The Kanohi Krykau is the Mask of Invulnerability. It is a very rare mask, and it is classified as an Enhancement power.
Nicknamed the Titan’s Miracle when whispered about in forges across the Matoran Universe, is a very rare mask that makes the wearer impervious to physical harm.
The mask’s rarity comes in part from this immense skill required to forge it, and from the expensive and hard-to-find materials needed to craft it. Only one, perhaps two, are in existence.
History[]
The Kanohi Krykau traces its origins back to some of the earliest mask-making techniques adopted on Spherus Magna, where an unclear number of Krykau masks were created for the Matoran populace. However, due to the difficulty in creating the mask, only a handful must have been made, for they soon adopting a mythical status within the cultural consciousness.
Brotherhood of Toa Universe[]
The Brotherhood of Toa only has one copy of this mask, which it gifted to a frail and otherwise defenseless Turaga Dume.
Toa Empire Universe[]
Tuyet has a Toa dedicated solely to trying to find every Kanohi Krykau for the Empire. They have thus far only been successful in attaining one such mask.
