Legends of the Past is the chronologically first collection of stories taking place within the Jinok Alternate Universe. It is succeeded by Dark Portal with Pathway of Destiny being the finale.

Writing for this story began in 2009 and was completed in the following year, 2010.

Plot

Legends of the Past tells the story of a mysterious, floating island, called Alpha-7. As the brave Toa Virkon travel there to uncover its secrets, a terrible battle breaks out at their home - while simultaneously the final preparations are made to awake the Great Spirit Mata Nui.
The destiny of the island in the sky is approaching - and a battle between life and death.
