Jinok Alternate Universe

The Jinok Alternate Universe was created by Vorred in 2009. The alternate universe encompassed three collections of stories, which in chronological order start with Legends of the Past, are followed by Dark Portal and are concluded with Pathway of Destiny. The stories were orignall posted on the Toa-of-Wiki Fanfiction and have since been translated to English.

The Alternation

For most of its history, the events of the Jinok Alternate Universe mirror those found in the Core Universe. It is said that this universe itself was created as an "improved" version of it, though the true meaning behind this is unknown.
The first event to greatly alternate the history was the outcome of Nidhiki's betrayal - instead of banishing him, Toa Lhikan forgave him and accepted him back into the ranks of the Toa Mangai. This sparked a chain of reactions, most notabily leading to none of the Mangai to perish when sent our by the false Turaga Dume.

Story

The stories of the Jinok Alternate Universe dominantly feature characters outside of established lore, as well as new islands unseen in the Core Universe. The main setting is the island of Virkon Nui, where the universe's most defining battles took place.

Trivia

• The third story collection, Pathway of Destiny, was written many years after the other stories, in 2018. It was based on original scripts, pictures, videos, and, alongside a more simplistic writing style, serves as a as-close-as-possible restoration of what the final installment would've been.
