History[]

The jungle goat was first sighted during during a search for materials as the construction of Felrickar began. The rahi's friendly nature was evident upon its sighting and lead to the animals' use in the transport of materials. As the development of Chroros Nuian society continued the use of jungle goats extended to their fur being used for many different purposes.

The jungle goat soon became so domesticated that very few of them exist in the wild. Their use as working animals and the use of their fur decreased as technology developed and other, more efficient alternatives were developed. Despite the technological developments, however, many jungle goats are still traditionally used for transport and fur especially in dense jungle environments which are difficult for larger vehicles to traverse.

Physiology[]

The jungle goat is a fairly large rahi, with most fully grown individuals being slightly larger than the average matoran. Jungle goats have a thick fur coat that was often used by farmers. They have two small horns on their head which they use to defend themselves when threatened.

Powers and abilities[]

Jungle goats do not possess any outstanding powers, however, they have numerous abilities that were developed whilst adapting to their natural environment. They are surprisingly agile, being able to leap great distances. The animals also have a high level of endurance because they are capable of carrying heavy loads for extended periods of time. The goat's green fur allows it to blend in with its environment.

Behaviour[]

The jungle goats are known for their friendly nature. This behaviour is most notable as a result of their widespread domestication. Their demeanour is often unaffected by the presence of other animals with the exception of their main predators, muaka, to which they often respond by grouping together and overwhelming the rahi with numbers. Typically, however, the jungle goat maintains its peaceful nature.

Trivia[]
