Kanae was the Toa Mangai of the Green.
Biography[]
Kanae was created as an Bo-Matoran and eventually became a Toa of the Green.
He was among the eleven Toa who gathered and formed a Toa team to defend Metru Nui from the Kanohi Dragon, and remained to protect the city from further dangers.
Prior to the Great Cataclysm, he and other members of his team were sent by Makuta Teridax, posing as Turaga Dume, on various missions to other islands. However, his mission was a ruse, and Kanae was killed by Eliminator. Eliminator's lightning-like energy blasts fried his artificial intelligence, preventing his mind from being revived on the Red Star.

Marn wore the Kanohi Amana, the Great Mask of Healing. This mask allowed him to heal those around him, but not himself. Due to this, and his knowledge wounds and illnesses, he was the medic of the Toa Mangai.
