Komatri was a Turaga of Karhi Nui and former Toa of Ice from the Toa Cartrax.
History[]
Early Life[]
Komatri's early life is shrouded in mystery, as none of it has been recorded by an actual chronicler, and he scarcely tells of his days before he was a Toa. It's speculated he was a Ko-Matoran chronicler who focused on recording legends. Whatever he used to be, he eventually became a Toa of Ice and was assigned by Makuta Furtaan to team up with three other Toa, named Tolunga, Nupui, and Letagh as a Toa Hagah team.
The most notable thing about Komatri was his obsession with the Kanohi Karhi and the myths surrounding it. It was him who decided that Tolunga and the other Toa would protect the island of Cartrax, dubbing it "The Great Destiny" for a new name for the island. There the Toa protected the Matoran against various threats, primarily from the Barraki invasion.
Eventually Komatri would give his powers up to Nuhi, who would go onto being one of the Toa Karhi. The passing of powers signified a new beginning for the island. Once Komatri became a Turaga, he got into contact with the Po-Matoran Chronicler, Fa. He assigned Fa to search for the legends of Karhi, which led to the Matoran to travelling to Xia.
Abilities and traits[]
Komatri is a former Toa of Ice and now a Turaga of Ice. In his Toa form, he could control ice to a greater extent than in is Turaga form. His great mask is also now weakened into a noble mask, giving him limited shielding power. However, Komatri manages to use his powers wisely and thoughtfully.
Komatri is wise and happen to be rather fond of Matoran and history. Knowing more about the island of Karhi Nui than the other Turaga, Komatri may hold many secrets about the universe itself.

Trivia[]
- Komatri's obsession with the legends of Karhi Nui were a leftover aspect of a planned storyline before Insurgence that was never made. It involved him being a bearer of the Kanohi Karhi itself.
