turtle incident. Lewa admits he wasn't holding one, but instead had one built into his heartlight. Tahu, with his pet dermis turtle, leaves, claiming he'll be watching Lewa. However he goes the wrong way, causing Lewa to mock him ("Chat-Talk").

Trivia[]
- Lewa, along with Tahu, is one of the only characters to be recasted since the pilot, being recasted after the airing of What the Dermis Turtle? due to iBIONICLE's unreliability. Toddy Harold then took on the role of Lewa starting with Play.
- Lewa has the least appearances out of the Toa, appearing in only five episodes.
