Kranu is a Ta-Matoran chronicler who fought with the Toa Malia during Abaddon's attempted takeover.

Biography

Life Before the War

1000 years before the Great Cataclysm War, Kranu was created by Mata Nui as a Ta-Matoran. He did maintenance on the Great Spirit Robot. As a Ta-Matoran he used his limited elemental powers to maintain the air temperature within the Great Spirit Robot.

Kranu fought with the Toa Malia when Abaddon attacked with his four armies. He followed Ardia into combat against the Rahkshi, present when she sacrificed herself for victory.

He was friends with Marthu, frequently viewing Kohlii matches with him. He was present at the Kolhii match that was interrupted by the Brotherhood of Makuta when they betrayed Mata Nui. Kranu was rescued by Pozar when the Makuta attacked the Matoran.

Kranu supported the Toa Neirae when they fought against the Brotherhood of Makuta, angered when they were defeated. He was enslaved by the Brotherhood of Makuta, continuing his work to maintain the air temperature of the Great Spirit Robot.

Great Cataclysm War

During the Great Cataclysm War, Kranu fought with the Order of Mata Nui. He was relieved that they defeated the Brotherhood of Makuta, moving to Zivot after the war.

Life as a chronicler

After settling into Kehidupan, Kranu took an interest in becoming a chronicler, writing down stories he hears from the Order of Mata Nui and other Toa. He continued telling stories to other Matoran after Abaddon took over the Great Spirit Robot in the Lost Continents.

Personality and traits

Kranu was very self-centred, thinking of his own needs first and placing his views above others. He envied Toa, in particular the Toa Neirae. Kranu was jealous of their respect, initially not believing that it was earnt. He gained respect for Pozar during the Brotherhood of Makuta's attack.

After the Great Cataclysm War, Kranu grew fascinated in the Order of Mata Nui and their adventures. He chose to be a chronicler, recording their stories.

Although he is good friends with Marthu, Kranu still lives in his own world. He daydreams about becoming a Toa, fighting off threats and being revered for his accomplishments.

Powers and equipment

As a Ta-Matoran, Kranu has a resistance to heat and weak control over temperatures. He used this power with other Ta-Matoran to maintain the air temperature in the Great Spirit Robot.

Kranu carried a disk launcher during his time in the Toa Malia. It had a spike on it he used after firing a disk.
