Kirif is a Toa of Lightning who was once part of the Toa Ido. She is now believed to be the only living member of her team.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Similarly to most other Matoran, Kirif began her life on Spherus Magna, where she assisted in the construction of the Matoran Universe. Upon its completion she was placed on Ido Nui.
At an unknown point in time Kirif was given a Toa Stone by an adventurous Toa of Sonics, transforming her into a Toa of Lightning.
Battle with Makuta Ferrinox[]
Whilst on a small northern island, Kirif encountered Ferrinox, a Makuta, who was stealing a lava gem. The gem seemed to be connected to the flora of the island, as when Ferrinox took it from its shrine, the plants started to die.
Ferrinox was leaving when Kirif decided to block his way and take back the gem. The two battled over the gem, with each doing serious damage to the other. Kirif eventually emerged victorious. She forced Ferrinox to give up the gem, but allowed him to flee.
Abilities, Tools, and Traits[]
Abilities and Powers[]
As a Vo-Matoran Kirif was unable to fully access her dormant Lightning powers. She was, however, resistant to electric shocks.
Upon becoming a Toa of Lightning, Kirif has gained the ability to create, control, and absorb lightning. She is also able to unleash a Lightning Nova Blast, though she has never tried to do so.
Tools and Equipment[]
Kirif wears the Kanohi Pakari, the Great Mask of Strength, which greatly increases her strength. Her weapon of choice is an Electric Lance, which can be used as a melee weapon or for channeling her elemental powers.
Traits and Personality[]
Kirif is naturally serious, and does not take her duty as a Toa lightly. However, she does know how to be more light-hearted.
