Kivoda is the Protector of Water, and leader of the Region of Water. Within the Timeless Heroes alternate universe, Kivoda found Gali’s Mask of Water and subsequently inherited her powers.
History[]
Early Life[]
Kivoda was born to the previous Protector of Water and unknown woman. Along with the other children of the other Protectors, Kivoda was raised and trained from a young age to one day replace his father.
Eventually, he inherited the role of Protector and leader of the Region of Water when his father passed away from unknown circumstances.
Prophecy of Heroes[]
With the increasing threat of the Skull Spiders, Kivoda and the other Protectors convened at the Temple of Time to recite the Prophecy of Heroes, hoping to summon the legendary Toa so they may aid them. After the recitation, comets from the celesial bodies in Okoto's skies descended on the island. Narmoto was drawn to a volcano in the Region of Fire, where one of the comets landed.
The Protectors did their best to hold off a Skull Spider ambush as their leader investigated the crashsite, only to one by one become subdued by the creatures. They were quickly rescued by a newly empowered Narmoto, who was wearing Toa Tahu's Golden Mask. After Narmoto received a fragmented message from Ekimu, the Protectors deduced that the other comets were the other Toa's masks and split off to search for them. Kivoda managed to retrieve Gali's Golden Mask in waters just off the shores of Okoto and put it on.
Hearing Ekimu's complete message, Kivoda regrouped with the other Protectors at the City of the Mask Makers, where Ekimu's spirit urged them to find him. At the entrance, the Protectors used their new masks and powers to defeat the Lord of the Skull Spiders before entering the City.

Abilities and traits[]
Arguably the "little brother" of the Protectors, Kivoda is largely timid but determined in his duties as a Protector. He has a major habit of questioning things unnecessarily but most of it is owed to his desire to be caught up on details.
Trained to be a Protector since his childhood, Kivoda has exceptional skills in manipulating elemental Water. Upon wearing Gali's mask, his power over Okoto's Water increased tenfold.
Mask and Tools[]
Kivoda originally wore the Protector Mask of Water, which granted him power over Okoto's Water. He later found and equipped Gali's Golden Mask, which substantially increased his powers.
Rather unconventionally, Kivoda forgoes Elemental Blasters and instead relies only on two Turbines attached to his shoulders that allowed him to travel through waters quickly.
