Inferna is the first planet in the Magna Star System. It is the home world of the Toa of Fire, and the smallest planet in the Magna Star System, due to all the other planets being giants.
History[]
Originally ruled by a dragon-like being, Inferna was always known for its fiery personas and powerful warlords. During ’s conquest, the planet’s inhabitants were made into foot soldiers for his army. The Matoran race took the role of smiths, while the Toa of Fire were the combatants.
Besides this, the planet maintained it’s greatness as a planet of warriors, especially since Ariki selected the war veteran Lhikan as their ruler. Lhikan, along with his war-horse Kikanalo served as one of Ariki’s closest disciples, up until the Rebellion. From that point forth, Ariki himself took the lead of the planet, ruling with an iron fist as a punishment for the deserters.
Landscape[]
Inferna’s primary characteristic is its red glow and eight rings of fire circling the planet. Within the planet, there are hundreds of constantly erupting volcanoes, most of which are completely submerged in seas of lava. The Toa, Matoran and creatures are adapted to these surrounding, being able to swim and manipulate the lava to suit their own desires. The eight rings around the planet, when manipulated by a Toa powerful enough, can be used as the planet's defense system, burning and disintegrating anything that comes near it.
Being the closest planet to Sol, the planet is nearly uninhabitable, except to fire type species and some light type species. The environment is fatal to creatures of ice and water; similarly, due to it being near Sol, but mostly because the element fire is partially composed of light, creatures of shadow are unable to survive on the planet.
The planet itself serves as the industrial center of the Magna Star System, due to the planet's near infinite supply of raw power, and ability to melt any substance. The UBP uses this planet to forge weapons and defense systems.
