The Kanohi Kahua is the Mask of Evolution. Its usage is widespread, and it is classified as an Enhancement power.
The Kanohi Kahua allows the user to temporarily upgrade a tool, ability or part of their body for greater power. It is extremely draining to the user after the effects wear off, and generally users are advised not to ‘evolve’ more than three times a day, at absolute most.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Kahua was one such mask.
