Kyrix was a Ta-Matoran who was later transformed into a Toa
History[]
Early Life[]
Similarly to most other Ta-Matoran, Kyrix began his life on Spherus Magna. For a number of years, he aided in the early construction of the Matoran Universe with no worldly desires or true consciousness.
After a considerable period of heavy labor, he was placed on the island of Davhi Nui in a small village alongside a number of other Matoran. He endeavored to carry out his purpose by maintaining his settlement to ensure the continued functionality of the Great Spirit. Shortly after the successful launch of the Matoran Universe, Kyrix gained true sentience due to Velika's tampering with the Matoran species. Although he continued his original task, Kyrix was imbued with emotions and became self-aware.
Life as a Toa[]
Many years later, Turaga Twowa desired to have six new Toa to be created, whose purpose would be to watch over Nyla Nui. As a result, Twowa chose Kyrix and five other Matoran of different elements, who were named Brovahk, Jaxu, Qiniu, Maalek, and Pavki.

As a Toa of Fire, Kyrix had near-perfect command over heat and flame. As such, at a basic level, he could create, control, and absorb open fire and/or heat. Examples of this include creating fireballs, generating a rain of fire, absorbing the heat in an area, putting out fires, and making volcanoes active.
Powers and Equipment[]
As a Ta-Matoran, Kyrix had innate fire powers, which manifested as a limited resistance to heat. As a Toa, He gained full control over and access to his Elemental powers.
Kyrix wears the Kanohi Huna. It gives him the ability to turn invisible, although he still casts a shadow
Kyrix primarily wields two Magma swords as his main weapon. He also carries several small fire knives as backups
