Krulex is an Ectosian bounty hunter from Dreadza.
Biography[]
Like all Ectosians, Krulex was accidentally created by the Great Beings during their experiment to create creatures known as Krana. Rejected by their creators, Krulex and the other Ectosians fled into the unfinished Matoran Universe, setteling on the isle of Dreadza. As time went by, they developed reputations as wicked creatures that brought misfortune.
At a latter point, Krulex left Dreadza to follow a carrier as a freelance bounty hunter, leading his skills as a mercenary to the highest bidders, with known employers including (but not limited to) the Xevthian Empire, the League of Six Kingdoms, the Brotherhood of Makuta and the Dark Brotherhood. In addition, Krulex has had numerous encounters with both Toa; namely Barionk and Hydros, and rival bounty hunters; such as Skorr and Raduke. He has also clashed with rival Dark Hunters as well.
During the Order of Mata Nui's war against the Makuta, Krulex was hired by both the Order and the Dark Brotherhood to assasinate a number of the Brotherhood of Makuta's key lieutenants, the Saursapien clone Ohtvek being among them.
His current location since Teridax's domination of the Matoran Universe is unknown.
Abilities and Traits[]
Though somewhat resentful toward Matoran and the other races native to their world, Krulex's desire for affluence mostly outways his contempt; his love for material possessions and riches guides most of his behavior, which has resulted in him actually embrassing Matorankind as a valuable source of income.
Like others of his race, Krulex possesses ghost-like abilities that the superstitious see as unnatural: he can alter his body's density, allowing him to pass through solid objects, and his telekinesis allows him to levitate and fly to a limited extent. He is also a telepath, and can become invisible.
Set into Krulex's chest is a crystalline organ that supplies his body with the energy it requires, granting him independance from air, water, food and sleep; resources most other beings require to survive. This organ also allows Krulex to channel this energy in the form of plasma, allowing him to fire it at opponents, though doing so repeatedly weakens him.
He is also highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and often uses his numerous limbes to overwhelm opponents.

Krulex's main weapon in battle is his Ectosian Battle Gauntlet. A weapon created on his home island of Dreadza, the Battle Gauntlet is a mechanical device worn over the arm, allowing Krulex even greater strength. It is equipped with long protosteel talons that either deliver a potent electrical shock, or secrete a burning acid. It also sports a spiked arm shield for defense.
Like others of his kind, Krulex possesses claws that radiate energy, as well as muscular, prehensile tail equipped with venomous barbs. He also has bladed, insect-like legs.
