Kwulaguo is the Overseer of the Breath of Mata Nui, and former spy.
Biography[]
Kwulaguo was created by the Great Spirit Mata Nui with the rest of the Huwnaui, sometime after the Great Spirit took flight. Like many of his kind, Kwulaguo was a skilled weaponsmith, but found himself equally well-suited as a spy. After spending many years in the employ of a Wairakka warlord, Kwulaguo travelled north, towards Matoran civilisation, and began renting his services there instead.
It was not long after the Matoran Civil War broke out that Kwulaguo found himself spying for the Brotherhood of Makuta. For most of the war, Kwulaguo had few qualms about his work - and was being paid extremely well for his efforts - but when he discovered just how brutal the Makuta were being to Matoran found using his information, Kwulaguo began extricating himself from the war, horrified at the consequences of his actions.
Breath of Mata Nui[]
After the Matoran Civil War had ended, Kwulaguo began seeking out ways he could atone for his crimes and the bloodshed he had helped perpetuate. In his travels across the Northern Continent, he soon met Whekto, a Toa of Plantlife who was similarly looking for a new purpose. The two of them began talking, and soon decided on creating the Breath of Mata Nui, to heal the universe's wounded with life force collected from the plants Whekto could control. They bought land on the Southern Continent, where they perceived a greater need for their services, and began establishing their facilities and hiring new staff.
Return to Spherus Magna[]
Following the restoration of the planet Spherus Magna, Kwulaguo and the rest of the the Breath of Mata Nui were forced to abandon their forests and relocate to the new world. There, they began to establish a new estate to heal those wounded in the Battle of Bara Magna.
Abilities and Traits[]
Like all Huwnaui, Kwulaguo has the ability to fly. He is also tied to the element of Stone, and has a low-level power to part stone to allow him to walk through. This helped him to be an effective spy; if he was ever spotted during a job in a rural environment, he could disappear into the landscape.
Paraphernalia[]
Kwulaguo carries the Spear of Serenity, an ancient tool created by a fellow Huwnaui in the early days of the universe, designed to release waves of calming psionic energy. He possesses several Kanohi masks, usually seen wearing the Kanohi Devai, the Mask of Incarnation, which he employs to help him control the Breath of Mata Nui's natural environment. He also owns a Kanohi Amana, the Mask of Healing.
