The Kanohi Ikoki is the Mask of Animation. Its usage is widespread, and it is classified as a Life power.
The Kanohi Ikoki allows the user to temporarily impart the simulation of life - motion, basic speech and simple actions - to inanimate objects, and then to command these objects to follow the user’s will.
History[]
As society within the Matoran Universe blossomed and expanded following the Great Spirit Robot's launch, mask makers across the universe honed and refined their skills and began to craft new designs. These masks were not neccessarily as directly relevant to the maintenance of the Great Spirit, but served some now-lost purpose within the newly born civilization.
The Kanohi Ikoki was one such mask.

There is a legend of a crazed hermit, out in the Curoi Magna asteroid fields, guarded by their own private army of "living machinery". This is thought to be the user of a Kanohi Ikoki who was stranded in their habitation unit in the wilds of space and went mad.

- The Kanohi Ikoki was created for BIONICLE Generations, first appearing in the Kanohi Guidebook released on April 3rd 2020.
- If used on a living being who has been petrified, it will grant them their basic functions again but not restore their molecular structure.
