- "It was once said that three had the potential to become one, to overcome ones' differences and unite. These beasts, however, did not understand that. All they knew was strife and destruction. and so our ancestors were forced to flee."
- ―An old record describing the chaos of the three beasts' battles.
The Isle of Storms is a small landmass just off the shore of Okoto's Region of Ice.
History[]
Ancient records claim that the Isle of Storms was once a place of worship (though towards whom or what is currently unknown). At some point in time, a Mask Maker managed to build a massive tower that would draw in its lightning strikes. Through this, he was able to harness the storms' electrical power to forge a Golden Mask of Lightning.
However, the Isles soon feel under siege when three great beasts appeared on the island. They engaged in a free-for-all battle, changing the landscape of the island. The fight sent the villagers fleeing to the mainland, leaving the Golden Mask behind within its temple. An eternal storm appeared once everyone left, cutting the island off from Okoto. Those that attempted to ferry their way through often met their demise. At least one Airship was also lost to the storms. Eventually, the majority of the Okotan population gave up on trying to reclaim it.
Recently two parties have arrived onto the Isle. The first was The Larceny, manned by captain Oaryus. The second was a Toa of Lightning by the name of Ahpolki. Both parties are now competing for the Mask of Lightning.
Geography[]
Legends once said that it was a winter wonderland, with a city of Ice at its heart. However, the fight between the three monsters altered the landscape. Some areas now had rivers of magma, others patches of ashes in place of snow.
