Kopaka is a Toa of Ice from Ko-Koro. He, unlike the other Toa, secludes himself from society and primarily sits alone and meditates in his room.

Background Information[]
Nothing is known about Kopaka's history as it is never hinted at or explained. He is a pessimist, realist, and heavy thinker. He's also very anti-social, and prefers to live his life alone in eternal solitude.
Volume One[]
Kopaka and Pohatu approach Tahu after they see him alone due to Gali and Lewa leaving. They end up scaring him, though Pohatu denies that was his intentions, Kopaka states that he himself was personally trying to ("Pilot"). Later on, Pohatu is sitting at a table when Kopaka approaches him. However, Kopaka quickly regrets it as Pohatu tries to talk him into hanging out, though Kopaka shuts Pohatu out and tells him farewell. However, Pohatu tells him that if he could come up with one pun, he can leave. Kopaka agrees and attempts it three times, with the first two being ridiculed by Pohatu. After making a third one, Kopaka ends up leaving and throwing his shield at Pohatu ("Puns").
Sometime after, Gali sets up a rally for dermis turtle awareness. Kopaka isn't very involved and mostly just stands in silence during it. After Tahu embarrasses himself in front of the attendees, Kopaka tells Lewa that he found it funny, and asks if he filmed it. Lewa states he did and it's another addition to his list of pranks ("What the Dermis Turtle?").
Afterward, Kopaka begins meditating in his room once more. However, Gali interrupts him by asking him to take her out to eat. Kopaka, while reluctant at first, gives in due to Gali stating that she'll get Pohatu to force him. At the diner, Gali begins telling him about her day, though he makes no reaction to it. She then goes onto say that it's not so bad, to which Kopaka agrees. Though, Pohatu later shows up, much to Kopaka's dismay ("Conversation"). After, he goes and continues his meditation sessions in his room, but is interrupted once more by Tahu, who asks for Kopaka's meaning of life. He explains his meaning to it, causing Tahu to leave, and leaving Kopaka to think ("Life").
Later on, Gali treats the Toa to eat at Cafe Custom. Kopaka seems the most concerned about Pohatu ordering, primarily due to the fact that he doesn't want his protodermis smoothie to melt and begins to threaten Pohatu before being stopped by Onua, who explains that they get the idea ("Order"). Sometime later, after overhearing Tahu and Gali look for it, Kopaka found Gali's Kanohi Akaku that Tahu lost. After Tahu asks Gali to find his Kanohi Pakari that she borrowed, she tries using her Akaku with no success, causing Kopaka to leave to find it ("Akaku").
