The Kanohi Keelahu is the Mask of Mutation. It is a rare mask, and it is classified as a Molecular power.
The Kanohi Keelahu allows the user to force a mutative transformation on other living beings. The mutations can be effected from a distance, and are permanent unless directly restored by the Keelahu user themselves. The Keelahu is also able to do undo mutations caused by others, such as removing Hordika venom, or reversing the effects of a mutation rhotuka.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Keelahu was one such mask.
