The Kanohi Hyseel is the Kanohi Mask of Symbiosis.
It can be used to metaphorically link one's own body to their targets; so that one can send sensory information (sight, pain, taste, hearing, ect.) and/or energy (such as Elemental Energy) between themselves and another individual. The Great version uses all of the above, while the Noble variant only sends registry information.
History[]
The exact origins of the Hyseel are rather murky. It is presumed to be part of the latter generations of Kanohi mask, and one of the rarer ones. It's likely that due to its mixed uses, it fell into obscurity. The exact number of users within the present day may well be below that of fifty.
Example Usages[]
One notable usage of this was from a Toa transferring his Elemental Energy reserves to another member his his squadron during the Toa/Dark Hunter War.
Another, more infamous example was when a Dark Hunter interrogator would inflict pain to himself and activate his Hyseel during the process, sending the sensory information towards his prisoner and tormenting them with it.

Trivia[]
- This mask has been controversial among Toa. While many can see the use of sending their Elemental Energy reserves to a comrade, many are aware of the potential abuse of the ability to send sensory information. Because of this, very few Toa use this mask.
- Although the Hyseel may appear to use aspects of the Element of Psionics, none of these are considered Elemental in nature.
