The Kanohi Ishaku is the Mask of Farsight. Its usage is widespread, and it is classified as a Sensory power.
Passively, the Kanohi Ishaku grants the user long-distance vision. When activated, users can project their sense of sight onto a separate, arbitrary point, rendering their own eyes blind until deactivation.
The mask proves useful in scouting or spying tasks as long as the user can effectively position and hide the faintly glowing orb of light that the mask makes while they project their vision.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Ishaku was one such mask.
Magellan Universe[]
Experiment were conducted onboard the Kapura Nui colony ship to enhance the power of a Kanohi Ishaku, to see if it could perceive safe paths through asteroid belts and possibly even whole systems. Whether these experiments bore fruit is unknown.

- The Kanohi Ishaku was named and designed by PunkDrunk-182, and is available for purchase on their Shapeways store. PunkDrunk-182 submitted it for use in BIONICLE Generations, first appearing in the Kanohi Guidebook released on April 3rd 2020.
