Kongu is a Toa of Air in the [[Misplaced Alternate Universe]]. After becoming a toa he joined the [[Toa Metru (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Toa Metru]].

== Biography ==

=== Early Life ===
Kongu started his life as a Le-Matoran on Spherus Magna, where he helped build the Matoran Universe. After moving into the great spirit robot he lived in Metru Nui.

Due to Velika's tampering with the matoran species, Kongu was given true sentience by the Great Being in disguise.

=== Life in Metru-Nui ===
On Metru Nui Kongu worked as a Chute monitor at near the end of Le-Metru.

Nearly 2500 years before the Great Cataclysm Kongu ran into a deed Le-Matoran body and reported it. It was later discovered that Toa Tuyet was the Murder of matoran Kongu had found on his way to work. This moment scarred and slightly changed Kongu for the rest of his life.

When the Great Cataclysm happened and Toa Ahkmou attached Nuparu and disabled all the vahki, Kongu's chute station was destroyed. A Po-matoran [[Pokall (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Pokall]] who helped him repair it. During this time Kongu told Pokall about his encounter with the dead le-matoran he found thousands of years ago and felt like he had a higher calling. Pokall remembered this as the two parted ways after the repairs were completed. 

=== Formation of The Matoran Military Force ===
When all the toa, besides [[Takanuva (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Takanuva]], left with Toa [[Orde (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Orde]] to Karda-Nui, Pokall worried that one toa was not enough to protect an entire city and that the Vahki would never return to the numbers they once possessed. So with the permission of Turaga [[Lhikan (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Lhikan]], Pokall created the Matoran Military Force to defend Metru-Nui when the Toa and remaining Vahki could not. Many matoran joined the newly formed organization such as [[Dephal (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Dephal]], Kongu, and many more. Pokall remembered what Kongu had told him years before and invited his as one of the forces first members. The force, however, had to report to the [[Turaga Council (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Turaga Council]] for missions and for briefing.

One day on patrol with [[Leth (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Leth]], a shot from a sniper was heard. as the two Matoran looked up at the building to see Toa Kotah, with blood coming from him, fall off it into the water. The two matoran called in reinforcements as the chased the assailant to see the once toa now assassin Zepharious flee from the scene. The two gave chase but they were no match for the speed of the Former Toa of Sonics. After loosing the assassin the two went to the water where Kotah landed but fond no blood or body the two assumed he sunk to the bottom while they were giving chase but they were unsure.

=== Attack at the Coliseum ===

Kongu was on patrol at the coliseum when Makuta Daraxian attacked and helped the [[Toa Metru (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Toa Metru]] defend the coliseum. Kongu was able to take down two Rahkshi with his firearm but was shaken at the death of Toa [[Ehrye (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Ehrye]] but kept fighting. Eventually, Makuta Daraxian was about to kill the the Toa of Air Iruini  when the mercenary known as [[Zepharious (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Zepharious]] arrived he shot at the hulking Makua. Distracted by the new arrival Toa Iruini pierced the Makuta in the chest, which gave enough time for Toa [[Tehutti (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Tehutti]] to decapitate the Makuta. Toa [[Nuhrii (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Nuhrii]] then used his fire to destroy the Makuta's antidermis. Zepharious then surrendered himself to the Toa to pay for his crimes. although the rest of the Matoran Military Force were afraid the assassin was pulling a trick but Kongu fearlessly stepped up and arrested the oversized Merc.

Due to the fight, Iruini was badly Injured and decided to give out four toa stones to a Fe-Matoran [[Pez (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Pez]], a Vo-matoran [[Rahni (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Rahni]], a Su-Matoran [[Clancer (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Clancer]] and Kongu himself. The four matoran were summoned to the great temple and became the newest member of the Toa Metru. Iruini was Transformed into a turaga and joined the Turaga Council.

=== Zepharious' Trial ===
Due to the fact Iruini would have been killed by Makuta Daraxian without Zeparious' intervention. Zepharious explained that when his island Jemani-Nui was destroyed and saw no survivors he went down a dark path and became a mercenary to get rid of all the Makuta and troublesome beings in the Matoran Universe. But when he saw that Rahni and Clancer, two matoran from his original village were still alive all of the horrible things he did flooded him at once and that's when he decided to turn himself in. Then the coliseum was attacked by a Makuta and he had to break out of his cuffs and help defeat the Makuta. After that he returned himself to authorities.

Zeparious said he wanted to make amends for his past mistakes and help train the new batch of toa. Although Turaga Lhikan was skeptical due to Zepharious assassinating a Toa Mangai Kotah the council agreed to add him to the Toa Metru but he must follow Toa code.

Kongu was unhappy with this situation but trusted the council knew what they were doing.

=== Change in Leadership ===
Due to Toa Ehrye losing his life, Toa [[Vhisola (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Vhisola]] being in a coma, believing Toa [[Orkahm (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Orkahm]] to be dead, and Ahkmou betraying his former teammates, Toa Nuhrii fell into a depression. He resigned as leader of the Toa Metru and Pouks took over. Toa Jaller was made deputy of the team after the change in leadership.

Due to their efforts in defeating Makuta Daraxian Toa Nuhrii, Toa Tehutti were promoted to Elite Clad Toa Armor

=== Arrival of The Toa Mata ===
Shortly after the change in leadership six Toa arrived on the border of Ga-Metru. The toa were [[Tahu (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Tahu]], [[Gali (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Gali]], [[Lewa (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Lewa]], [[Pohatu (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Pohatu]], [[Onua (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Onua]], and [[Kopaka (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Kopaka]]. The new toa had no memory of their past and were enlisted into the ever growing Toa Metru team. They were trained by the Veteran members of the the Toa Metru alongside Rahni, Clancer, Pez, and Kongu.

Around the time the Toa Mata came to the island a toa of light named [[Tollubo (Misplaced Alternate Universe)|Tollubo]] joined the Toa Metru as well and helped train the new Toa Metru.

Nuhrii, around this time, spent most of his time in bars drinking and at the hospital visiting Vhisola.

== Abilities and Traits ==
As a Le-Matoran Kongu possessed a miniscule amount of control over the element air. After becoming a Toa of Air Kongu could control, absorb, and create air. He could control air pressure, create twisters, and summon storms.

In dangerous times Kongu was serious but when it didn't call for it he was fun-loving and made jokes. although Kongu was more serious that fun-loving due to his life experiences. Kongu was also a strong believer in the toa code.
