History[]
The group was founded around thirteen hundred years ago in the aftermath of the Toa Hagah rebellion. Still in needed of servants to protect him while he conducted his experiments, Fahaki turned to a number of avenues for employing new ones. Once enough beings were recruited, he found it to be lacking a name. One of his brothers suggested "Kragah", a combination of the Matoran prefix for "Shadow" and the word for "Guardian". Taking a liking to the name, the founder christened his servants with the title, as a way to mock the recent Toa Hagah rebels and their beliefs.

Trivia[]
- The name of the group was suggested by CaptainLandr0ver.
- While they are not technically a Toa Hagah team, they still follow Ahpolki Inika's motif of using Dark Souls magicks as a source of inspiration for their gear and powers. In this case, they draw from the second game's Hex collection (and the Dark damage types seen throughout the series).
- The Toa Hordika of Ice draws influence from Vordt, a boss from the third game.
