Koden is a Toa of Sand, assigned to protecting the denizens of Spherus Magna. In reality, he is a member of The Rebellion.
Biography[]
Koden was created as a Toa of Sand after Spherus Magna's reformation. He fought as a Paladin in the Shadow War. During the war, he accompanied Jareroden and a squad of Paladin warriors to an attack on Shadowmaster's forces. However, during the journey to the inner city at which Shadowmaster resided, a band of mysterious warriors attacked them, defeated them, and imprisoned them in Shadowmaster's Roxtus base. Koden was held above a pot of mutagen water, ready to be killed, but was freed by the combined efforts of Mersery and Shardak, and Shadowmaster was held off.
The Paladin squad began to gather resources to destroy the Roxtus base after their freedom and Shadowmaster's temporary defeat. Koden accompanied Jareroden himself to locate the Todari vine, a vine which could cause explosive reactions if united with a Thornax. While on the search, Benjarmin confronted Jareroden, and the two clashed, while Koden aided in fighting Benjarmin. Benjarmin was defeated, and the vine collected. The Paladins fled, launching a Thornax at the vine, causing a reaction which spread to a pile of Thornax and ultimately destroyed the Roxtus base.
Koden and the others returned to the Paladin fortress, only to find it destroyed. They plotted, with the other rebels, to flee north in order to establish there. The other events of the war are not yet clear, but they resulted in victory for the rebels.
Later, Koden served in the Makuta War against Teridax. Assigned in Vahkna's squad, he always had a suspicion of his squadmate, and did not believe he killed Teridax after the climax and end of the awr. After realizing the brutal ways of the enforcers, he joined the Rebellion.
Recently, he gave Toa stones to Karza, Davu, and Motara (SM).

Koden is honorable, strong, and truthful. He hates cruelty in every way, and has been known to actually stop Enforcers before.
