Kuat are a species native to Ryta Magna, created by the Makuta of Ryta as warriors in her conquest of the planet.

History[]
Created by the Makuta of Ryta, the Kuat were merciless invaders from their species' birth. Though the Makuta did not need an army, she decided to make her conquest of the planet more entertaining for herself, testing newly-devised viruses in doing so.
They were unleashed to try to take hold of Ryta Magna by force, in the name of the Makuta.
After being defeated on Ryta Magna, the Kuat fled to the stars. Many joined the Disciples of Vradok, whilst the majority clumped on small worlds like Rimus Magna.

Abilities and Traits[]
Each Kuat is an elemental, and so can access a small amount of elemental power. Their elements are plasma, acid, lightning, iron, vacuum, sonics and gravity. Kuat also have a tactile power - normally shattering or tacto-hypnosis - and an additional ability, the most common being density control.
Kuat were also known to be capable of wearing Kanohi masks. Though Kanohi were not native to the cultures of Ryta Magna, the Makuta of Ryta went to a great deal of effort to ensure that Kuat would possess this faculty.
Kuat are deeply antisocial and inhospitable by nature, and the natives of Ryta Magna were regularly able to escape Kuat sentries by using their aggression against them, causing in-fights and brawls. While Kuat display reverence and total respect for their creator, they cannot respect any other, lesser authority, and Kuat war-captains do not last long.
