Lesovikk is a guilt-ridden Toa of Air and former leader of the First Toa Team. After leading a team of Toa to capture Karzahni, Lesovikk made peace with his actions and sacrificed his Toa Power to create a new generation of Toa, becoming a Turaga in the process. He now currently serves as the elder of his original homeland.
History[]
Lesovikk was created by the Great Beings as a Le-Matoran, aiding in the construction of the Matoran Universe. Once construction was completed, Lesovikk was placed on the island of Kangaro, where he lived among other Matoran.
In the early years of the Matoran Universe, Lesovikk received a Toa Stone and was transformed into a Toa of Air. Banding together with seven other newly-made Toa, Lesovikk became leader of the very first Toa Team, defending the island of Kangaro from such threats as invading Rahi. During this time, Lesovikk became particularly close to his deputy Nikila.[1]
During one of their travels, Lesovikk and his team came into conflict with a band of Zyglak. A moment of hesitation on Lesovikk's part resulted in his entire team being killed by the Zyglak. Lesovikk managed to survive and escaped back to Kangaro, only to find that the Turaga had gone mad and sent the entire population to the realm of Karzahni. Distraught over his failings, Lesovikk swore off the Toa Code and became a wanderer.[1]
Lesovikk made several attempts to get into Karzahni's realm, only to be driven off by the tyrant's Manas crabs. When the Toa of Air finally did manage to get past the Rahi, he found out that Karzahni had already sent the Matoran away to the Southern Continent. Over the course of his hiatus, he would meet Toa Jovan[2], fight the Rahi Nui, and free one of the Southern Islands from Visorak.[3]
Several months after the Great Cataclysm, when the Order of Mata Nui began assembling a team of Toa to capture Karzahni, they sought out Lesovikk to lead the team. Under the pseudonym "Amath", the Order lured Lesovikk to the Northern Continent with the promise of helping him find Karzahni. Taking him to Daxia, the Order named him leader of the Toa Tenebrae, dismissing his reservations over leading another team of Toa.[4]
Setting out for Karzahni, the Toa Tenebrae made a stop at Stelt, where Lesovikk's old friend Forron agreed to let them stay at his inn for the night. However, Forron sold them out to the Dark Hunters and Lesovikk's team was captured and taken to Odina. Along the way, the Dark Hunters revealed to Lesovikk that they had in fact only been after his teammate Arctur and that the rest of the Toa were just bonuses. After being pitted against other Dark Hunters at their headquarters, the Toa Tenebrae was whisked away by Shikaiju, who brought them to the hidden island of Okoto.[4]
There, Shikaiju and the Dark Hunter Shadow Stealer that Okoto was hidden by a gate that could only be opened by three Toa of Psionics, with the Toa Tenebrae Orde being one of them. After some deliberation, the Toa decided to proceed with opening the gate and entering the island of Okoto, where they encountered the native Matoran. Before they could learn more about the island, the Toa Tenebrae were retrieved by Botar and sent back on their mission to Karzahni.[5]
As the team drew nearer to Karzahni, Lesovikk became determined to end Karzahni's reign once and for all and asked Arctur to use his Gravity powers to crush Karzahni when the time came. Upon arriving at Karzahni's realm, Lesovikk went after Karzahni himself while the other Toa worked on freeing the Matoran. After an intense battle, Lesovikk realized that his friends were no longer in Karzahni's realm and were even possibly dead. Shaken by this, he was swiftly defeated by Karzahni. Before the mad tyrant could finish him off, the other Toa came to Lesovikk's rescue and Karzahni was placed into a comatose state by Orde.[6]
