Note[]

Seihu's story takes place in a universe identical to the actual canon; therefore it uses real canon objects, characters, locations, storylines and events. It is pretty much a fanon side-story.

However there are characters that are exclusive to this story.

Book I[]

Prologue[]

The city of Metru Nui, also known as the City of Legends, was a glorious city and the most functional location in the Matoran Universe.

It holds six districts: Ta-Metru, the fire district; Ga-Metru, the water district; Po-Metru, the stone district; Ko-Metru, the ice district; Le-Metru, the air district; and Onu-Metru, the earth district.

The city is occupied by villagers known as the Matoran, each belonging to the different districts; defended by warriors known as the Toa; and led by an elder known as a Turaga.

The year is 60,000 BGC, and a certain Matoran was finding his way around the city. He lived in Onu-Metru for a week before traveling throughout other Metrus for many years. He returned to Onu-Metru as the fifth place on his itinerary.

Chapter 1[]

In the quiet district of Onu-Metru, it was a quiet and dim underground place in the city of Metru Nui, adorned with lightstones as well as layers of the history of the City as thick as the layers of sediment in that district. It was dim and dark, but not scary. There was a sense of warmth, mystery and history teeming from even the stalactites of the region alone.

A just then a Matoran villager was just through with viewing the Archives of the city.

“Wow, I never knew how much of a nice city Onu-Metru was,” said the Matoran satisfied.

He was an anomaly among the Matoran of that city. Not only because of his armor being dual colored black with white accents instead of the mostly solid colors of Matoran from Ta-, Ga-, Le-, Ko-, Po-, and Onu-Metru, and the fact he wore a white powerless Miru but because of his traveler and nomadic attitude. Despite that, the Matoran were mostly accepting of him.

Not knowing who he was or what Metru Nui was, this Matoran had gone from district to district for several years. All this villager knew was his name, Seihu.

While leaving the underground city, he took inventory of his journey.

“Let’s see:  I went to Ta-Metru, then Le-Metru, Ga-Metru, Ko-Metru, and Onu-Metru. Where else do I go from here?”

Seihu looked at his map and found Po-Metru.

“Okay, now off to Po-Metru” Seihu excitedly remarked.

What Seihu didn’t know was that at the last city on his itinerary, he would discover more than just the district itself…

Chapter 2[]

Seihu went to the rocky city of Po-Metru. He was amazed by the sculptures and carvings that were decorating a dusty and rocky city. The sounds of hammers and chisels hitting against rocks were so routine that it was almost like an orchestra to him. He was interested in the Po-Matoran making Sculptures at the Fields of Construction.

“These guys are dedicated to their work; I can learn something from them. Why not? I learned a lot from the other Matoran”, though Seihu.

Then Seihu noticed a chisel rolling down and stopping once it tapped his foot.

A Po-Matoran carver asked, “Hey …umm…would you hand me my chisel?”

Seihu crouched down as he picked it up and handed it to him.

“You don’t look like you’re from around here”, the carver observed while tilting his head.

“I travel a lot, although I have lived here in Metru Nui for as long as I can remember, but I have a hard time knowing which place I belong to”, said Seihu.

“Well, now that you’re here and we could use an extra hand” suggested the Po-Matoran, “Are you good with tools?”

“I helped out with making a few tools as well as using them every now and then” nodded Seihu

Seihu worked as an assistant in the fields. He helped with providing the tools and was even taught how to use some of them and carve by his Po-Matoran friend.

A week later at night, he was called to help out with a project that the Po-Matoran were working on in the Sculpture fields.

“The carvings I helped out with at the Fields of Construction are small compared to these,” thought Seihu.

“I would also be careful here if I were you, there are fearsome Rahi around here, like the Catapult Scorpion” warned one of the Po-Matoran.

“What are they like?” asked Seihu.

“That!” yelled the Po-Matoran as it just saw a Catapult Scorpion.

There was the Catapult Scorpion, a black and mostly silver monster that looked like nightmares, fear and violence worked together to make a painting.

“Everybody Run!” yelled a Po-Matoran.

Seihu followed them and ran alongside a Po-Matoran but unfortunately the Po-Matoran tripped.  Just when the Po-Matoran was about to be a goner, Seihu looked back and said “I’m not going to lose one of my new pals”, and ran back. He picked up the Po-Matoran and said “I’ll keep it busy, run and this time stay standing as you run.”

The Po-Matoran argued as the scorpion as charging up its stinger tail reading to blast molten lava, “Are you mad? You’re going to get killed”

“Yeah, whether I will or not, all I know is you shouldn’t be. Now go!” countered Seihu.

The Po-Matoran reluctantly ran.

Seihu looked back and courageously approached the creature as it was ready to strike…

Chapter 3
[]

The Catapult scorpion blasted one of the Magma Balls from his tail. Seihu tumbled to his left and rose up with his fists clenched. Just then, the scorpion turned around and kept firing with Seihu sprinting and dodging with acrobatic moves. In one jump, Seihu then landed on a ledge of one of the mountains and ricocheted off of that wall until he unwittingly kicked the Scorpion’s tail with both of his feet after spinning in mid-air. Bending the tail and causing the magma from the Scorpions tail to build up to the point where it caused the tail to explode. Seihu rolled out of the way of the oncoming Magma. The magma spilled on the Scorpion and stung it badly, but it didn’t give up so easily.

The Scorpion lunged at Seihu with its right pincher and Seihu ducked and swayed to the right of the Scorpion and just as the scorpion was turning around, Seihu put his hand on the surface of its pincher as he vaulted over it and delivered a hard kick and punch to the Scorpion’s face until it broke its teeth.

The Scorpion fell and just when it got up, Seihu had his fists clenched. The Catapult Scorpion wasn’t intelligent as it was violent, but it knew that it had to run away. As Seihu turned around he saw faces of Po-Matoran popping out from behind the Sculptures. They looked bewildered, with their eyes as dilated as their jaws. Then their expressions of bewilderment turned into expressions of gratitude.

“Are you okay?” asked another Po-Matoran.

“Yeah barely, that Scorpion almost won” Seihu panted.

The Po-Matoran that Seihu met asked, “How did you know how to fight like that?”

Stunned, Seihu answered, “I don’t know”…

Chapter 4[]

The day after Seihu was done with his shift at Po-Metru, Seihu went to one of the quietest mountain regions in Po-Metru.

“To think I just beat that Scorpion with my bare hands and feet” looking at his hands and feet.

“I wonder…”

Seihu got some stones and struck some with his hands and feet with power and a good amount of precision.

As he did it, Seihu responded “Amazing!”

But Seihu thought, “Maybe there is more that I can learn in terms of my talents. Maybe I should go back to each of the other Metru for physical training as well."

Seihu had no idea why do he thought of that.

"Why not?” He said as he shrugged.

So Seihu went back to the different districts in Metru Nui to engage his body physically as he did mentally.

One of the places we went to was Ga-Metru. There he learned how to swim. Seihu jumped in the water and remembered how some Ga-Matoran did it. He pushed off with his body and moved his arms and feet and took off. He was a fast learner. From doing that, his movements were more fluid and flexible.

Then he went over to Le-Metru, and remembered how he ricocheted from the mountains at Po-Metru, and that gave him an idea. He decided to do some free running and stunts off of the tall buildings and structures of Le-Metru. His movements after that became more wild, light, and swift.

In Onu-Metru, he kept lifting rocks. This helped him with his stamina and body strength, keeping him stable as the earth itself.

In Ko-Metru, Seihu learned how to balance on Ice poles and walk carefully on ice. This helped him with balance and concentration.

He ended his journey at Ta-Metru, where he learned disk throwing and surviving in hot conditions, this built up his courage and balance of power and speed.

After that, Seihu sighed, “Whew that was such a hard workout. I think I may get a feeling of what the Toa have been going through right now.”

After that, Seihu did encounter more dangerous Rahi, like the Muaka, Kane-Ra, and another Catapult Scorpion. This time he fought in a more experienced fashion with his experience through his training and knowledge of the Rahi.

Unfortunately for Seihu, the Rahi were not the only threat he would encounter...

Chapter 5[]

On his way to the Great Temple for more sightseeing, a wild Stage 3 Rahkshi of Chain Lightning was scaring off some of the Matoran. Seihu was shocked to see what went on.

Seihu read about general information about the Rahkshi, but didn’t know what this particular Rahkshi was or what it wanted.

“What is a Rahkshi doing here at this time?” asked Seihu to himself.

The Rahkshi spotted Seihu and moved towards him.

Seihu built up enough courage to run towards the Rahkshi and challenge it.

“Rahkshi! I don’t know what you’re here for, but I’m going to make sure that you are either going home or going down!” yelled Seihu.

Seihu grabbed the nearest pole he could find and went to attack the Rahkshi. Seihu stood with the metal pole clenched with both hands at his right side. The Rahkshi twirled its staff and tried to hit Seihu on his right with its staff. Seihu blocked it with the metal pole.  Seihu kept parrying and dodging the blows, then just as Seihu leapt up, the Rahkshi smacked him with its staff, knocking both Seihu and the pole from his arm.

“Okay, time to do this MY way” Seihu decided as he cracked his knuckles ready to fight the Rahkshi unarmed.

Then it grabbed Seihu by the throat, then Seihu in a desperate move gave a chop to its elbow and as it released him, he delivered a right backfist and left jab and a kick combo. The Rahkshi got angry and furiously attacked Seihu. Then it used its Chain lightning to give Seihu a mild but painful shock. Seihu was physically stunned and could barely stand.

“Oh snap, this one has electric powers,” thought Seihu. “I shouldn’t have used that metal pole. Good thing it didn’t use its powers on that.”

Just when the Rahkshi was about to move in for the kill, a Toa Mangai of Air by the name of Nidhiki swooped in and knocked the staff out of the Rahkshi’s hands and hit it with the blunt end of his Scythe. Before the Rahkshi could pick up its staff, with one swipe from his Air Scythe, Nidhiki blew the Rahkshi away with a gust of wind.

Seihu was struggling just to get up and a group of Matoran came and picked him up.

Nidhiki looked over his shoulder and walked up to Seihu.

“As heroic as you were, let us Toa handle it next time” smiled Nidhiki as he put his hand on Seihu’s left shoulder.

“Sure thing, Toa Nidhiki” Seihu mumbled with his teeth gritted and head down in subtle humiliation…

Just as Nidhiki went away and the rest of the Matoran went on with their duties, Seihu pounded the stony road with his fist in frustration.

“I will never allow myself to lose to that again,” vowed Seihu…

Chapter 6[]

The failure to destroy the Rahkshi got to Seihu tremendously.

“I can’t believe some fellow Matoran saw me lose to that Rahkshi, and I can’t believe one of the Toa had to save me like that. I’m glad they came no doubt, but I don’t want them to think I’m just a weak Matoran,” grumbled Seihu as he was sitting on a road scraping a twig against the ground. “I don’t understand how my training wasn’t enough. I mean, I was able to do just fine before.”

Seihu pondered, “Now, how do I counter electricity?”

Seihu went to a Kanoka toss arena in Ta-Metru, where he got a Ta-Matoran Kanoka Toss champion to shoot wooden Kanoka sized disks at him. Seihu wanted to quicken his reflexes by learning how to deflect the fastest disks that were coming for him.

“Let the disks fly,” yelled Seihu.

The Ta-Matoran hesitantly obeyed, “Okay, but be careful”.

Then the disks flew and Seihu kept trying to deflect them all but missed one and then the rest of them hit him until he fell. The disks hit Seihu so much that he felt the disks even after he got hit.

The Ta-Matoran ran up to him and provided some aid to Seihu.

“I’m fine, just let me take a little breather” Seihu winced as he put his hand up in subtle protest.

“You’re crazy for doing a workout like this, at least wear a helmet” admonished the Ta-Matoran.

“Well crazy stuff has happened to me in the first place, so why not?” snapped Seihu.” What are you standing around for, let’s do more!”

Seihu tried again and at the 20th time, he was able to deflect all of the disks. He deflected them through punches, kicks, and various elbow, hand, and knee strikes.

The next day he worked on dodging the disks which took him the same amount of time to do.

Seihu recalled Nidhiki’s moves and strategies and used it to come up with his own.

Seihu also secretly walked in on the training sessions of Toa Lhikan and his team.

Seihu also observed the defense mechanisms and fighting characteristics of the Rahi at Onu-Metru with the help of a Ko-Matoran visitor named Matoro.

Seihu even went as far as observing and visiting a Metru Mantis, an Ussal, Gukko, Kewa, Kikanalo, Fusa, Mahi and a Phase Dragon that he ran into frequently at Le-Metru when he was testing vehicles.

Seihu adopted a few of the defense mechanisms they had into his own fighting, especially since some of them were enemies of many dangerous Rahi he encountered and had characteristics that Seihu was fascinated by.

With the help of Nuparu and another Onu-Matoran inventor, Seihu made mechanical dummies that simulated a Rahkshi’s movements and trained with them.

Seihu also went to a lab in Ga-Metru and using scientific knowledge that he learned in the Ga-Metru schools, he made some gloves, knee and elbow pads, and foot protectors that were coated with electricity resistant material.

He was ready to meet the Rahkshi again…

Chapter 7
[]

A few days after it got beat by Nidhiki in Ga-Metru, the Rahkshi came back about to wreak havoc in the caves of Onu-Metru. Seihu was ready for it. The Rahkshi was moving into one of the caves from a rocky shore near the Metru.

Seihu threw an old Kanoka disk at the Rahkshi.

When a Kanoka disk was thrown at the Rahkshi, a metal clank was heard so loud that the echoes in the Onu-Metru caves were small vibrations.

The Rahkshi turned back to see Seihu.

“Welcome back, Rahkshi. I’ve been waiting for you”, Seihu sternly greeted as he put on his gloves.

In an intense altercation, Seihu fought that Rahkshi again.

They went at it again in a spectacle of strikes, blocks, parries and dodges. The Rahkshi elevated to stage 4 and came back with a few new moves and new powers.

Seihu was pushed back briefly.

“You learned new moves, but you’re the same old oversized Kraata.” said Seihu wiping the dirt off. “I learned new moves just for you”

A few members of the Toa Mangai came in and just when they were about to move in, Seihu remarked,

“This is between me and the Rahkshi”.

The Toa were hesitant about it because they did not want to let a Matoran fight a Rahkshi especially in the way Seihu was fighting it, so they on standby with their weapons and watched in case things got ugly.

Just as Seihu cracked his knuckles and stretched his legs and arms for a few seconds, he went back into the fight.

The Rahkshi unleashed a fierce fury of physical attacks with its staff as well as fire its electric based attacks. But using a vast array of new reflexes, parries, dodges and physical attacks, derived from his training and with the help of his new gloves and boots; Seihu was able to counter those attacks and overpower that Rahkshi.

After several strikes and beatings, the Rahkshi suit was so badly damaged that the Kraata that was in it had to flee. Seihu immediately grabbed the Kraata with his gloved hands.

Seihu was wondering what to do with it when Duji, the Duji made a jar from the rocks on the ground and came up to Seihu with a jar ready.

“Do you want me to…?” Seihu asked.

The Toa nodded with approval.

Seihu happily put the Kraata in the jar that a Toa was holding, and the Toa contained it.

The Toa looked at the sight with approval.

A Toa with his hands crossed walked up and told Seihu, “You just got lucky this time, Matoran."

"What's your name, Matoran?" asked the Toa

"Seihu" Seihu replied.

"Be careful next time, Seihu. The Rahkshi are fierce opponents” warned the Toa.

The Toa left with the Kraata and Lhikan nodded with approval at Seihu.

Seihu looked at the scraped and battle-tattered gloves he wore with a smirk of accomplishment.

“I did it!” Seihu marveled with a wide grin.

Chapter 8[]

A few months after Seihu beat that Rahkshi, a war was going on in Metru Nui or better yet the Matoran universe.

“Things seem way more hostile now than they used to be. There’s something about this air that breeds contention, contention that I never even felt when fighting the Rahkshi of Chain Lightning“, worried Seihu.

This was the Toa/Dark Hunter war.

Seihu knew that the time to train the most was now.

He was out in a secluded area in Ga-Metru where he was practicing his forms. Seihu’s actions were quick and powerful. A barrage of kicks, punches, strikes, and blocks were part of his moves and put together in such a rhythm that it had a smooth but intimidating motion, but with power and grace.

“Hey look, some weird Matoran is trying to learn how to fight” observed a black, lime and red Toa-sized figure.

“Isn’t that hilarious? Let’s show him what fighting is all about!” said a dark blue, black and dark red Toa-sized figure with a mischievous grin.

“But it’s just a Matoran, why waste our lives on getting Matoran?” asked the white, lime and red figure.

“Matoran play a vital part in this universe. If we can get one, we can get them all”, said the darker figure.

The dark colored member came up and introduced in a quasi-friendly voice, “Hey Matoran! I am Toa Burosa”. Burosa pointing to the black, lime, and red figure,” And my friend here is Toa Sterok”.  “We have seen you in action and think you are really good. We are looking for a sparring partner. Are you up for some sparring with us ‘Toa’?”

“Huh, you don’t look like any Toa I’ve ever met or read about” Seihu examined.

That is because they were anything but Toa, by code, morals and appearance.

“That’s because we have been on other missions, and in some of those missions we were overpowered and captured by some of the Rahkshi and experimented on by Makuta himself” said Burosa.

“I’m sorry to hear that”, Seihu sympathized.

“It’s okay. Anyways are you up for it?” challenged Burosa.

“If that’s what you want then so be it,” said Seihu.

Burosa and Sterok looked at each other with a smile and lunged at Seihu. Seihu dodged and got fighting ready.

They sparred together and Seihu impressively held his own against them. The “sparring session” ended with both those figures bruised and battered on the ground with Seihu still standing with only two hits on him.

“This Matoran beat us. That was not what we planned”, thought Sterok.

“It’s time for plan B”, Burosa said.

They then offered gave Seihu an offer that he can’t refuse.

“You are very good. I believe that you can be as great as the Toa one day” affirmed Burosa. “We run a Toa training program and we want you to be a part of it.”

“Yeah, Yeah, really good” Sterok nodded with an eager giggle.

The Burosa smacked Sterok on the back of his head.

“If you join us, you can beat any foe that tries to destroy your Matoran friends, and be a hero” Burosa propositioned. “But you have to survive some tests first”

“I’ll think about it. Give me a day” said Seihu.

“Okay a day, just don’t let us know too late” urged Burosa.

The next day, Seihu accepted the offer…

Chapter 9[]

After Seihu accepted the offer, the “Toa” he met secretly trained and sparred with him for about almost a year for twice a week, before one of the events.

One night, a conversation between Sterok and Burosa took place.

“Why are we training him?” asked the Sterok.

“We need him for our assignment” said Burosa. “Besides whether he lives or dies, it’s only for the entertainment and profit. Besides we are getting paid generously for this.”

The next day, Seihu and the two mischievous figures went to an underground fighting arena in a shady part of Ta-Metru. In there were so many fighters from all over the Matoran universe who had one goal: To beat whoever is there, and be the best.

Just when the sweltering heat of the great furnace was not enough, the heat of battle and the burning passion of the fights were enough to compete with the furnace.

Seihu watched as many fighters were training and polishing their weapons.

“These guys are really going at it, I could learn something from them” said Seihu.

“Oh don’t worry about them, it’s your time to shine, Hero” said Burosa.

“I got a new mask for you, huh?” asked Burosa.

Seihu responded, “But my mask is just fine.”

“Nonsense, the new mask is to show off the powerful yet heroic essence you project now” said Burosa.

“Well…” pondered Seihu looking up with his hand on his chin.

“Sterok! Get the mask!” commanded Burosa

Sterok got a mask that was red and black, almost rectangular, with hornlike eyebrows, and an imposing appearance.

“Try it on, champion” said Burosa.

“Well, okay,” decided Seihu looking left to right in thought. He took off his white Miru and put on the new mask.

“This feels pretty good” smiled Seihu.

Burosa nodded with a mischievous grin.

“Excuse me for a minute; I need to talk with a few ‘Toa’ friends.” Burosa lied.

Just then a Skakdi came in and said, “I hope you supplied the entertainment for the fight.”

“Don’t worry about that we got a foolish and odd Matoran to come here.” smirked Burosa. “He’s perfect, once he dies, he won’t be around to complain anymore.”

The tradition in these fights was that for entertainment before a fight, the best fighter in the ring has to torture either a naïve or unwilling Matoran until it dies, in order to warm up a crowd.

The fight started and the announcer spoke, “Greetings all you Matoran Universe beings, welcome to the Underground fighting exhibit.” We would like to start this event with some entertainment. Get ready to laugh.” In this corner, from Karzahni, here is the reigning champion, Kraezukor!” Just then Kraezukor came out, he was a big bulky dark gunmetal gray, black, orange and lime figure came out and said “Bring it on, I love this game”,

“Get ready, because in the next corner, the sacrifice, a Matoran from Metru Nui!” yelled the Announcer. The crowd went wild and cheered.

“Listen to the crowd cheer for you” said Burosa to Seihu as he was getting ready.

“Wow, people like me already” said Seihu.

“Yes, now go out and make me happy…I mean…make yourself a Toa” said Burosa trying to hold back a laugh.

“You know it!” Seihu exclaimed.

The moment Seihu eagerly ran and left, Burosa and Sterok laughed maniacally and loudly until they fell over.

Seihu had no idea that he was going to be set up for a life or death game…

Chapter 10[]

Seihu went out to the small ring with an amazed look as he saw the crowd.

Seihu looked up and with his eyes widened saw the figure he was fighting. Seihu was surprised at his bulky and tall size mixed with his pugnacious smile, but was ready nonetheless.

“Shouldn’t you be doing tending to your village, Matoran?” Kraezukor mocked stooping over Seihu.

“Well, I travel a lot and taken up many jobs, I came here…” said Seihu.

Just when Seihu was about to finish, Kraezukor punched him and kicked him so hard that he flew to the wall.

The crowd went wild and laughed as Kraezukor boasted. Seihu regaining consciousness stood up and just when he did, Kraezukor was about to run him over, but gathering some strength, Seihu rolled out of the way and tripped Kraezukor causing him to fall headfirst into the wall.

The crowd went silent, and then laughed.

Seihu thought, “This must be another training tip, always be ready for your opponent’s next move. This guy is serious, that means I should be too.”

Just when Seihu got his guard up, Kraezukor ran towards him about to deliver a smash to Seihu but Seihu jumped to the side and rolled away as Kraezukor tried to smack him across the side. Kraezukor tried to perform several kicks to Seihu, with Seihu dodging some while blocking others, even going as far as to counter kick one. Angry, Kraezukor tried to deliver a heel kick on Seihu, but before Kraezukor’s foot dropped down; Seihu tumbled underneath Kraezukor and grabbed Kraezukor’s non-kicking leg and threw it up. This caused Kraezukor to fall on his back.

The crowd gasped and got even wilder at the sight with many laughing even more.

Getting up angrier, Kraezukor jumped up and tried to repeatedly punch Seihu, but Seihu dodged and kept moving so swiftly and agile that it made Kraezukor dizzy.

Kraezukor shook his head and wondered where Seihu was. Not knowing that Seihu kept on going behind him out of sight.

Seihu turned around with his back towards Kraezukor’s and whistled. But the moment Kraezukor looked behind him, Seihu kicked Kraezukor’s belly, causing him to bend over to Seihu’s height as he was holding his belly enabling Seihu to send a sharp strike to Kraezukor’s face. Krazukor retaliated and tried punching and stomping again, but after blocking, dodging, and parrying, Seihu delivered a series of punches, kicks, and strikes to his face, belly, and legs.

Kraezukor spun as he fell to the ground, he got thought, “I just have one more chance, and I won’t be the laughing stock”. He got out his knife with his right hand moving in to stab Seihu.  Seihu swayed to his left as he grabbed the knife wielding hand with his two hands, elbowed Kraezukor in the face, punched him, disarmed him, and with some torque, Seihu threw the “champion” over his shoulder, causing Kraezukor to flip and fall on his back.

Seihu finished with a chop to the former champion’s gut.

All Kraezukor could do was groan in agony as he was knocked out.

There was a silence so deafening that it was almost deadening. Even Burosa and Sterok had their jaws dropped. The announcer was even trembling at the sight, “Uhh…winner, the Matoran from Metru Nui”.

In a few seconds, the crowd yelled, “Matoran! Matoran! Matoran! Matoran”!

Seihu looked at his hands and marveled.

Seihu even gave a respectful bow to the audience.

Kraezukor got his assistants to lift him up, and although he was still alive, he couldn’t look up due to his damaged pride. Even his assistants were snickering at the sight.

“Oh Karzahni No! He actually beat Kraezukor” yelled Sterok. “What do we do now, boss?”

“You should be glad that I come up with the plans around here, otherwise you’d be Kanoka-Bones”, barked Burosa.

“I got one …”

Chapter 11[]

Seihu went back to the training room and washed his face.

Just then, he heard hands clap.

Seihu with his eyes scrunched in confusion looked behind him, only to see Burosa walking in clapping.

“Well done, Matoran,” applauded Burosa, “You have fought wonderfully. Your training has paid off”

"Thanks, but is Kraezukor going to be okay?” asked Seihu. ”I think I went a little too overzealous on him especially with that last chop”.

“Forget about him, he was in way over his head to fight you, champion” said Burosa.

Seihu shrugged his shoulders at that.

“Say, let’s go out and have a little chat”, suggested Burosa.

“So, do you have a place to live?” asked Burosa.

“No, I travel a lot” said Seihu.

“But now you will be traveling with us from now on” said Burosa.

“Yeah come with us, we have an extra space in our lair…” said Sterok. Burosa elbowed him. “…I mean our home.”

“Okay, but let me say bye to my friends first” said Seihu. .

“Nonsense, training waits for no one. You can say goodbye to your friends anytime”, interrupted Burosa.

“Yeah, goodbye our way” muttered Burosa.

“What was that?” asked Seihu.

“Nothing, it’s just that times, are dangerous now, Toa and Dark Hunters are at war, remember? You got to be ready” said Burosa trying to cover up his intentions.

“Well, I do want to be ready.” said Seihu.

“Okay, then let’s go” directed Burosa.

He went with the two beings on a stolen Vahki transport and Burosa threw Seihu’s Miru on the ground when he wasn’t looking.

For about three months, Burosa and Sterok managed Seihu’s career as an Underground arena champion in many venues in the Matoran universe; Karzahni, Zakaz and Xia.

Seihu stalemated only two of his opponents, but destroyed the winning streak of many of the champions. He fought many people including a few dark hunters who took part in the fighting games. Seihu took them down with his developing agility, strength, dexterity and speed. His kicks, punches, strikes, throws and takedowns made him a favorite among the fighters in Matoran Universe.

Seihu went from being the unaware joke of the arena, to one of the most feared opponents in the games.

Eventually, the Phase Dragon that Seihu met on Le-Metru went through Ta-Metru looking around for Seihu, then it saw Seihu’s mask on the ground picked up its scent and with its mouth, picked the mask itself up. Once it picked up Seihu’s mask, it went back to Le-Metru.

In the morning in Le-Metru, Lhikan, Naho, Duji; Verkiji, a Toa Mangai of the Green; and a Le-Matoran were discussing plans for how to counter the Dark Hunters in the war and guard the city starting with the Chute System.

Just then the Phase Dragon woke up at the sight of the Le-Matoran and the Toa and appeared before them.

Duji got out his hammer and chain at the sight of the Phase Dragon, perceiving it as a threat.

The Le-Matoran eased, “Stand down, this Rahi is not an enemy, it’s fast-chase but happy-smile friend.”

Duji put down his hammer.

The Phase Dragon put down Seihu’s white Miru.

The Toa looked with feelings of shock and confusion at the sight…

Chapter 12[]

Duji, the Toa Mangai of Stone said, “That mask looks like that Matoran’s mask. What was the Matoran’s name?”

Lhikan explained, “His name is Seihu”.

The Le-Matoran even looked kind of scared.

The Duji angrily asked while holding his weapon, “What did that beast do to him?!”

The Phase Dragon was leaping, making grunts and growling sounds as if it was trying to talk.

“Now, what’s it doing?” the Toa of Stone asked easing his weapon a little.

“Wait.” Naho spoke as she used her Great Rau to understand the beast. “It says that the Matoran named Seihu went missing and all that was left was his Mask in Ta-Metru. It found his mask just now.”

Just then a small pigeon like Rahi called the Carigi flew to the Toa, and landed on Naho’s shoulder.

“What’s this?” Naho asked.

Naho looked and the Carigi simply cooed at her and moved its head.

Naho smiled as she petted it briefly.

Just then the Carigi blinked its eyes and a purple light shone out of them. Then Naho had a vision of Burosa and Sterok dropping Seihu’s Miru in Ta-Metru, going with Seihu going across different parts of the Matoran world, and coming back to Metru Nui, particularly Po-Metru. With a voice saying, “go to the Assembler’s village tonight”

As the Carigi flew away from Naho’s shoulder, it went to the other Toa briefly, and ended with Lhikan. They all saw the same vision.

“Burosa and Sterok” Lhikan muttered with bitter annoyance. “Those two are at it again. I thought they gave up from the last time Nidhiki and I confronted them after they threatened Turaga Dume into giving them Matoran for their sick experiments.”

Duji shook his head, “It seems like they just don’t know when to give up”.

The Rahi flew back to Naho and landed in her hand.

Naho was amazed at this Rahi, it has never been seen before in Metru Nui before.

“For such a small rahi, it holds such a vast amount of knowledge” Naho remarked as she held the Carigi.

“I used my mask, and found out it wasn’t lying”, A Toa of Mangai of Ice wearing a Kanohi Rode said, “It also said that Burosa, Sterok and Seihu would be coming tonight”

It growled and jumped in its typical fashion Naho translated this, “It said that finally caught a strong sight of Seihu’s scent, it’s getting stronger this moment”.

The Phase Dragon growled and muttered in an urgent fashion and walked.

Naho used her Rau again and “It wants us to follow it.”

“You guys keep watch, we can’t leave this city unguarded” directed Lhikan. “I’ll go after Seihu”

Lhikan decided to follow the Phase Dragon to Po-Metru.

Even the Carigi followed them…

Chapter 13[]

When Burosa, Sterok and Seihu arrived back at Po-Metru, the site of Burosa’s hut, Seihu was talking to Burosa about some of his travels.

“…And the Muaka just fell after a few hits, rear throws and choke” recalled Seihu as his eyes lit up with excitement. “What about you, what about the battles you have gone through?”

“Well, I have been called on a lot of missions, like retrieving a sword from Xia that was going to be used for twisted and truly disgusting purposes” said Burosa.

“Like what?” Seihu asked.

“Well, by power hungry criminals like some corrupt Toa who want nothing to do but to harm innocent Matoran like you,” said Burosa.

“That’s just low, I didn’t know there were corrupt Toa out there”, exclaimed Seihu.

“That is why I’m training you with the best in order to strike them like the lightning that personifies your skills”, said Burosa. “Hey I got a great nickname for you. How do you like ‘Lightstrike”?

“Lightstrike? Catchy name.” said Seihu. “I will keep fighting to make myself worthy of the name”.

Just then there was a knock on their door. Sterok said, “Umm…boss…there is some green Rahi outside that looks almost like a Tahtorak.”

Seihu looked down and thought, “It can’t be…”

“Please let me deal with this, my mentors”, Seihu pleaded.

“By all means” encouraged Burosa.

Seihu followed the Phase Dragon to a mountain at night time.

“Hey boy, what are you doing here?” asked Seihu as he crouched down petting and hugging his Phase Dragon pet.

“I was about to ask you the same question, Seihu” remarked Toa Lhikan as he was walking from the shadows with his arms crossed.

“Toa Lhikan!” exclaimed Seihu happily. “I missed you!”

“Likewise”, solemnly remarked Lhikan. “I almost couldn’t recognize you with that mask on.”

It’s a new look” Seihu chuckled. “How did you find me?”

“Let’s just say that the key to finding you came straight from the Phase Dragon’s mouth” Lhikan pointed to the Phase Dragon.

“Well, it’s great to see you again,” said Seihu eagerly. “I have some great news!”

“Please share it” calmly demanded Lhikan.

“I met these two Toa who are mentoring me”, Seihu told Lhikan as he pointed to the hut.

Lhikan’s eyes closed in exasperation and disbelief after hearing what Seihu called them, “Toa”.

“Isn’t it great? Now I can learn to serve the city of Metru Nui and protect Matoran…” exclaimed Seihu.

“I’m glad you want to help with the right cause, but what are the names of these Toa?” asked Lhikan pretending ignorance.

“They don’t want anyone to know their names because they are on the run from Makuta and he can take on all shapes and sizes” said Seihu.

“I agree with the Makuta part. But don’t they know that it’s not right for ‘Toa’ to keep secrets from other Toa?” asked Lhikan.

“Really?” asked Seihu.

“Yes, it’s part of the Toa code. I thought Burosa and Sterok would know better by now” said Lhikan with an emphasis on their names.

“Oh, so you do know them!” chimed in Seihu with a sigh of relief.

“But sadly, you don’t, Seihu” said Lhikan.

“What do you mean, Lhikan?” Seihu questioned with confusion in his tone.

“Seihu, they are not who you think they are…” warned Lhikan.

“Lhikan, I can’t believe you would say that about your comrades” Seihu criticized with disbelief.

“Seihu, listen up!” yelled Lhikan with concern in his voice. “Those two are not Toa; they are some of the most notorious criminals in all of the Matoran Universe. They are using you!”

“Wait a minute, Toa do not divide other Toa unless they are under the influence of Makuta. You do agree that Makuta can take all different forms” remarked Seihu. “That must mean that YOU are under the influence of Makuta himself!”

Lhikan bowed his head in disbelief again.

“Oh, so now you have been found out”, declared Seihu with his hands crossed. “Well guess what, you won’t stop me from doing my duty to help the city of Metru Nui and carry out the will of Mata Nui himself. Stay away from me before I get my mentor Toa to stop you and set you straight!”

“You can go ahead, but they won’t. But Seihu, look carefully and then ask yourself if following them is really worth all you’re doing.” Lhikan challenged him.

Lhikan being the patient Toa that he was, didn’t want to spend time in petty arguments, and he left shaking his head in disbelief.

The Phase Dragon looked at Seihu, put its face down in sadness and walked away as shown by its body language.

Seihu walked back to Burosa’s hut annoyed and looked back in disbelief and shook his head.

“Fool me once, shame on you, Makuta!” Seihu muttered angrily…

“I don’t need to prove he is deceived, but I’ll make sure he knows the truth sooner or later” vowed Lhikan as he flew back on his hoverboard.

Lhikan didn’t give up on Seihu and hired some Toa to watch over him.

Chapter 14[]

Seihu walked inside the house with an annoyed expression on his face.

“So what happened over there?” asked Burosa staring into space.

“I ran into Lhikan,” explained Seihu.

Burosa’s eyes widened as he said that.

Sterok woke up from his nap with eyes widened in alarm after hearing the name, “Lhikan”.

“L...L...Lhikan?”  Sterok asked with trepidation unusual for a bigger guy like him.

Burosa’s widened eyes then frowned.

“Sterok…” Burosa gritted.

Sterok went back to sleep abruptly.

“What did he say?” asked Burosa with a fake smile trying to cover up his guilt.

“He said something about you guys deceiving me and harming Matoran. But that’s not true right?” asked Seihu.

“No, no, no, no, he’s lying”, Burosa said with kind of a creepy stare.

“Anyways, go get your rest. You need it for the next training match” said Burosa.

“Okay, good night”, said Seihu as he went to his room to sleep.

A few minutes after Seihu went to sleep, Burosa was angrily pacing the floor.

“This is a bunch of Kane-Ra!” exclaimed Burosa. “Why is Lhikan here?”

“Yeah, He should go home!” added Sterok. “Or maybe we should go home!”

Burosa immediately jumped out of his seat and angrily grabbed Sterok by his ear and pulled him out of the hut with him so Seihu couldn’t hear anything.

“YOU FOOL! WE HAVE NO HOME!” Burosa ranted angrily. “Ever since the Makuta of Metru Nui stripped us of most of our powers, stripped us of our Rahkshi project; and after he discovered us for our experiments to get on equal footing with him, he stripped us of our home; we have NOWHERE else to go! Now we were forced to provide entertainment for fights, starting off in Stelt. MUST I REMIND YOU OF EVERYTHING!!!?”

“That’s why we must make sure that our business never gets found out!” commanded Burosa while grabbing Sterok by the neck.

“Okay, okay” choked Sterok.

Burosa let go of Sterok.

“In the meantime, it’s a good thing we have a naïve champion to keep us swimming in widgets and power like Takea and Ruki in the Silver Sea” Burosa sighed as he gradually relaxed with a maniacal chuckle.

What they didn’t know was that they were getting found out, not only by some Toa that Lhikan recruited, but by another party…

Chapter 15[]

In the morning, Seihu and his managers went to Stelt for the next match.

In Stelt, the figurative stench that filled the air was that of greed and conflict, combined with its desolate landscape. It was perfect for a match like this and easy for Burosa and Sterok to make fast money.

Fighters kept lining up at the gate.

Seihu could sense the fighters’ bodies hunger for war like a Kinloka for solid protodermis.

Seihu had a feeling of what this would entail, that it was going to be one of the fights for his life.

The Semi-final tournament began with fighters from various places facing off.

Seihu as usual kept on beating his opponents and moving up on the ladder to victory.

As the announcer kept on screaming “Lightstrike wins” at the end of every fight, Burosa muttered with a mischievous smile while counting his money, “And I win too”.

The final match of the evening took place; Seihu went up against a bulky Steltian champion 3 times his height named Hulgon who advanced to the finals.

The arena was dark and damp with the sweat of several fighters who fought vigorously at this stage.

“Fighters, ready?” asked the announcer.

Seihu and Hulgon got in their respective fighting stances.

“Begin!” yelled the announcer.

Seihu with a running start charged towards Hulgon. Hulgon delivered a jumping back wheel kick to Seihu but Seihu avoided this as he slid underneath the path of Hulgon’s kick and sprung up behind him, then turned to deliver a chop to Hulgon’s neck, only for Hulgon to grab his hand and throw Seihu over its shoulder like a Kanoka disk. Seihu countered this by rebounding off of the wall he was about to slam into and flipping over his opponent and bouncing off of another wall. Hulgon back fisted Seihu into a wall as Seihu was about to kick him. Hulgon didn’t speak or boast, but its body language showed that he was taking the fight seriously.

Burosa was looking in disgust at the sight. His source of money was going to make him bankrupt.

Seihu stood up as Hulgon walked toward him standing with an emotionless look, and Seihu was getting angry and tried to fight Hulgon off. Seihu kept on kicking, punching, and chopping until he got exhausted, but Hulgon blocking his attacks and pushing him away. Hulgon had some decency to allow Seihu to catch his breath. The moment Hulgon delivered a round kick, Seihu gathering enough energy ducked it and leg sweeped Hulgon down and punched him in the face twice before he grabbed Seihu’s fist and then stood up and locked Seihu’s arm. Seihu tried to counter it by stepping on Hulgon’s foot, but it let go before Seihu stepped on it and kicked Seihu’s back. Seihu ran towards him in fury and Hulgon attempted to trip him, but Seihu having enough sense did a spinning jump over it and punched Hulgon’s back. Seihu in another rage of fury tried to run Hulgon over, but Hulgon moved aside only for Seihu to kick the wall again and Hulgon punched Seihu so hard that he was flying two ten far. Seihu could barely stand up.

Burosa was so disgusted that he intervened and paid the announcer enough money to call a timeout.

“What’s going on here? You should be beating this guy!” Burosa mulled in anger.

“I’m not sure, this opponent is just something else” inhaled Seihu as he is breathing heavily and holding his shoulder.

“Then come up with something else!” yelled Burosa “Remember that move that I taught you? Here is the dart to start it off”.

Seihu looked at the dart with unease

“I don’t know, won’t this…?” asked Seihu.

“He’ll get over it” Burosa interrupted.

“But…” Seihu questioned.

“Do you want to become a hero or not!” Burosa angrily interrupted as he pounded his fist on the seat.

“You know I do!” exclaimed Seihu

“Then go!” yelled Burosa.

Seihu took the dart and ran off with it.

Seihu returned to the fight and got ready.

“Okay, now we are back. Let’s continue this fight.” yelled the announcer.

Seihu got ready and ran towards him and Hulgon likewise. Just as he did that, they jumped and Seihu did a one two kick as Hulgon crossed his chest to block Seihu’s kicks. Just then Seihu kept punching and kicking, with Hulgon blocking, and the reverse. They also exchanged an equal amount of blows, two hits to each one. Seihu and Hulgon were getting fatigued.  Just then a Seihu got so angry over the fact that he could lose that he built up enough energy and in one dirty move, Seihu used a poison dart on Hulgon and repeatedly kicked and punched him in head, chest, and legs.

Burosa and Sterok enjoyed watching this, and clapped at the violent sight.

Just when Seihu grabbed Hulgon by both his arms, ran and fell backwards and jettisoned Hulgon over with his foot, it ended by Seihu jumping on him and in a fury that would rival that of Makuta himself, repeatedly beating Hulgon until he appeared not to be moving.

“Lightstrike wins!” as the announcer raised Seihu’s arm.

The crowd cheered again.

Seihu won the fight, but in his facial expression, outside of a smirk, he appeared emotionless until he left the arena.

Just when Seihu limped out of the arena with Burosa and Sterok, he saw some of Hulgon’s friends trying to get their champion back up. But they couldn’t, he appeared to be either in a coma or dead.

His friends glared at Seihu with disbelief, anger and sadness.

Seihu couldn’t believe what he just witnessed. Normally when he fought, he made sure that when his opponents lost they would just simply lose while breathing, but Seihu didn’t know how to deal with his opponent not only losing the match, but losing its life…

Chapter 16[]

Seihu was still in shock over what he did as he laid down at his bed. The scene of what he did and the Hulgon’s friends trying to help their champion, who also happened to be their best friend, kept playing in his head.

Seihu was almost in tears.

He decided to talk to Burosa.

“Burosa”, inquired Seihu. “I need to talk.”

“What?” Burosa asked lying down.

“I think I killed Hulgon as I was fighting. I got angry during the fight” confessed Seihu with his eyes to the floor.

“Don’t let it get to you,” replied Burosa rolling his eyes without Seihu looking.

“Besides you won anyway, the people fight dirty in Stelt so they wouldn’t notice. Sometimes Toa have to bend the rules a little.”

“But, how much do Toa have to bend the rules before it gets out of line?” asked Seihu pensively.

“...It’s all about defeating the undesirables”, countered Burosa, refusing to answer the question. “If it makes you feel any better, don’t do that trick anymore”

“Now get ready for the next few tournaments, it’s going to be one of the defining points for you to become a Toa. They are going to be here in Metru Nui” said Burosa.

Seihu didn’t know that this was going to an event in which he was going to get drafted to be a member of the Dark Hunters, the biggest mercenary organization in the Matoran universe. The Dark Hunters prepared for it and were bringing in their best soldiers to fight.

While training outside at night, Seihu came across a mutated Matoran experiment turned Dark Hunter named Phantom, who came to Po-Metru in violation of the Dark Hunters orders.

Seihu was alarmed, and had his guard up with his body shaking for a fight.

Phantom trying to diffuse the situation, “I’m not here to fight”

“Then what are you doing here?” Seihu questioned with his hands in a battle ready position.

“Leave while you still have the chance. As a Matoran, you don’t belong with them. Don’t become like me” warned Phantom.

“Those are Toa, not monsters.” Seihu retorted with anger.

“You are deceived”, Phantom sighed.

Seihu couldn’t take it, as he tried to strike Phantom, Phantom dodged and flew away.

“Get back here!” roared Seihu, throwing rocks at the Dark Hunter.

“What’s with everybody nowadays?!” pondered Seihu as he was walking back to his hut in Po-Metru, thrashing his fists in anger.

Seihu then got reminded of Lhikan’s words “They are not who you think they are… ask yourself if following them is really worth all you’re doing”, then Burosa’s words after Seihu’s confession, “Sometimes Toa have to bend the rules a little…Besides you won anyway”, and Phantom, “As a Matoran, you don’t belong with them. Don’t become like me.”

Seihu also remembered the incident with him and Hulgon at the ring, the excessive gambling, and even one undocumented time when he saw a corpse in one of the lockers.

“Is this really for real?” wondered Seihu. “I mean, Lhikan is has been too trustworthy for me to have made such an accusation about him, and Burosa seemed almost unremorseful and didn’t answer my question, and these Toa program fights have been kind of shady.”

Just then, he saw Burosa and Sterok in a conversation. He listened outside and secretly overheard it.

“This is great. Now the Dark Hunters want Lightstrike” Sterok cheered.

“Exactly, the best part is that now that we tricked that Matoran into fighting these underground fighting rings, after the final fight we will have enough money to buy off the Dark Hunters from The Shadowed One. We had to settle for being power stripped scientists, then entertainment managers to kill off Matoran and Toa, and even having to release some Rahkshi from the Archives, but how often do you get a Matoran working for us and beating people up the way that we would have if we still had our powers? Makuta may have stripped us of 41 of our Kraata powers because of his power hunger, but with Lightstrike, we will have enough to infiltrate the hunters and buy a whole group of powers that will take down anyone our way. We’ll have Labs, Dark Hunters, Weapons, you name it!”

Seihu heard this and gasped inaudibly,

“The most hilarious part is that he thinks we are Toa!” laughed Sterok

“Yes, that is hilarious that he would associate us with that fire-spitting pest Lhikan, and that old gas bag Dume” laughed Burosa. “He’s so stupid! He’s an incredible fighter, but an foolish Brakas”.

“Yeah those do-gooding idiots” chortled Sterok.

“Now that he killed Hulgon, thanks to me implanting my anger powers in his mask last night, we can make him kill Toa and the Dark Hunters’ leader for us so we can take over” Burosa sneered.

Seihu heard what was said and could not believe it. Seihu was in horror over what he heard. It was a combination of horror and sadness. This time the anger came from Seihu instead of Burosa’s manipulation. They insulted him, the Matoran, the Toa, and Dume, and most importantly used him for their selfish, violent agenda.

“Ah yes, looking at all we have done okay. Forget Makuta, we are now the ones going to be the ones everyone will fear.” said Burosa.

Seihu realized that Lhikan was telling the truth all along.

“This is not what I signed up for, I wanted to fight to be a hero and help others.” Seihu sniveled with his hands on his head.

Seihu wanted to find a way out inconspicuously. So he observed his surroundings for any loose objects to avoid and stealth fully walked around those objects and ran for Onu-Metru.

Chapter 17[]

Seihu was on the run from Burosa and Sterok and hid in Onu-Metru for a moment. In the morning, Seihu was still running and in a desperate move he called on his Kewa with a whistle. The Kewa flew in and it could tell it was Seihu by his voice despite him not wearing his Miru.

Seihu got on the Kewa and instructed, quietly with his voice breaking, “find Toa Lhikan and his team”.

The Kewa flew him all the way to Ta-Metru and there, by chance, he saw Toa Lhikan again, talking to his team.

As Seihu walked towards them with his head down, the Toa team saw Seihu and tapped Lhikan’s shoulder to show him that they had a visitor.

“T...T...Toa Lhikan?” whimpered Seihu with his head down.

Lhikan stepped forward and asked with a calm but patient demeanor, “You want to talk, Seihu?”

Unable to compose himself, Seihu broke down and sobbed uncontrollably, “Lhikan, I’m so sorry! Burosa and Sterok used and lied to me! They truly are monsters; I never should have trusted them. I’m sorry I even accused you of being Makuta as well. I betrayed all of Metru Nui by falling into their trap, I’m not worthy of carrying the name of ‘Matoran’. Just kill me now!”

Lhikan put his head down not wanting to show emotion, but he was moved by Seihu’s genuine sorrow. Lhikan looked back and his team members solemnly nodded their head with approval for Lhikan to handle it gracefully.

Seihu was still sobbing bitterly as Lhikan turned to Seihu and crouched down to his height.

“Seihu, what you did was misguided and would have been a catalyst from advancing this war”, scolded Lhikan.

Lhikan put his arm on Seihu’s shoulder, “But if I decided to kill anyone because they were cheated into doing something wrong, many of the Matoran wouldn’t be here right now. You’re forgiven; I don’t hold it against you.”

Seihu added, “But you have no idea what I did, I lost so much control that…I killed a fighter in Stelt!”

“You did what?” a booming voice out of nowhere asked.

“Who asked that?” asked Seihu trying to wipe away his tears.

The figure behind the booming voice stepped forward and Seihu couldn't believe who he saw, he was almost speechless.

Chapter 18[]

The figure behind the booming voice stepped forward with some bandages, and revealed to be Hulgon, the Steltian champion that Seihu supposedly killed, arriving with a few of his friends who were trying to wake him up after Seihu knocked him out.

“Hulgon?!” cried Seihu. ”But…you…I did…you shouldn’t be…” stuttered Seihu over the sight of the fighter still being alive.

Hulgon shook his head and chuckled.

“I have had thick skin in the past, only for it to get figuratively and literally thicker these past few years, unlike my heart. It takes a little more than a few dirty tricks to take me down this time around ‘Lightstrike’ or should I say, Seihu”, Hulgon said with a warm grin, patting Seihu’s head.

Seihu was starting to smile, but was still speechless at the sight.

“But nobody would have survived that.” Seihu said.

“Yes, nobody would have, that’s why what you think happened didn’t happen” replied one of Hulgon’s friends.

Seihu shrugged, “I don’t get it”

Hulgon walked past Seihu as he explained “When Burosa was in the audience a few seconds before he got the announcer to call a time out, we knew that he was going to try a sleazy trick.”

“Then I used my telepathic powers to read Burosa’s mind. He planned on using a poisonous dart to kill Hulgon.” One of Hulgon’s friends added. “But he didn’t want to do it himself, lest the audience see his actions and suspect him, so he wanted to make you do it, Seihu.”

“That is where I came in. When Sterok was getting the dart from his bag outside, I hit him with a dart of my own that knocked him out for a minute, took the dart from his bag and switched it with a mere tranquilizer dart that resembled the dart’s appearance before Sterok woke up” added another one of Hulgon’s friends.

The scene flashed back to Seihu listening to the event.

“So the dart you hit Hulgon with was only an anesthetic, instead of the killer that Burosa intended it to be” repeated a female friend of Hulgon.

Seihu’s was standing there motionless with his eyes open after hearing that. Just when Seihu finally snapped out of it,

“I don’t know what to say.” Seihu responded with a bit relief mixed with surprise.

“It’s alright, Seihu” Hulgon said.

“During the last few minutes of the fight, I used my telepathic powers to see what was going on in your mind, only to see anger and rage, with the amplifier of it being the mask. Now, I can see that you have come back to your senses and the mask’s hold is temporarily broken” added Hulgon’s female friend.

The shock from hearing Burosa and Sterok’s conversation combined with a lot of the true Seihu left in him caused Seihu to break free of Burosa’s hold on him.

“But how did you guys know I would come here?” asked Seihu to the former Steltian champion.

“Let’s just say my friends weren’t as helpless as you thought they were” explained Hulgon. “They monitored you ever since your first match. They and I are part of a group with members that as one member puts it, makes me seem like a cuddly Ussal crab.”

“We went undercover to look into the underground fighting matches. I went under the guise of making a comeback. These shady types of events are just what you’d expect from my home country and others like it. I used to be grafted into them myself and the champion several years back until I met someone who not only beat me, but set me straight and helped get me out”, explained Hulgon. ”I was also interested to hear of a Matoran being in one of those fights. I have heard of Matoran being set up and killed in these types of sports, but never once was one of them set up who became an underground legend like you.”

“I’m surprised that for a Matoran, especially with a good moral compass, you were active in places like that” remarked one of Hulgon’s friends shaking his head.

“I couldn’t believe what I was set up for myself” grumbled Seihu shaking his head.

“You should consider yourself lucky that both you and Hulgon are still alive”, Naho cautioned.

“I have to admit, for a Matoran, he fought me in a way that surpassed even my toughest opponents, I never had bruises like that before,” chuckled Hulgon.

“You should be thankful that there were also 2 other Toa that Lhikan recruited watching over you throughout that time, Seihu,” said The Duji.

Seihu was moved that Lhikan cared that much.

“But Lhikan, how did you know?” asked Seihu again.

“One day a messenger from them told us about Burosa and Sterok’s scheme and about you a few months ago.” Lhikan explained while pointing to the Carigi. ”It also told us of the arrival of Hulgon and his company and we all met at the Great Temple to discuss it. They knew about Burosa and Sterok as well.”

“They have gotten every type of being to take part in their fast money making strategies in attempts to monopolize anything, including some of my brothers from my home country. It took a beating given by one of my seniors for them to get a clue.” Hulgon recalled.

“I guess that much shows how many friends they have made.” Seihu sarcastically remarked crossing his arms and looking to his side.

“So, what do we do now?” Seihu asked while looking back at them.

“You go back in the final competition and meet them where they are.” said Lhikan.

“But the final tournament is in 3 months in the Canyon of Unending Whispers. How can I train properly in that short amount of time?” said Seihu.

“We have connections to allow you to train” advised Hulgon.

“And I will help train you, this time the right way” added Lhikan.

“Yeah, but what do I do now?” asked Seihu “I just ran from Burosa and Sterok right now and they would come looking for me”

“Don’t worry Seihu, my friends injected a sleep serum into them so they would be asleep for the next few months“, said Hulgon.

“Three months?” Seihu replied, “That’s quite a serum.”

“Indeed. Now, let’s discuss the plan” commanded Lhikan.

The Toa, Seihu, and others huddled up and discussed a counter plan…

Chapter 19[]

Seihu rode on the Kewa’s back to the Po-Metru after training with the Toa Mangai, Hulgon and members of his team, and with some of his Rahi.

“Thanks boy. You can return back to Lhikan for more instruction.” Seihu said.

The Kewa bowed its head and immediately flew away.

Seihu gulped as he looked at and put the red and black mask on and walked back to the hut and met up with Burosa and Sterok. This time the mask was a replica made from an empty Kanoka disk by Vakama by request.

Yet, it still didn’t change how corrupt and sick Seihu felt inside from wearing a mask that resembled the one that set him up for almost killing a fighter.

Burosa and Sterok were pacing around Po-Metru half an hour after the sleep serum wore off. They paced until they saw Seihu.

“Where have you been?” impatiently inquired Burosa.

“I was taking a jog before the big event. It’s today, right?” asked Seihu.

“Yes, your defining moment to the road of heroism” Burosa reminded. “Now, hurry up and let’s go to the final test for Toa-dom.”

In a small field in the Canyon of Unending Whispers; beings like Dark Hunters, Steltians, Vortixx, and Skakdi were all in the audience watching the event.

This fight was advertised in a way that brought almost all the Matoran Universe species together.

The head of the Dark Hunters, The Shadowed One, was even watching from the Balcony, along with his slender, tall, and dark blue-green figure assistant, Lariska; and his bodyguard, Sentrahk.

“This event had better be good for us to be here and give 3 of our hunters. Burosa and Sterok’s champion had better deliver” muttered the Shadowed One.

“If not, I know how to deal with them” assured Lariska while twirling her knives.

“This is going to be the grandest fight of them all, creatures. Are you ready?” yelled the Announcer.

Seihu was getting ready to fight each of the 3 dark hunters.

“This is it, Lightstrike, your big chance to prove yourself worthy” declared Burosa. “Screw this up, and there will never be any chance for you to be a hero. Don’t play around” chided Burosa in the same breath and he walked away.

“I don’t play, unlike you two” smiled Seihu under his breath.

The crowd yelled and cheered energetically, with a lot of fists pumping, and bodies jumping.

“Let’s bring out the first challenger” yelled the announcer.

The arena door opened and out of it came Charger; a mutated Kane-Ra turned Dark Hunter, snorting and huffing.

“And in this corner, defending his title for the one of the biggest matches of his life, give it up for renowned and the new legendary champion, Lightstrike”.

Seihu came out of the arena door walking with a humble but confident swagger in his walk.

The Shadowed One saw Seihu from the balcony and seethed with a bit of disappointment at the height of him.

“He really doesn’t look like much for a champion. I kind of feel sorry for getting Charger in the fight," said the Shadowed One to Lariska. "This Matoran-sized ‘champion’ is going to seal his fate.”

Seihu walked up and looked at his opponent, and knew from its appearance it was eager to fight.

“Let’s get ready to…” said the announcer before Charger swatted the him away like a fly and charged for Seihu.

Seihu quickly back flipped his way out of Charger’s path.

“This fighter is like a Kane-Ra,” thought Seihu. “So it will go down the same way as one”.

The fight was as fierce as the Rahi from which Charger was mutated from. Seihu was fighting the best he ever fought. His experience with fighting wild, dangerous and feral Rahi prepared him for this fight with Charger.

Seihu used his speed, agility, and intellect to not only distract Charger, but to bring him down and take him by the horns. He got him to keep running into walls and other solid objects.

Seihu kept this up until it was losing its breath, and in one swift move. Seihu jumped up and delivered a flying knee to its face. Charger was about to show why he was named “Charger”. He was charging towards Seihu, Seihu jumped, grabbed both of his horns and Charger kept moving towards the wall, and flipped over him until Charger hit the wall again. Charger’s legs were shaking with its face towards the wall. Before it could turn, Seihu ran up the wall, and after a jumping spin off of the wall, delivered a punch to Charger. Then as Charger tried to ram Seihu one more time, Seihu tripped Charger, and then jumped on him like a Kikanalo jumped as Seihu screamed with power.

Seihu won that fight.

The Shadowed One was taken aback by the sight and muttered as he was picking his chin.

“Charger is all brawn and no brains anyway. But that little guy’s got spunk, let’s see how he does with his next opponent” …

Chapter 20[]

After the fight with Charger, Seihu knew that he was going to have to possibly start fighting with a weapon for the next few opponents. Although he was fighting efficiently unarmed, he remembered a training session he had with the Toa during his the final week of his training.

*Flashback to the final week of training in Ko-Metru for the tournament*

At that point, Seihu succeeded in unarmed fighting and mental training with some members of Hulgon’s group; agility, acrobatics and stealth with Nidhiki; speed with Zerkai, Toa Mangai of Earth and strength training with Duji;

Seihu wore his old Miru again in the training session with a hood over him.

“How come you aren’t going to let me fight without a weapon? You saw me beat that Rahkshi with my hands and feet.” Seihu commented pointing to his arms and legs.

“Yes, and that’s commendable. But it’s rare that in a fight, an unarmed fighter goes into battle and comes out alive” said Lhikan “You see Seihu, it’s not enough to know how to dodge, parry and strike with your bare hands and feet. Sometimes, a situation calls you to extend your reach.”

“How so?” asked Seihu.

“Watch this. Iswo, if you please?” Lhikan called and walked backwards to let a Toa of Ice come forward.

Iswo, the Calix-wearing Toa Mangai of Ice walked up and made 6 blocks of ice, each as thick as a two Kanoka disks.

The some of the Toa put down two wooden blocks to balance rest the ice.

“Seihu, cut these blocks of ice as best as you can with your bare hand.” Lhikan said.

“Yes, Toa Lhikan.” Seihu obeyed while cracking his knuckles.

Seihu breathed as he closed his eyes and concentrated, then Seihu mentally pinpointed on the middle spot of the ice, Seihu prepared his attack 3 times, and then Seihu gathered enough energy and broke the blocks of ice, shattering it to pieces.

The Toa looked somewhat impressed with Seihu.

“Yeah, I did it” shrugged Seihu while shaking his wrist.

“Did you? You merely broke the blocks of ice instead of cutting them” replied Lhikan with a raised eyelid.

Seihu shook his head at that.

“Now watch” Lhikan said.

Lhikan called the Iswo back up to demonstrate.

Seihu and Lhikan moved out of the way as the Calix wearing Toa of Ice stepped forward with his sword.

Seihu quietly watched as the Toa of Ice prepared. Cool, calculated and focused, the Toa of Ice exemplified his element while holding his sword in a relaxed and ready position. In one swish of his blade, the Toa of Ice cut the ice with precision and a cut so clean and straight that it separated the block of ice into two cubes.

Seihu looked with his eyelids raised.

Iswo reassembled the ice, tucked his sword back into his sword compartment and walked back to his seat.

“But Ice is just his element” Seihu responded with eyes scrunched, “How do you expect me to…”, before Seihu finished his sentence, Lhikan cut the same type of ice with one of his Greatswords.

“…do that…” Seihu slowly gathered almost as frozen as the protodermis of the Metru.

“Okay, you got me” Seihu responded.

“You see Seihu, you are right; the body is the most necessary tool in doing work and the foundation for action. But, there are areas in which it needs to branch out.” Lhikan lectured.

“Take Iswo, for example” Lhikan said with his hand out with fingers towards the Toa of Ice.

Seihu briefly looked at the Toa of Ice before looking back at the Toa talking to him.

“He used his sword, but the sword was just an extension of his innate set of weapons: his will, focus, speed, body movement and dexterity that allowed him to perform effectively” said Lhikan.

“Ohh” Seihu mustered.

Lhikan put his hand on Seihu’s shoulder as he taught him a lesson “You see Seihu, there are those who live life relying on extensions, overlooking what’s close to them. For them, if their weapon is gone, so are they. But there is another extreme, those who feel like they can go through life without extending their reach that they will fall short when it’s time to stretch. In the same way, weapons in battle are only to be used only in situations where you can’t work with just your mere body parts alone to achieve an end. When an opponent extends their skill, you must too.”

“Besides, if you didn’t believe that, then why did you make special gloves and boots for fighting that Chain Lightning Rahkshi?” Duji playfully inquired .

Seihu had something like an epiphany moment after the Toa of Stone said that and remembered the fight with the Rahkshi.

“It’s true, the gloves and boots didn’t replace my hands and feet. It only adapted them. My mind, body and intentions were the real weapons” he thought.

Seihu simply nodded as he looked at his hands. “I understand now” he said.

“Good, now…” Lhikan holding two practice swords places one in Seihu’s hand, “…Let’s put your skills to work, its time you learned to fight with a weapon.”

Seihu got the sword and sparred with Lhikan and Iswo for hours each day until he was proficient in the sword.

Seihu also learned how to use two sticks, a staff, a bow and arrow, boomerang and a knife.

At that point, not only did Seihu become skilled with weapons, but he became even more skilled in unarmed fighting by adapting weapon moves with unarmed fighting and vice-versa. He became ambidextrous in armed and unarmed fighting.

At the last day of training, Seihu performed a display of his skills for four of the Toa Mangai, his Rahi, and members of the organization Hulgon was a part of, near a river bank in Ga-Metru.

He started off with a choreographed display of all his unarmed skills (punches, kicks, strikes, blocks, parries and footwork). Then he performed breaking techniques with bricks, and finally did unarmed sparring with members of Hulgon’s organization, including disarming and deflecting an armed opponent.

From there he transitioned to weapons by performing forms with various weapons (sword, staff, two sticks, and nunchucks), cutting wooden dummies and blocks of ice, and shooting targets with a bow and arrow. The weapons test ended with him engaging in swordplay with Lhikan and the Toa Mangai of Ice, consecutively. After managing to stalemate the two, Seihu ended with a bow to his instructors.

There was a decent amount of clapping for Seihu to know that he passed the final exam.

After the small audience left, Lhikan walked over to Seihu.

“You did well Seihu”, Lhikan commended.

“I don’t deserve all the credit, Lhikan. I just had some great instructors this time.” shrugged Seihu. “The training you put me through made my self-training seem greenhorn.”

“Well Seihu, remember what we taught you, ‘If an untrained Toa who wields a powerful sword fights a trained Toa that wields even a bamboo stick, the trained Toa will still win. A weapon will only work, if the wielder does’” lectured Lhikan.

The playback of that event faded back to Seihu’s time.

“A weapon will only work, if the wielder does” Seihu repeated in an almost trance-like fashion.

Then Seihu immediately noticed a sack in his locker.

“I don’t remember this being there.” pondered Seihu.

On it saw a note that read, “Fight well, ‘Lightstrike’” by Hulgon, Lhikan, and Naho.

Hulgon got an invisible senior member of his organization to place the sack in Seihu’s rented locker, while he was fighting Charger.

Seihu looked inside and saw two small carefully crafted boomerangs and a pair of short convertible proto-steel sticks that can each unscrew into nunchucks.

“Thank you, everyone.” whispered Seihu holding the note in appreciation.

“Now, get ready for the next fight,” yelled the announcer.

Seihu got one of the boomerangs and one of the sticks ready for his battle, and placed the stick and the boomerang on his sides.

“Only for emergencies” reminded Seihu.

Seihu ran to face his second to last opponent, Devastator…

Chapter 21[]

“In this corner, from the Dark Hunters as well, a towering mass of black and silver armor, claiming to have the strength of 5 Toa. Here’s Devastator!”

Devastator smugly walked out of the arena doors with his chin up, demanding for applause.

“In the next corner, reigning champion, give it up for Lightstrike!”

Seihu walked out of the arena doors ready to rumble, not shying away from even saluting the audience.

The fighters came to the arena. Devastator looked down at Lightstrike and chuckled a bit.

Seihu was offended by the chuckle, but made sure not to lose his cool during the fight.

“Let’s rumble.” yelled the Announcer.

Seihu got his fighting stance ready as he looked up at his opponent.

With his fist, Devastator almost smashed Seihu.

Seihu dodged the attack by back handspringing away from the descending fist.

Devastator saw that Seihu was quick. Thus Devastator used his telekinetic powers to hurl boulders at Seihu.

Seihu used his agility and acrobatics to dodge those boulders. Seihu turned the fight then into a playground with his jumps, somersaults, cartwheels, and evades.

Just as Seihu finished evading all the boulders, Devastator moved towards Seihu and performed a hook punch, but Seihu ducked and backflipped away. Seihu tried to deliver a flying kick to Devastator, only for Devastator to turn into sand; Seihu missed the Devastator and ended up gliding over him. Seihu landed on his feet and turned around, Seihu walked towards the sand, and when he saw the sand materializing, Seihu back flipped away. When Seihu slowly got back up, Devastator was about to stomp on him, but Seihu rolled away before Devastator could land even a single hit. Devastator moved in and kept on punching, kicking, and smashing as Seihu kept dodging and parrying, and vice-versa. Seihu moved back and tried to punch Devastator, only for Devastator to turn into sand again and move towards Seihu. Devastator materialized and uppercut Seihu 15 feet into the air and hit him until he fell on the ground face down and kicked him away.

“Poor Lightstrike, this isn’t going to end well for him. This reminds me of what my enemies went through while fighting me.” said Lariska.

Seihu thought as he was getting up, “He turns into sand, how I can hit the guy?”

Seihu thought back to one time when he went to a beach in Ga-Metru and saw the waves gathering the sands and solidifying it, even studying sedimentary rock formation at Ga-Metru.

“That’s it!” Seihu excitedly thought.

Seihu frantically looked around him for water only for him to see a Protodermis pipe above him. Seihu thought.

“I guess it’s time to do what Lhikan said and extend my skill set.”

Devastator was moving toward him, Seihu got back up, and decided to take Devastator by surprise. So he appeared to run for Devastator.  Devastator telekinetically threw objects at Seihu again only for Seihu to again evade them. Seihu then jumped off one of the boulders and performed a triple spin, as he did this, Devastator threw another boulder at him and Seihu kicked the boulder back at Devastator. To avoid it, Devastator turned into sand. As Seihu spun once more, he threw his boomerang hard at the Protodermis pipe above Devastator and Protodermis ran out of it like a faucet onto Devastator’s semi-sandy form. Devastator’s once sandy form turned into mud. Seihu ran towards Devastator who was trying his hardest to fight. Seihu took the opportunity and placed a lot of strikes, and ended with a punch.

Devastator was in a mud state and couldn’t return. Devastator lost the fight.

“Well played, Lightstrike” mumbled the pile of mud that was Devastator.

“Winner! Lightstrike!” yelled the Announcer.

Burosa smiled again mischievously.

Seihu had one more match and this one was going to be the focal point.

But, The Shadowed One decided to have a chat with Seihu before that event…

Chapter 22[]

Seihu was getting ready for the final match…with Gladiator.

Just then, Seihu’s sharpened mental skills allowed him to sense a dark presence as he was in a hallway towards his locker. A dagger was being thrown at him and Seihu moved out of the way.  The dagger stabbed the floor and attached to the dagger was a note. Seihu’s head tilted in curiosity and he walked up to the dagger, picked it up and it read.

“If you are alive to read this, my master wants to have a word with you in the balcony.”

“Wow, fan mail already”, jokingly remarked Seihu as he picked up the note.

Seihu went up to the balcony and got acquainted with The Shadowed One and Lariska.

“I see that you got the message my servant sent you.” said The Shadowed One pointing to Lariska. “I was worried that you would have died before you read it”.

Seihu could sense the coldness and darkness from The Shadowed One

“I don’t recall receiving welcome notes by a dagger, so I admire your creativity. And you are?” asked Seihu.

“You can call me The Shadowed One” said The Shadowed One. “What about you”?

“Lightstrike”, introduced Seihu.

“Catchy name, it seems that there is a bigger stature to you than what I saw. I was wary about entering some of my best fighters on you. I was too concerned that they would appear too challenging for you. But it seems that it is the other way around…”

“I see” said Seihu.

“What led you to get involved in these fighting matches?” asked The Shadowed One.

“Normally I travel a lot, trying to find myself” said Seihu.

“Hmm, I would be rich for every time I heard that from potential recruits.” said The Shadowed One twiddling his fingers.

“Listen, I normally don’t draft mere Matoran on the spot. But I want you to consider the following. You have great skills; skills that can make you earn a living. You can be as good a fighter as a Toa. I could provide a real home for you, more than your managers or anyone else can offer. Just consider that, there will be a place for you, as long as you survive the final match, otherwise the only place for you is under the Silver Sea.”

“You have quite the way with words, Shadowed One.” Seihu said with a smirk. “But that sword cuts both ways, you had better be more concerned for the last opponent.”

“Ahh yes, brash fellow aren’t you”, remarked The Shadowed One. “Get ready for your next match, it should be good and do not forget my offer.”

Seihu simply bowed in feigned respect as he left to go back to his locker.

“I’m not having that” quietly muttered Seihu as went to his locker.

Lariska asked, “You are not really going to get that Matoran in the hunters, are you?”

The Shadowed One responded, “We’ll just wait until he can survive his final opponent…”

Chapter 23[]

“This guy should be quite the challenge. I better arm myself a little more if things get ugly” Seihu thinking as he got the second protosteel convertible stick from his sack.

The moment Lightstrike was announced after Gladiator, Seihu went out with his arsenal tucked into his belt.

As Seihu approached his final opponent in the Canyon, he looked up and thought.

“And Great Pits of Ta-Metru, is that ugly.” He thought.

Gladiator looked like a tank, a tank with claws, red eyes and a hunger and thirst for battle that when he was in Stelt, he was known as a regular customer in all-you-can-beat buffets before the Dark Hunters hired him.

As soon as the gong banged, Seihu got ready to fight his opponent.

As Seihu got his fighting stance ready, Gladiator lunged at him with its claws. Seihu dodged Gladiator’s attacks by ducking and parrying. But Seihu also responded with multiple kicks to Gladiator.

Gladiator grabbed Seihu’s leg when he delivered a jump kick, and threw Seihu. Seihu got back up, but Gladiator kept lunging at Seihu with its multiple claws, Seihu kept on evading and kicking Gladiator’s claws away.

What caught Seihu the most was his challenger’s maneuverability in addition to its strength. Seihu caught that as he tried to sweep Gladiators leg, it jumped and spun over Seihu and delivered a kick to him that sent him flying. It then pinned Seihu to the floor and tried to claw Seihu. But Seihu responded by smacking its legs causing Gladiator to loosen his grip, enabling Seihu to roll away. Seihu got back up, but so did Gladiator.

Seihu retaliated, “Enough of this, Time to even out the odds”.

With that said, Seihu brought out his two Proto-steel sticks that he tucked into his belt.

The audience awed at the sight.

“Whoa, looks like Lightstrike decided not to come empty handed, but is he going to leave that way?” asked the Announcer.

“This is for those who helped train me through all of this” thought Seihu.

After a deep breath, Seihu slowly but carefully moved towards his opponent.

The sight was crazy; the two opponents were going at it, claws versus sticks. The amount of swishing and clanging sounds combined with some footwork and gymnastic moves was enough to cause the audience stay in their seat. It was almost musical.

Combined with a few acrobatics to dodge some of Gladiator’s many blows, Seihu was on equal footing with Gladiator. Seihu needed to draw on everything he had to survive. Seihu then resorted the placing one of his sticks in his pocket and unscrewing the other one turning it into nunchucks.

Gladiator tried to slice Seihu, But Seihu ducked and hit Gladiator’s arm with his nunchucks. Seihu then twirled the nunchucks around and stood in a whip ready position.

Seihu’s eyes tightened with intensity at his opponent, and Gladiator frowned the same way.

As Gladiator lunged forward, Seihu kept whipping Gladiator with his nunchucks. Seihu went as far as to even allow Gladiator to try to stab him. As Gladiator attempted, Seihu caught Gladiator’s arm with his nunchucks, pulled his arm down, flipped over it and delivering an Axe kick to his left clawed arm, which bent all three blades of the claws. Seihu delivered a back kick to Gladiator’s belly. Seihu blocked Gladiator’s right arm with his spare stick as he switched weapons. He kept hitting Gladiator with his nunchucks as it tried to fight back. Gladiator was trying to stand up and finish the fight, only for Seihu to jump up and run across Gladiator’s arm like a Silver Chute Spider running up a cable and deliver a finishing kick to Gladiator.

The match was over and only one was left standing…Lightstrike aka Seihu

“We have a winner!” cried the Announcer.

The crowd cheered loudly.

Burosa and Sterok were laughing in delight over the victory of their champion.

But that wasn’t the end…

Chapter 24[]

“Congratulations Lightstrike, you won the fight. As promised the Grand Prize is a place with the Dark Hunters.” the Announcer

“Gasp…I never would have guessed” sarcastically thought Seihu.

“What do you have to say?” asked the Announcer.

The Phase Dragon heard this and went to Naho roaring and muttering.

Naho said, “Seihu is making the announcement”

“Good, now let’s move” said Zerkai, the Zerkai.

“I would like to take time to thank the managers” Seihu said before shifting the tone “…who deliberately set me up and lied to me about this being a Toa training program and used me as a key for making money and taking over the Dark Hunters, going as far as to recruit me to assassinate their leader!” Seihu pointed to Burosa and Sterok.

“Let’s give a hand for my intelligent managers behind this, Burosa and Sterok!” yelled Seihu as he clapped loudly and sarcastically.

The audience gasped.

Burosa and Sterok glanced at each other with a look of a mix of disbelief, guilt and fear, because they were caught by Seihu, and looked across at the Shadowed One.

The Shadowed One was fuming as he turned his icy hot gaze towards Burosa and Sterok, with Lariska and Sentrahk following.

“Also, I will not take part in these games anymore. Endangering the lives of many for short lived victories and money is not my life. No longer will I allow myself to be set up for even the prize that is offered. ” Seihu yelled. “That is the difference between a warrior and murderer.”

Sterok asked, “Should we start running now?”

Burosa slapped him upside the head and yelled “Move!” as they tried to run.

As Seihu ran for them, he was antagonized by Hordika Dragons and 8 arena fighters, which were sent by the duo as a distraction. However the ten Toa who watched over him came in and evened the odds.

“Lightstrike, we got you” Zerkai said while brandishing his weapon.

“We’ll even out the odds to clear your path” said another Toa.

“What took you guys so long?” Seihu asked with a smile.

“We just wanted to make our appearance look good” a Toa joked.

Then a few arena fighters stepped forward to Seihu, Seihu had his guard up with adrenaline to fight flowing through him like the Protodermis Falls through Ga-Metru.

Then the fighters turned around to help the Toa and fought the Hordika Dragons and other fighters.

Seihu eased his guard down a bit and shifted his eyes left and right puzzled.

One of the fighters looked back and charged, “What are you standing around for? Get Burosa and Sterok, and leave this to us!”

Seihu uttered and nodded, “Huh…oh”, then he ran to go face off against Burosa and Sterok

As Burosa and Sterok left the Canyon, Naho and Iswo made an ice puddle that caused Sterok to slip and fall, and a wave of fire coming from Lhikan’s swords, halted Burosa. Lhikan, the Toa Mangai of Ice, Naho and a few members of the Order showed up.

“Uh oh” Sterok complained.

“I thought I would find you two here again.” said Lhikan with one of his swords rested on his shoulder and another pointing at them.

“You were behind this plan, weren’t you Lhikan?” muttered Burosa.

“Not only them, but…” Seihu commented as he somersaulted over them from behind and then kicked them with both of his feet. “Me too”.

Burosa and Sterok fell after that hit.

“Nice kick” replied the one of the Toa.

The Zerkai, some arena fighters and some Guardian Toa came out with the pummeled Hordika Dragons on leashes.

“Burosa and Sterok, by the will of the city of Metru Nui and Mata Nui himself, you leave this city now or you will be forced out”, threatened Lhikan.

Burosa knew they had to leave, so he got Sterok and grudgingly left.

Seihu walked up to Lhikan after seeing Burosa and Sterok being escorted away by Hulgon and The Zerkai.

“Lhikan, once again, I’m sorry for all of this mess, I should have known that they were what they were.” Seihu apologized, “What can I do to make things right?”

“There wasn’t too much damage done, but Turaga Dume and I’ll come up with something for you.” said Lhikan.

Seihu nodded with a grim but cooperative expression.

“But you did well, Seihu. I’m proud of you for coming to your senses and doing what was right. Mata Nui would be proud”, lauded Lhikan as he put his hand on Seihu’s shoulder, “Now let’s go home.”

Seihu smiled as he heard that.

The four arena fighters approached Seihu and the others;

“Wait!” cried out one fighter.

Seihu was getting in the fighting position.

“My whole life has been about fighting. When I was recruited by Burosa and Sterok, years back, they said I would fight for my home town which was damaged in a war, but I ended up losing more than just my arm, I lost my friends and honor.” One fighter confessed.

“I’m also a result of their experiments. I’m a Hordika because of them, and my own home shunned me” said a native of Xia.

“I remember what it was like to have honor like yours.” said another Steltian to Seihu.

“We also want out too. These years of fighting were an addiction to a lost cause.” requested the fourth fighter.

Seihu scrunched his eyes “Uhh…Okay”.

Hulgon walked up to Seihu, and put his hand on Seihu’s shoulder. Seihu looked behind him at the former champion.

“They are telling the truth” reassured Hulgon.

“How can you tell?” asked Seihu.

“I see it in their eyes, and I learned how to spot a liar.” reassured Hulgon. “They need our help.”

“Okay, if you guys are serious, then we will help you” said Seihu…

In another region, as Burosa and Sterok were getting their bags and leaving for new island in the Matoran Universe, they were hit with a stun dart by Lariska and brought to Odina, the lair of The Shadowed One.

Burosa and Sterok were upset about how they got caught.

“So, what was it about you assassinating me again?” inquired The Shadowed One twirling with his staff.

“Uhh…” droned Sterok.

Burosa trying to make an excuse, “Technically, it was Lightstrike who volunteered.”

“No, he was a naïve pawn in your schemes” calmly retorted Lariska with intimidation in her voice.

“Besides, as spectacular as his skills are, he is still small fry compared to the Toa and you two,” added the Shadowed One.

“Sentrahk, take them to the dungeon…” ordered The Shadowed One.

Sentrahk dragged Burosa and Sterok away.

A few days later, it was a sign their last scheme was definitely their last scheme.

“Good riddance”, smirked The Shadowed One as he thanked his bodyguard Sentrahk…

Chapter 25 (Epilogue)[]

It has been several years since Burosa and Sterok were caught by The Shadowed One and killed by Sentrahk; also the main perpetrators of the arena fights were arrested and sent to prison by members of the parent organization of Hulgon’s group.

It was also the time when the Toa/Dark Hunter had ended. Although the war was won, there have been many losses along the way; Lhikan lost 2 of his comrades to the dark side, although there are still some Toa left on his team. Despite the losses, there was still a small aroma of peace, particularly for Seihu.

Seihu has finished doing service with members of Hulgon’s organization and then daily community service in Metru Nui and wore his white Miru again.

Around that time, he was mentored by Turaga Dume on Metru Nui.

“Seihu, you should not focus on whether you belong in Ta-Metru, Ga-Metru, Le-Metru, Ko-Metru, Po-Metru or Onu-Metru. As long as you are a Matoran, your role here is the same as everyone else.” Dume taught.

“I know, but I want to be a hero for this city. I want it to be safe; I love this city, Turaga Dume.” said Seihu

But Dume replied “Being a hero is not about how many battles you take part in or whether you are a Toa, but how you serve your fellow Matoran wherever you are.”

Those words stuck with Seihu the most.

Seihu also reunited with his old Matoran friends and received new matoran friends from all over Metru Nui. These Matoran helped Seihu find truly find his place among the Matoran, and provided him with the friendship, accountability, and mentorship that he needed.

They helped reinforce in him the first virtue: Unity.

Seihu also continued to train with several Toa over the years, along with a group of diminutive creatures known as the Rahaga, who taught him not only how to hunt Rahi, but also tame them.

One day the Toa along with Turaga Dume approached Seihu “Seihu, Hulgon and us arranged something for you”, said Toa Lhikan.

The Toa of Stone gave Seihu a box that was as big as three stacked Kanoka disks.

Seihu opened it and in it was a note above some special foam that was covering a seemingly metallic object.

“Read the note” said the Toa of Stone.

“For coming to the truth and using it to bring the dark activities of Burosa, Sterok and the Dark Hunters to the light. On behalf of Hulgon’s friends, and the Toa Mangai, I present you with a gift as a token of your dedication and growth. Continue to be a Matoran of truth and honor.”

Seihu looked inside and found the a round, silver mask with a fin on it, also known as the Kanohi Rode, Mask of Truth.

“Mata Nui, this is amazing”, gasped Seihu trying to hold back tears but failing.  “Thank you everyone.”

“Well, what are you waiting for? Put on your new mask!” a Toa excitedly ordered

Seihu took off his old Kanohi Miru and put on the Kanohi Rode. On the surface this seemed to be exchanging one Kanohi for another, but deep down, it was a sign of Seihu’s journey to leadership and maturity.

Seihu was also rewarded with a small abandoned school in Ga-Metru to make into his home. Seihu’s years of mentorship and training convinced him to plan on sharing his newly acquired wisdom to others, resulting in him creating a new style of fighting, “Mata-TaeKworu Zhex” also known as "The Way of the Honorable Mata Fist".

“I have called this fighting style Mata-Taekworu Zhex, named and taught in honor of Mata Nui. This will be more than just mere fighting. It will be one that demonstrates the value of honor. Through honor, it will allow us to demonstrate fairness towards others in unity, allow us to perform our duties with integrity and hard work, and allows us to achieve prepare ourselves for our destiny. Honor in my personal experience, came from learning the three virtues“, Seihu wrote in his journal.

This was the beginning of the next chapter to Seihu’s life…

Book II[]

Chapter 1[]

After the deaths of Burosa and Sterok, four of their former Rahkshi hidden in the Onu-Metru Archives woke up. They communicated with each other in their native tongue. “Now that Burosa and Sterok are gone, we are free” A Rahkshi of Laser Vision said blissfully. “Yes, no longer will I be a test Brakas for them”, A Rahkshi of Shapeshifting declared,” Now, we can be free under my command” “Hold on, your command?!” A Rahkshi of Heat Vision yelled “I didn’t get free to be a slave again. I work under no one” “And how did that work for you?” A Rahkshi of Shapeshifting laughed. “The same way that it worked for you” The Rahkshi of Heat Vision sharply recoiled. The Rahkshi of Shapeshifting and Rahkshi of Heat Vision glared at each other and then lunged at and fought against each other. The Rahkshi of Heat Vision jumped in and shot the ground between them yelled, “Enough you two! I’ll be the leader” The two Rahkshi sneered and fought the Rahkshi of Laser Vision as well. The Rahkshi got so barbaric that the noise was disturbing the Rahkshi of Chameleon to the point that it rose up. “Enough!” The other Rahkshi of Camouflage entered while its body shifted colors, “I got an idea for who becomes the leader, let’s play a game in Metru Nui!” The Rahkshi looked at the Rahkshi of Camouflage in suspicion and then each other in question.

Chapter 2[]

In the quiet and peaceful district of Ga-Metru, Seihu finished building his home.

Seihu’s current house used to be a tiny hut-sized abandoned school in Ga-Metru rewarded to him for exposing the schemes of Burosa and Sterok, and through his service in Metru Nui. He turned the abandoned school into his home and training place. It was somewhat compact and not overly decorated, but a perfect for concentration and training.

Seihu brought almost everything from his travels to his new home. His mechanical training dummies, his notes from his school at Ga-Metru and from his years of studies at Ko-Metru, miscellaneous tools from the other Metru, tools given to him by his mentors, and even his old white Miru as a memento of his past and a replica of his old mask from his days as an underground fighter.

It was also the place where Seihu kept some Rahi as pets, including a Kewa, Mahi, Ussal, a Metru Mantis, Phase Dragon, and a Carigi. Seihu grew to the point where he can even tame a few Rahi, in addition to fighting vicious ones.

For several days, Seihu trained privately in his home. But on other days, he got called to actively serve in several Metru.

The one day, Seihu woke up, put a pair of his boomerangs and his Protosteel sticks in his backpack, and went outside for a jog, when he heard a cry for help.

“Stop, thief” yelled a Matoran lying on the floor holding his arm.

Seihu ran to the Matoran to help him up.

“What is going on?” Seihu asked.

The Matoran pointed to the thief.

Seihu looked and saw a greenish-gold, blue, and black Matoran with a yellow and black sinister-looking Pakari running out of the Great Temple with a sack.

Seihu was surprised and disturbed over a Matoran stealing from it.

“Looks like I decided to jog for a reason” Seihu said.

Seihu ran after that Matoran as hard as he could, but the Matoran he was after seemed too fast.

The sight brought so much attention that Toa Lhikan saw it too and decided to investigate. He got on his Lava-board and went after them.

While running, Seihu dug out his boomerang from his backpack.

In one swift throw, Seihu’s boomerang knocked the sack away from the Matoran’s hand. Before the Matoran could go back and get it, Seihu jumped and got the bag and placed it in his backpack. The Matoran angrily looked back at Seihu and walked in a confrontational way towards him. “Fellow Matoran, why are you doing this?” Seihu questioned with slight anger in his tone. The Matoran didn’t respond and went to fight Seihu. It seemed the Matoran wanted to speak through its fists rather than his words. The Matoran unleashed a wave of punches and strikes, Seihu dodged the strikes and blows, he didn’t want to strike a fellow Matoran but he knew that he had to help with some justice. In the 15 second fight, Seihu beat that Matoran. “Now tell me, why are you doing this?” Seihu asked again.

The Matoran got angrier as he got up, and cracked his neck from side to side too foreign for a Matoran to move their neck. Seihu was confused and troubled by the sight, What was the deal with this Matoran, if it really was one? “Who are you?” Seihu asked in a calm but suspicious way. The Matoran crossed his arms, bended his appearance and revealed who he or it truly was, a blue and gold Rahkshi, known as the Rahkshi of Shapeshifting.

“I should have known”, Seihu replied before getting into a fighting stance, yet Seihu was not surprised by this occurrence.

The Rahkshi materialized its staff and aggressively moved towards Seihu…

Chapter 3[]

The Rahkshi was swinging and making jabbing movements with its staff at Seihu. Seihu kept ducking and evading the attacks. After flipping away from a swing from the Rahkshi’s staff, Seihu whipped out his Protosteel sticks from his backpack to make the fight fairer.

Seihu and the Rahkshi scuffled for what seemed to be 15 seconds. When the Rahkshi was running its staff to Seihu’s head, Seihu moved his head away, and caught the head of the staff between his sticks in a scissor-like capture, then twisted the Rahkshi’s staff away from it.

He put his sticks back into his backpack briefly because he disarmed his opponent. Although weakened, the Rahkshi struck with his fists and kicks. Seihu blocked and evaded them, and delivered a few attacks of his own until the Rahkshi suit was destroyed, prompting the Kraata to leave.

After that, Seihu saw something flying at him from the corner of his eye; a Rahkshi of Heat Vision was flying in from the sky and it was arriving quick enough to try to run Seihu over.

This prompted Seihu to glide to the other side to avoid the collision, with the only thing that hit Seihu was the wind displaced from the speeding Rahkshi.

Seihu breathed heavily as he saw the Rahkshi move past him, thankful that he missed him.

The Rahkshi stopped and placed both its feet on the ground and turned towards Seihu, and got his staff out.

The Rahkshi fired its beams at Seihu, but Seihu kept dodging.

“What did I get myself into?” thought Seihu…

Chapter 4[]

The Rahkshi kept firing its heat vision, and Seihu kept dodging. Just as the Rahkshi was about to fire at Seihu, Toa Lhikan came in and used his mask power to shield Seihu from the heat blasts.

“Toa Lhikan!” Seihu exclaimed.

“Seihu, go, I’ll deal with the Rahkshi” Lhikan ordered.

Seihu nodded and ran for the Great Temple.

Around that time, Lhikan defeated the Rahkshi of Heat Vision after a short battle.

Seihu was running back to the Great Temple before he came across the Rahkshi of Laser Vision.

Seihu got exasperated.

“Oh, Mata Nui, not again”, Seihu asked, “Where are these Rahkshi all coming from?”

Seihu tried to shield himself with his sticks. Just as the Rahkshi fired the laser beams, Seihu’s sticks glowed and blocked the blasts. Seihu opened his eyes and was amazed by what he saw. The Rahkshi kept firing, but Seihu blocked the blasts with his sticks, then turned away and quickly converted them to nunchuck mode.

As he moved forward, Seihu deflected the lasers. Then Seihu tangled one of his nunchucks around the Rahkshi’s staff and knocked out the Rahkshi’s staff with the other nunchuck. Seihu finished off with his nunchucks and a punch that destroyed the Rahkshi suit and the Kraata in it. This punch was unlike his last one; as Seihu clenched his fist hard, his fist lit up almost like it was on fire, and in one punch he destroyed the Rahkshi suit.

Seihu stood motionless for a moment, with his mouth and eyes open.

All Seihu could put together was “WOW, the power came from inside me…” as he looked at his fist, then he shrugged it off as he went to the Great Temple.

Seihu didn’t know this but he was being watched by the Rahkshi of Camouflage.

Seihu went inside the Great Temple to return this artifact. Seihu opened the sack out of curiosity and saw a translucent white glowing stone.

“What does the Rahkshi want with this stone anyway?” Seihu pondered.

Whatever the reason was, if it had to steal that stone from the Great Temple, then it was a big deal.

Seihu was searching for a place to put the stone back when he saw a mechanism in the middle of the Great Temple, the Suva. Seihu walked towards the Suva and placed the stone inside a slot in the Suva.

Just then, the Rahkshi of Camouflage emerged from the shadows and landed in front of Seihu. Seihu got fighting ready as the Rahkshi moved in to fight Seihu. Seihu knew that if he didn’t do something, the Rahkshi would steal from it again. Seihu fought the Rahkshi actively.

Immediately, Seihu heard a rumbling and ratcheting sound coming from the Suva.

Seihu was worried, but he didn’t think to leave for fear that the Rahkshi were to cause more damage to the Great Temple. So Seihu kept fighting. Just then, a surge of energy from the Suva shot Seihu in the back causing him to scream in voice-breaking agony and fall face down on the floor of the Great Temple…

Chapter 5[]

Seihu was lying on the ground motionless, then the Rahkshi threw him to the side. It turned to the Suva. Just when it was about to approach the Suva, Seihu’s pet Phase Dragon, who followed him in the chase, ran up to that Rahkshi and tackled it to the ground to protect Seihu. The Rahkshi threw the Phase Dragon away and kicked it down. Slowly, Seihu got up and realized the Rahkshi was about to destroy his pet. Seihu ran towards that Rahkshi and with such a newfound strength, he punched it away from the Phase Dragon.

Seihu ran for his Phase Dragon.

“Hey, are you alright?” Seihu asked, “Hang in there, boy.”

The Phase Dragon seemed a bit frightened by Seihu. Seihu was confused by this.

“What’s wrong?” Seihu wondered. “It’s me, Seihu.”

Just then, Seihu realized that he felt somewhat different.

“What happened? How did I get bigger? And what’s with my voice and body?” Seihu asked taking note of his taller and stronger body and deepened voice.

The Rahkshi didn’t want to let Seihu find answers and moved in for the kill. Seihu blocked a strike from the Rahkshi and did a jab and a palm strike infused with light to it that destroyed the suit and the Kraata in it.

“There is that power again, it’s stronger than ever,” thought Seihu. “What is this?”

Seihu went out and looked at himself on a reflective surface and he nearly jumped at what he saw…

“Is this really me?” wondered Seihu, “A Toa?!”

Seihu also noticed that his armor was white and gold. Suddenly, Seihu felt the strange need to change the color of his armor. This was a trick he learned from the organization that Hulgon is a part of.

Seihu then closed his eyes and clenched his fists. Using his willpower, he bent the light in a way that he got his colors to resemble those of his Matoran self, mostly white and black. However, his mask, breastplate, shoulder and thigh armor were as silver as Protodermis.

Seihu looked at his body and thought, “Amazing, I can change the colors of my appearance too.”

Just then, the Phase Dragon recognized Seihu more and playfully tackled him to the ground. Seihu laughed, “I’m glad you recognize me again, now wait for me outside”

Just then, Seihu heard a grinding and elevating noise come out of the Suva. Seihu walked over to the Suva with caution. “Stay Here.” He said to his Phase Dragon. Smoke and light emerged from the center of the Suva as something was coming up from the center. A sword levitated from it. The sword had a two-handed hilt, with what seemed like hooks on each side of the crossbar, and a semi-curved blade.

Seihu gazed in awe.

The sword flew toward Seihu. As he stepped back, the sword stabbed the ground in front of Seihu.

Puzzled, Seihu walked over to the sword.

The moment when Seihu picked up the sword, it glowed briefly as an indicator of Seihu being its new rightful owner. Seihu noticed a small shell on his back and placed the flat edge of his blade on it before it teleported in it. Startled by the disappearance of the sword, he thought about how to get his sword back. In that moment, he felt the sword reappear from his shell and picked it up. Once Seihu found out it was a place to store his weapons, he not only placed the sword in the shell, but he also took his newly transformed boomerangs and proto-steel convertible sticks and teleported them into his shell.

Wanting to know the meaning of this transformation to Turaga Dume’s home quarters to tell him what happened.

--- Turaga Dume asked him, “Are you are aware that you can no longer live your Matoran life anymore because of this transformation?”

“I understand, Turaga Dume,” said Seihu as he put his head down.

“But, now that you have become a Toa, you have a responsibility to guard Metru Nui.” Turaga Dume added.

Seihu said, “Yes, Turaga Dume”.

“Go find the other Toa; they may help you,” Dume advised.

Seihu kneeled and bowed to Turaga Dume and left Dume’s quarters.

Chapter 6[]

After talking to Dume, Seihu kept going in what would be a Déjà vu moment for him, he was used to traveling all through Metru Nui to find his place since he was a Matoran, but now that he’s a Toa he is more confused. Especially since now he doesn’t have time to live the same life he lived as a Matoran. Seihu didn’t know where to begin so he started searching in the busy city of Le-Metru, especially because with Nidhiki gone, someone needed to watch it. In order to adapt to his new assignment as a Toa, Seihu patroled the city.

He was perched on top of one of the tallest buildings in the Metru. Seihu was doing a pattern where he kept turning his head from left to right, then jumping from building to building and repeating the pattern again.

Seihu looked back at the buildings he jumped from in subtle shock, for he was able to jump from higher and farther than he used to as a Matoran. However, that was not enough to take his mind off his patrol.

“Hmm, for a busy chute and cable jungle like Le-Metru, it seems like a slow day”, Seihu thought.

Patrol was getting tedious for Seihu, but he knew he had to do what he could for Metru Nui.

Seihu left Le-Metru for another Metru, and then for another one until he ended up at Ta-Metru.

“Although the Toa and Dark Hunter war is over, I’m not sure if this feeling of peace will last long” …

“Something just isn’t right; everything seems quiet here in Metru Nui,” Seihu thought reclining on the balcony on a Ta-Metru building, “or is the silence not that of peace, but one when an unsuspecting Matoran walks into a Muaka trap?”

It has been a long time, and Seihu had not seen nor encountered too many threats in Metru Nui outside of a few dangerous loose Rahi that escaped the archives or lived in other Metru, and the group of Rahkshi that he encountered before and during his transformation.

Then Seihu heard a familiar voice, “There’s something about you that seems familiar, Seihu right?”

Seihu’s eyelid rose as he heard the voice. This prompted him to turn around.

“Toa Lhikan.” Seihu responded in surprise.

“It seemed like just yesterday you were a Matoran learning to fight that Rahkshi, it’s interesting seeing you now as a Toa” Lhikan chuckled.

“Yes Lhikan, I still can’t believe where I am now” Seihu replied in a somewhat deflated way.

Lhikan took note of Seihu’s crestfallen tone of voice “It seems as if you are going through your own war right now.” He asked.” What are you fighting today?”

“Lhikan, sometimes do you ever wonder if you were meant to be a Toa in the first place?” asked Seihu.

“Explain” inquired Lhikan patiently.

Seihu then recapped his chase with the Rahkshi of Shapeshifting, followed by his fight with the Rahkshi of Laser Vision and his trip to the Great Temple to return a mysterious stone, and waking up to find himself as a Toa, as well as his talk with Turaga Dume.

“That’s quite a life that you’ve lived Seihu, especially up to this point. Maybe the means were thought of as accidental, but I don’t believe that Toa happen by accident,” said Lhikan.

“Yes, but now it seems like…I don’t know…I never had much of a free life since I left those underground fighting matches and now I may never. I didn’t even start my own school yet nor have a chance to pass on anything to others.” Seihu lamented.

“I know it’s hard, Seihu”, Lhikan sympathetically responded. “I became a Toa, but I questioned my new duty along the way, especially in light of the losses I’ve had even to this day. But sometimes for those who have a calling, they must come to peace with the cost that accepting the calling has to bill them, especially if it’s for protecting the city of Metru Nui and the Matoran”

Seihu nodded his head as he heard it, “I guess the cost was priceless to you, wasn’t it?”

Lhikan said, “Even more than the cost of crafting these swords” Lhikan smiled as he brought out his Fire Greatswords.

Seihu smiled and nodded as he looked at the swords, “Okay, I believe you”.

They both laughed.

“Yeah, if it means serving and protecting the Matoran, then so be it,” Seihu declared with some hope.

Lhikan looked at his swords briefly “Do remember what I taught you while we trained you for those underground matches, especially about how you are to continue to grow your skills?”

“Even to this day, I still remember it” said Seihu.

Catching on, Seihu asked, “Are you up for a little sparring?”

“Fine by me,” Lhikan nodded.

Seihu smirked as he pulled out his sword from his back.

Just then Seihu and Lhikan went out of Ta-Metru and sparred like what they did back during Seihu’s training for the tournament…

Chapter 7[]

“You have gotten better since the last time we sparred” commended Lhikan wiping his head. “With all due respect, Toa Lhikan, you are one to talk” Seihu also wiping his head and putting his sword back. “Seihu, you’re a Toa now, just call me ‘brother’” said Lhikan putting his swords back. Seihu was taken aback and honestly asked, “Really? But how did I earn such a privilege, especially today?” “You have demonstrated, even as a Matoran, that you would grow to carry that name one day”, said Lhikan. Seihu placed rested his right fist on his chest, “I will carry that title with honor”, Seihu gathering the confidence called Lhikan, “Brother Lhikan”. Lhikan placed his hand on Seihu’s shoulder, “I’m glad to hear that, brother Seihu”. Lhikan and Seihu both took two steps back and bowed to each other.

“Keep in touch, Seihu”, Lhikan instructed, “and mind your environments at all times” “Yes, brother Lhikan”, Seihu promised.

After that,, they went their own ways.

Seihu walked through the bright but steamy environment of Ta-Metru.

“Okay, so now what?” Seihu asked himself while walking back to his home in Ga-Metru.

The next day, Seihu went to the Fountains of Wisdom to train. The serene environment made it ideal for Seihu’s training. From there, he did his forms in his signature calm but focused manner. Just as he was through training and headed back to his home, he saw a group of Ga-Matoran running, in fear. Seihu stopped one of the Ga-Matoran, “What are you running from?” The Ga-Matoran shook in fear as she uttered, “Doom Viper”. “Where is it,” Seihu asked. “At the Harbor” the Ga-Matoran pointed while shaking. Doom Viper came up at the harbor, attacking some Ga-Matoran. The six-headed beast has already destroyed many of the Matoran. However, Seihu was not going to stand by and watch this anymore.

Seihu arrived at the scene where the Doom Viper was and saw it terrorizing.

Outside of finding its next victim, The Doom Viper was not so thrilled to see Seihu.

Seihu prepared to fight the beast.

The Doom Viper fired its poisonous breath at Seihu, only for Seihu to tumble away vigorously. One of the heads then charged at Seihu, but Seihu jumped on its head and kicked the other one’s head away. The other Doom Viper head fired its breath at Seihu, only for Seihu to jump away, grab onto the other Doom Vipers neck with both hands and flip off of it. As he landed, the Doom Viper kept on charging at Seihu while he kept on dodging.

Seihu needed to find a way to distract the beast and knock it out. But how? That is when he noticed a crate above the six-headed beast, but the beast blocked an opportunity to get a decent shot.

Before the Doom Viper could fire its breath on Seihu; two of the mouths of the Doom Viper with were tangled with vines, and the other two of the Doom Viper’s mouths were rinsed with water as it tried to fire its poisonous breath.

Seihu looked to the side to see who it was. It was Verkiji, The Toa Mangai of the Green; and Naho, Toa Mangai of Water.

Naho looked at Seihu and ran to help him up, "Seihu?" Seihu nodded. Verkiji sidestepped to Seihu's direction while controlling the plant life, "Are you okay, brother?" "Yes, thanks," Seihu said while slowly standing up.

Seihu finally got up and when he saw that he had a clear shot, he threw one of his boomerangs at one of the ropes holding a long box of cargo from the ceiling of the warehouse and the crate fell on the Doom Viper, rendering it out cold.

The three Toa walked up to the defeated Doom Viper to make sure it was asleep.

“Alright, so what do we do about this one?” Seihu asked. “We must take it to the Archives” Naho suggested, “where it will not do any more damage.” Verkiji added, “Agreed”. Seihu nodded.

They shipped the defeated Doom Viper to the Archives and got a worker there to keep in a stasis tube.

While the Toa were walking, they were also talking, "Turaga Dume told us about you," Verkiji said to Seihu. "I never thought I would see you like this" "It's a long and kind of weird story" Seihu replied. “Let’s just say that a small Rahkshi fight set me up for this". "We know." Naho said, "But, now that you are a Toa, Metru Nui needs some more help now more than ever". "Especially now that the other two Toa betrayed us" Verkiji reminded. Seihu nodded grimly at that reality, "Yeah, it would have happened to me back in those arena days before I figured out whom Burosa and Sterok were". Naho and Verkiji nodded as well. Naho reassured,, “But it didn’t Seihu, and we should be thankful”. They arrived at Seihu's home. Seihu turned to them, "Anyways, thanks for the help." "It's our duty, Seihu." Verkiji told him, "Great job on responding and holding your own with that Doom Viper.” Seihu gave a light smile. "Keep in touch, Seihu" Naho told him. “Likewise,” Seihu responded with a bow. All three of them went their separate ways.

Meanwhile, a capsule-shaped vessel was making its way to Metru Nui, it is a mystery what is in it, or who is in it…

Chapter 8[]

The next day, after feeding his pets, Seihu decided to take a jog in Ga-Metru. After the jog, he decided to do some of his fighting forms near the Fountains of Wisdom.

Seihu finished his exercises and headed home when he saw a small capsule wash up on the shore. When the capsule opened, the purple gas emitted from it. Seihu walked near it, relaxed but on his guard nonetheless. “Who is visiting Metru Nui?” pondered Seihu.

Was it visiting as a harmless tourist, a criminal on the run, or an enemy to be?

Seihu will eventually find out.

Once the gas evaporated, Seihu noticed a revealed a black, blue and slightly silver Matoran behind it. The Matoran’s body was faintly different than the average Metru Nui Matoran, but he was recognizable as a Matoran nonetheless. The Matoran fell on the ground face down and Seihu rushed over to the Matoran’s aid. Seihu was a bit hesitant because he wanted to be sure it wasn’t a trick, but Seihu went with his instinct and helped him.

Hours later, the Matoran woke up in Seihu’s home, on small foam mat with his head on a pillow, body covered in a blanket. He looked up to see Seihu. “So, you are finally awake. Are you okay, traveler?” Seihu asked. The Matoran sat up and groaned with his palm on his forehead. “I’m not sure.” Seihu walked up to the Matoran with a towel dipped in cold water. “Thanks,” The Matoran said, accepting the towel. Seihu sat next to the Matoran. “Where are you from?” asked Seihu. “I wish I knew where I was from,” replied the mysterious Matoran. “Where am I?” “This is Metru Nui, particularly Ga-Metru” Seihu answered. “Metru Nui, huh?” asked the Matoran as he looked outside thoughtfully. “How long have I been here?” “You just arrived here this afternoon,” Seihu answered while wringing the towel. “That explains everything” The Matoran replied. “In time, you will get acquainted with the city and its people,” Seihu assured. “Okay, great. So, who are you?” asked the Matoran. Seihu introduced, “I am Seihu, Toa Seihu.” “Toa?” thoughtfully whispered the Matoran. “I’ll explain more to you at a later time,” Seihu replied knowing that the Matoran needs rest before receiving any more answers. “Do you at least remember your name?” asked Seihu as he was wringing out the soaked towel. “My name may be all that I know right now”, said the mysterious Matoran, “I’m Yahru”.

“I see,” said Seihu, “Be sure to get some rest, Yahru” …

Yahru looked outside one more time in question, before shrugging and going back to sleep.

Chapter 9[]

It was early morning and Seihu was training inside his home, mainly to keep watch over his Matoran guest, Yahru.

Seihu started off by training with the mechanical dummies that he made in his Matoran days, then moving on to his unarmed forms.

In the middle of that time, Yahru woke up and watched Seihu perform his moves. Yahru was fascinated by the sight. Seihu noticed that Yahru was watching and mimicking some of his moves.

“Up already?” asked Seihu “You seem energetic.” “Not as energetic as you.” Yahru commented, “What is that called?” “I was just doing some of my morning exercises,” said Seihu. “Well, while I have the energy, I would like to do some myself” Yahru suggested. Seihu was taken aback by his visitor’s request. “It’s not that easy,” Seihu responded, “If you want something easy, then this is not for you” “Please teach me” Yahru calmly demanded. “Well see,” Seihu said.

“Now like I promised, it’s time for you to get to know the city. I have made an itinerary for you last night and got some fellow Matoran to help you learn some of the basics”, Seihu said. “Then I will train you.”

Seihu handed Yahru a backpack with a map of Metru Nui with a special mark on Seihu’s home, a schedule made by Seihu himself, and a pencil and notebook. Yahru was also tasked with going to each different Metru within 6 months and was expected to learn the same skills and knowledge that Seihu learned.

Yahru may not have liked being given an itinerary, but for the sake of learning what he needed to learn he did it anyway,

“Yes, Master Seihu”, Yahru vowed as he got his backpack.

So, the routine Seihu made went as follows, first thing in the morning, Yahru and Seihu did some physical fitness like running, then Yahru went to Ga-Metru for swimming practice and for school, next he went to Onu-Metru to learn the archives and mine, then he was to go to Le-Metru for learning how to ride vehicles and perform acrobatic feats. The following day Seihu said Yahru was to go to Ko-Metru for studying scrolls and prophesies as an intern and to balance on ice poles, Po-Metru for carving and building, and Ta-Metru for helping forge tools. Yahru also did some odd jobs around Metru Nui like cleaning windows and vehicles.

After that six-month period, Seihu was meditating near the Protodermis falls when Yahru walked in panting. “So how have these past few months been?” Yahru sighed, “It was a lot of work, Seihu”. “But it was worth it wasn’t it?” “I guess, so what was the type of exercise that you were doing, if you don’t mind me asking”, Yahru asked.

Seihu thought it was time to show Yahru.

“Yahru” Seihu stood up, “Do the window wiping motion” Yahru raised his eyelid, “Excuse me?” “Do it” “Okay” Yahru proceeded to do the window wiping motion with his arms “Do it again” Seihu moved Yahru’s arms so that it was in a slightly different pose.

“Now pretend my fist is a spot on the wall.” Seihu proceeded to punch Yahru only for Yahru to use the wiping motion to swat Seihu’s fist away.

Seihu moved back, “Now show me how you used the hammer and chisel in Po-Metru,”

Yahru then did the motion of using a hammer and chisel. “Don’t use the hand used for the hammer” Seihu instructed. “Now, when my arm comes down on you, pretend like you are chiseling one of the Sculptures in the Fields.” “Chisel up!” Seihu yelled as he did a chopping motion to Yahru. Yahru used his “chisel” elbow to block Seihu’s forearm.

“Now show me how you swim” Seihu commanded. Yahru moved his arms in a swimming motion Seihu then made Yahru do it a little slower before he made clear the established motion. To the point here Yahru brought his hand down while turning his hips.

Seihu proceeded to kick Yahru, but Yahru used his swimming motions to block the kicks.

Finally, Seihu did a little combo of kicks punches and strikes as Yahru used all of those blocking motions.

Seihu walked back. “Good, let’s bow”. Seihu bowed to Yahru and vice versa. After they rose up, Seihu took note of the fascination beaming from Yahru's questioning face.

Seihu came up to Yahru and said, “we will practice more tomorrow”, He patted Yahru’s shoulder.

Yahru went back to his room and so did Seihu.

Seihu walked off whispering to himself, “He’ll get it soon”.

That was the moment Seihu officially started to train Yahru.

Chapter 10[]

The first day of training, Seihu explained his fighting style, the meaning of it, and its history to Yahru as they sat kneeling on the bamboo floor. Yahru was intrigued by Seihu’s words and absorbed the information quickly. The next day, Seihu went over the physical training with Yahru.

“Once you start with the basics, you will be able to build off of that to advance,” Seihu said. They started off with basic stretches, punches, and kicks.

Training took about an hour, but Yahru caught on to the basics in a good amount of time much to Seihu’s amazement.

“Thanks for the training, Toa Seihu” Yahru spoke in gratitude after the day’s training was complete. “It’s my pleasure, Yahru,” Seihu responded. “But you are not done yet” “But, will I be able to master this like you?” Yahru asked “We’ll see. But do not focus on getting the top level in one day, but focus on getting better than you used to be” Seihu said.” Duty done gradually will form destiny; it doesn’t happen in one day alone”. They bowed to each other.

Given that Metru Nui was in a state of peace after the Toa/Dark Hunter war, threats were more localized and least, so Seihu had time to teach Yahru. Within the times when he had to leave for missions, he got some of Hulgon’s team members stationed in Metru Nui to teach him in his absence, after Yahru went through his assigned journey to Metru Nui.

This was concurrent with Seihu’s training and missions. Seihu trained so much that it became a hobby as well as work to sharpen his Toa skills. He fought pirates, rogue trespassers, other evildoers, and even vicious Rahi including but not limited to Doom Vipers, Jaw Turtles, Catapult Scorpions and a mutated Tarakava, in Metru Nui and islands near it.

Seihu noticed that sometimes Yahru has been thrown into these fights as well in Metru Nui.

Once Yahru came across a mutated Sand Tarakava that was attacking the Matoran. Yahru put up a good fight, but the Tarakava almost finished Yahru, before Seihu intervened and beat the Tarakava.

“Are you alright, Yahru?” Seihu asked “Yeah, but I just wish I was stronger” Yahru winced. “It’s not strength that makes you fight well; it’s how you use that strength. Zeal alone is not enough.” “Okay, so now what?” “I’ll teach you more tomorrow”

As time went on, Seihu taught Yahru more complex and cerebral fighting styles. Seihu’s training imparted such skills to Yahru that Yahru was able to defend himself against threats like a small pack of Kavinika that were attacking Ga-Metru, and a Kralhi in Ko-Metru.

One day, Seihu even took Yahru to meet Lhikan and the other Toa who were mentoring him. Yahru was amazed at even the stature and virtues that the Toa held to, particularly that of Toa Lhikan. Yahru even had the honor of shaking hands with Lhikan.

This went on for several years, until 1 BCE.

Shortly before that time, Seihu promoted Yahru to a master student in Mata-Taekworu Zhex because of Yahru’s training and growth.

Although Seihu was proud of his new student, he knew that he couldn’t stay and watch over this Matoran for long.

“As much as I wish to watch over him, I must watch over the city” Seihu vowed…, “Dark times are coming.

Chapter 11[]

The next morning, Seihu was telling Yahru about what was going on. “Yahru, I’m proud of you for how far you have come. I hope my training sessions have been helpful to you. I want you to be a Matoran who is capable of taking care of himself in any situation, so you can take care of others.” “Thank you, Seihu. But why are you bringing this up now?” asked Yahru. “Yahru, you know that I’m a Toa, and because of that, this city needs me. I want you to take care of this home, now that I have to leave” said Seihu. Yahru was confused and disappointed, then he replied, “But master, I feel like I have not learned everything I needed.” “I taught you enough for now. I’m sorry Yahru, there is no more time”, Seihu declared, but I’ll be there for everyone in Metru Nui so they can be there for you when I’m called out.” Seihu was heading out of the door. “Seihu…I mean, Master Seihu…Why do you do this?” Yahru asked. Seihu glanced back puzzled. “You risk so much for the other Matoran knowing that you might not even see them again or get anything out of it as a result. Why do you do that?” “Because this is all part of the community.” “I don’t get it” Seihu had to explain it in a way Yahru would understand. “Yahru, you like to learn how vehicles work, right?” “Yes” Seihu smiled coyly, “Take those Moto-Sleds you sometimes rode when you ditched school.” Yahru shrugged. “You like racing those vehicles, but you don’t know how much goes into making them. The exhaust to frees the engine from toxic fumes, the engines supplying the power, the pedals start the vehicle, the handlebars for steering and on and on and on. To make the vehicle work, all of the parts must be cared for and maintained to work in proper order.”

Yahru looked a bit exhausted from the lecture. But Seihu tried a different approach. “Now try and stop my attack.”

Seihu struck but Yahru blocked it. “Do you see what you did, Yahru?” “I blocked your fist.” “Not just that, but take a look at how you did it” “Didn’t I do it well?” “Yes, you did, because you used your arm to block and evaded using your foot work, all of it to defend yourself.” Seihu explained more. “So, it must be for our community, we need and must look out for one another. Matoran like you and - at one point - me, are all part of one community. Therefore, as a Toa and as a member of the Matoran community, it is my duty to protect us all, even if it costs me.” Yahru paused, and Seihu continued. “Besides, if you do things to expect an award, what good is that? Even the Dark Hunters and the Rahkshi even do that, and many like you have suffered because of it.” Those words seeped into Yahru’s psyche before he finally spoke up. “Master Seihu”. Seihu turned around. Yahru reluctant, but genuinely spoke. “Whether you come back or not, I will take care of things.” “Just don’t fight too much, Yahru” Seihu warned, “be careful”.

With those words, Seihu left his home and all his Rahi to Yahru.

The week after that, Seihu arrived at Ta-Metru. He walked through the intensive but industrious hot city, when he was met by a group of Nuurakh, Vahki from Ta-Metru. “Nuurakh? What is going on?” Seihu wondered. One of the Nuurakh had their disks materializing and fired at Seihu. Seihu saw it and immediately ducked and rolled away. Seihu had a confused but tense look in his eyes, “I guess there must be something wrong with the programming”. The rest of the Vahki moved in and tried to take Seihu out with force. However, Seihu evaded the attacks and hid behind a pillar.

Immediately Seihu felt a tap on his shoulder, Seihu turned around in a fighting stance only to find Lhikan. “Lhikan…” Lhikan covered Seihu’s mouth. “We have to go” Lhikan whispered. Lhikan summoned a wave of fire that clouded the Vahki’s vision, enabling Seihu and him to make a fast escape on his Hoverboard…

Chapter 12[]

As soon as Seihu and Lhikan fled from the Nuurakh, they arrived at a Protodermis refinery plant where they discussed what has been going on. “I have a feeling that peace that we once had here in Metru Nui is coming to an end,” Seihu observed. Lhikan nodded to Seihu after looking at the exterior of the Great Furnace, “It has come to a point where my comrades have even not returned from their missions.” Seihu asked, “What kind of missions were they?” Lhikan answered, “Turaga Dume assigned missions for each of the Toa on my team, along with Kodan. They never returned.”

Seihu got concerned. “I wish I could have gone to help” Seihu lamented. “You were needed here,” Lhikan advised. Seihu then said, “Something about this seems suspect, but I’m not sure what it is.” Lhikan replied, “Dume seems kind of suspect too, as well as the Vahki.” Seihu responded grimly. “They used to simply enforce the law and protect Matoran, now I wonder how long it will be before it is the Matoran who need protection from them” Lhikan nodded softly as he looked out at Ta-Metru. “It’s not surprising that Matoran are vanishing, as well” Lhikan added. “We should investigate what is causing all of this, how does this idea work for you?” Seihu asked. “No,” Lhikan answered in a calm but firm manner. Seihu glanced puzzled at his fellow Toa. “What’s wrong, brother Lhikan?” “That’s commendable Seihu, “Lhikan replied, “but even with the both of us; it still will not be enough. Dume may be one Turaga, but he controls the whole city. I can’t call for any reinforcements from other islands but I have another idea.” “What’s the plan?” asked Seihu. Lhikan whispered the plan to Seihu. “Why must you do it alone?” asked Seihu. “I don’t want to leave this city unprotected and risk you in this task,” Lhikan answered. “But we are the only Toa left right now.” “Seihu, part of unity is sacrificing for others and including teammates, so they can grow to do the same. This is the reason I am doing this.”

Seihu sighed with his head down, “I understand, Brother Lhikan”. “In the meantime, you can still protect the Matoran, but keep on your guard. It’s not an easy when there are only two of us left for now.” Lhikan said. “Whatever you do, stay away from Turaga Dume.”

Seihu nodded, “I understand, Brother. Be safe.”

“It’s my job to worry about new Toa like you, Seihu, not the other way around,” Lhikan replied with his hand on Seihu’s shoulder.

They gave each other a fist bump before Lhikan turned his Greatswords into his hoverboard and flew to the Great Temple.

With that, Lhikan flew to the Great Temple and Seihu left Ta-Metru…

Chapter 13[]

After meeting Lhikan in Ta-Metru, Seihu left the building that he and Lhikan had their conference in.

“Lhikan said the same thing that I told Yahru.” Seihu thought. “I hope that Yahru is okay through all of this.”

The next few hours, Seihu was out patrolling the city of Metru Nui in Le-Metru. That was when he spotted a loose Rahkshi of Darkness about to pollute one of the most prominent chute systems in Metru Nui.

Even in his years, Seihu had never seen a Rahkshi like that before. It had piercing green eyes, armor in silver, black, and red, and a black tail with a silver tip.

Some of the Matoran were firing their Kanoka disks at the Rahkshi, but the Rahkshi fired at all the disks using its Halberd and struck down the Matoran.

Just when it was about to strike its halberd in the machine, Seihu jumped in from behind the Rahkshi.

Seihu questioned with arms crossed, “What are you doing here, Rahkshi?”

The Rahkshi turned around and looked angry.

“I am Draku, Rahkshi of Darkness”, The Rahkshi declared walking around pointing one end of his halberd at Seihu,” …and you, Toa, are going to wish that you never interfered with Makuta.”

Seihu was surprised at this Rahkshi. It was quite an anomaly even among the Rahkshi, it seemed more intelligent than most Rahkshi, to the point where it even spoke Matoran fluently.

“And how did I interfere?” Seihu asked. “Your existence, Toa’s existence is what interferes with Makuta,” Draku growled, “and I will put an end to you and conquer Metru Nui for Makuta”

“We’ll see” Seihu calmly but sternly countered as he pointed his sword towards the Rahkshi.

Seihu was in for one more addition to the list of the battles of his life, and his rising adrenaline was proof of that.

Draku and Seihu faced off with each other. Then in one background noise, they fought. The Rahkshi fought with its halberd in a way that involved stabbing mixed with slashing, while Seihu fought in the same composed manner he always fought. But even that did not ease the tension he felt fighting this Rahkshi.

They kept it up until Draku kicked Seihu and just when Draku was about to shoot Seihu with the spike on his halberd, Seihu used his sword to deflect the dark bolts from the Halberd, and from there bring down Draku’s Halberd and from there, kick Draku away from his weapon.

Just as Seihu walked up to Draku, Draku jumped back on his feet, hovered and delivered a surprise front kick and uppercut to Seihu.

Draku proceeded with several punches, kicks, and strikes in an unusual fury for a Rahkshi that didn’t wield its weapon. Seihu blocked and dodged most of the attacks. When Draku delivered three punches to Seihu, Seihu grabbed his punching hand on the third one, punched Draku twice and flipped him over.

Draku tumbled away and grabbed his halberd, and fired. Seihu dropped and rolled away from the blasts. As Seihu tried to stand up, Draku jumped near Seihu and roundhouse kicked him. Although Seihu blocked the kick with both his arms, the force of the kick pushed him. Draku then proceeded to cleave Seihu, but Seihu moved aside and delivered a knee strike to Draku’s chest. Then he performed three punches and two kicks to Draku and finally jettisoned Draku over the ledge.

Seihu panted “Who knew that a Rahkshi would give me this much trouble?”

Seihu then walked away to another Metru.

“First, the Vahki are corrupt? Then the other Toa Mangai disappeared? Next Matoran disappeared, and now a Rahkshi?” Seihu sighed, “Metru Nui is now going from a metropolis to a hotbed of mischief”

Chapter 14[]

After Seihu left Le-Metru, he went through the other Metru. In order to avoid being seen, Seihu stealthily moved throughout all of Metru Nui.

There was never a more crucial time to lay low as a Toa, Vahki were roaming the streets, and “Dume” seemed shifty.

In Onu-Metru, Seihu was going undercover. He hid in a cave in Onu-Metru as he witnessed an Onu-Matoran getting arrested by a Vahki for mining with a defective tool. Seihu saw it and he was appalled and in disbelief. “This is suspect indeed” thought Seihu as he was looking at the sight before hiding away. Seihu barely escaped undetected and with his life after witnessing such as sight. “I would go back to my home, but I cannot let my cover be blown,” thought Seihu. Seihu hid away to another location so that way nobody could find him.

He stopped halfway to the Coliseum when he saw the same Vahki and Matoran going there. Seihu hid from the Vahki swiftly behind the outer wall to the Coliseum. The Vahki carried that same Matoran on its shoulders and carried it to the Coliseum.

“What’s going on here?” Seihu thought. Seihu looked through a window and saw the Matoran about to be placed in a sphere-shaped pod before he heard a group of Vahki coming his way. The mechanical whirring and grinding from the Vahki was an alarm for Seihu to move away and fast to Ko-Metru.

The next moment, Seihu went to the cold city of Ko-Metru. It had a silence so eerie that is too much even for a quiet Metru. Not a silence of Ko-Matoran studying, but like a trap for a Muaka.

Wearing a hooded cloak, Seihu walked through the cold city and he could feel the snow sprinkling him. The air was so cold that it sounded like breathing, and the snowy ground crunched under Seihu’s feet.

Seihu walked alone though Ko-Metru and looked around for any suspicious activity. That is when he sensed a threat behind coming up. He heard a whoosh across from him and he sensed a blast coming to him. Seihu immediately dove and rolled on the snow.

Seihu got back on his feet and looked around to find out who or what fired at him. Next, saw at the corner of his eye, three Ko-Metru Kanoka disks heading for him. Seihu dropped, rolled, and brought out his sword. Seihu stood up and held his sword in a relaxed and ready position. Seihu eyes moved with caution from left to right and his feet shuffled against the snow. The Kanoka fired at him again, and this time Seihu fired lasers from his sword that knocked and sliced the disks away.

Seihu ran across Ko-Metru and hid in a nearby cave. While hiding there, Seihu came across a group of 5 Kralhi, failed attempts at Metru Nui law enforcement and precursors to the Vahki. The Kralhi immediately saw Seihu and went to kill him. The Kralhi fired their energy bubbles with Seihu barely running out of the cave in time. The Kralhi followed him out of the cave. They looked around for Seihu and couldn’t find him.

Unknownst to them, Seihu was on one of the stuctures overlooking them. Seihu threw his boomerang at a boulder. Once the boomerang hit the boulder and returned to Seihu, the boulder rolled and trampled on all three of them. Then using his speed, fighting skills, and power, Seihu “reversed engineered” the mechanical monsters by fighting the rest of them.

Once the Kralhi were defeated, Seihu retreated from the area near the cave.

Seihu hid behind one of the Ko-Metru stone pillars when sensed a creature or creatures gliding past him. He turned around and found that six of the Keerakh, Ko-Metru Vahki coming at him to fight.

Seihu had no idea what crime he committed but the Vahki didn’t seem to care, they wanted Seihu taken out.

Despite how corrupt they have become, Seihu didn’t want to fight. But he knew it had to come to it.

One of the Vahki jumped at Seihu, but Seihu ducked and threw the Vahki to the snowy ground.

Then three more Vahki ran for Seihu. Seihu jumped away from the Vahki and allowed them to collide with one another.

One of the Vahki ran to strike Seihu with its staff, but Seihu pushed the Vahki over his foot. Another Vahki fired a disk at Seihu only for Seihu to roll away, and in a circular motion struck the Vahki’s belly with his palm and threw it down. The final Vahki was about to fire its Kanoka disk from its mandible, but Seihu threw his Protosteel stick in its mouth, clogging the disk firing. This caused the Vahki’s head to shake rapidly before it imploded on itself.

Seihu looked at the now blown up set of parts that was the Vahki and turned around to finish the other few Vahki before they called for reinforcements.

Knowing that he should lay low, Seihu got away from Ko-Metru using the chute system.

The two mornings later, Dume called all of the Matoran to the Coliseum during an Akilini tournament to make the announcement of the year. News of this caught Seihu’s attention.

“Although something tells me that this is not good news, I’d better go there anyway”. With that said, Seihu went to the Coliseum and sneaked into the corridor of the Coliseum to remain unseen.

Chapter 15[]

“It is with deep sorrow, that I must inform you, of the disappearance of our beloved Toa Lhikan,” Dume announced to the entire Matoran population via telescreen. Seihu was shocked when he heard that. “I should have gone with him,” Seihu thought regrettably. “But with the help of the Vahki, order shall be maintained. Trust in me and soon, all your concerns will be laid to rest.” Dume declared. “Mine are waking up,” Seihu said quietly as he was walking to the corridor of the Coliseum.

Seconds later, Seihu heard something. “Someone’s coming. I better make myself scarce.” Seihu thought. Seihu looked around for any loose objects that will make noise from one careless move and evaded them quick enough to hide in a nearby maintenance room. Seihu peered open the door and found out that it wasn’t someone coming through to the corridor and into the Akilini field, but a group of six Toa: a Toa of Fire, a Toa of Water, a Toa of Air, a Toa of Ice, a Toa of Stone and a Toa of Earth, each holding a disk.

While unseen, Seihu glanced at them, and he was mesmerized. “It’s them, the new Toa.” Seihu thought. Seihu had seen each of those Toa, while they were all still Matoran, during his travels across Metru Nui. He realized that that was Lhikan’s plan all along.

Seihu went to the corridor and watched them secretly. Just then, someone came behind him. Seihu checked behind him and found Yahru behind him. Seihu’s emotions were a combination of exasperation, worry, and a little bit of anger.

Seihu whispered. “Yahru, what are you doing here? I told you to stay with the Matoran.” “Master, I couldn’t shake off the feeling that something was going wrong in this city,” Yahru said. “I couldn’t stay quiet and do nothing about it; it’s not what I’m good at.” “How did you even find me here?” “I followed you.”

Seihu held his head with his palm and shook his head, “Yahru, you are fortunate to be alive with what you have been following me through.” Seihu went back to looking through the window of the corridor to the arena.

“Good thing too, also here is what I saw” Yahru whispered.

“We will have to discuss this later…” Seihu interrupted while watching Dume put the new Toa to the test by using the rising columns in the Akilini field. Seihu was wincing at the sight of the new Toa being flipped and tossed back and forth by the moving columns until Dume put the test to a halt. “Perhaps they sought to entertain us during this dark time, or are they imposters,” Dume charged, “responsible for Lhikan’s demise?”

“Liar, Toa would never do that,” Seihu whispered.

“Exactly, Master, that’s what I’m telling you. I saw Lhikan being taken to the Canyon of Unending Whispers by a green four-legged creature and a hulking figure in blue armor.” Yahru quietly explained. “There they are!” Seihu then saw those two figures behind Dume, standing with him. Vakama was even pointing to the two sinister-looking figures behind Dume. Seihu used his mask when listening to Dume, and found out that Dume was lying. “I should have known. If Dume really believed what he said, he would be a lunatic.” Seihu uttered. “Or is this really ‘Dume’?” Seihu thought. Just then, what appeared to be a windstorm dominated the Akilini field, and the new Toa were tossed back and forth. “Yahru, Let’s go,” Seihu demanded.

They stealthily zipped their way out of the Coliseum corridor, while unknown to them, the Vahki were taking Nuju, Toa of Ice; Whenua, Toa of Earth; and Onewa, Toa of Stone; captive. “How did you know all of this Yahru?” Seihu asked. “While I was taking the Kewa for a ride, I saw Lhikan being taken by those two to Po-Metru. I hid behind some mountains in order to catch them.” Yahru explained. Seihu shook his head at Yahru’s adventure. “You ought to have stayed home”, Seihu lamented. Seihu summoned the Kewa that Yahru inherited and rode on his way here. The Kewa came to Yahru and Yahru hopped on. “Yahru, what you know is sensitive information, stay out of trouble and be careful,” Seihu ordered. “Yes, Seihu” Yahru agreed as he took off and flew back home.

“I have to admire his work ethic. He’s stubborn but hard-working. I think I taught him too well.” Seihu chuckled. Seihu heard footsteps approaching and hid from them by jumping from the end of the platform above the chute and hanging under it. Those footsteps belonged to Vakama, the Toa of Fire; Nokama, the Toa of Water; and Matau, the Toa of Air. “We’ve got to save the others,” Nokama urged. “To do that, we must find out mask powers,” Vakama said. “I agree,” Nokama replied,” but we need to get out of here” Just then Nokama jumped into the chute below, followed by Vakama and comically Matau.

Seihu sighed as he saw this. Although Seihu disdained hiding from those who he knew would be his allies, he needed to lie as low as he could.

But he also heard more footsteps, coming from the bulky blue figure whose name was Krekka and the green insectoid creature revealed to be Nidhiki, flying off of that same platform as well. So he continued to lay low until they left. Seihu with all of his might flipped from under the platform, back on it.

Seihu looked down from the platform deep in thought as to where they were going, before he decided to leave.

While Seihu departed from the Coliseum, Seihu saw his Carigi flying to him. Seihu brought out his hand and held it softly. “What is up today?” Seihu asked it.

The Carigi’s eyes shone a light green for a message instead of purple for its visions. The message was from a mysterious Turaga. “Toa, if you are alive to hear this, your student, Yahru, arranged for your Carigi to send you this message. The real Turaga Dume has been captured and sent here in the Canyon of Unending Sorrows by the Dark Hunters. Whatever you do, keep watch over the city and the new Toa. Take heed for any suspicious activity in Metru Nui.”

Just then the Carigi’s eyes went back to normal.

Seihu snapped out of it and blinked.

“Lhikan?” Seihu wistfully whispered.

Chapter 16[]

A few moments later, Seihu saw the three Toa near a stone pillar at the area where the Ko-Metru chute station was; Vakama was sitting on the ground in a contemplative fashion with the disks, Nokama and Matau in a conversation. He didn’t meet up with them, but he saw them from a distance. Just then, he saw Vakama pointed up to the sky as he talked to Nokama. Vakama exclaimed, “Look, Toa Lhikan’s spirit star.” Seihu looked up at the sky as well as curiosity and saw a gold star flying.

“As long as the star burns in the night sky, Toa Lhikan remains alive”. Vakama assured.

Nokama spoke, “It is heading towards Po-Metru”. “What about our captured Toa-Brothers?” Matau asked impatiently. “We need Toa Lhikan to stop Turaga Dume and free the other Toa.” Vakama firmly suggested. “And how do you suppose we quick-catch a spirit star?” Matau snapped again. Seeing a Vahki transport, Nokama suggested to Matau, “Perhaps a way has been revealed, rider” The two Toa went to the Vahki transport followed by Vakama.

Seihu was about to leave for Po-Metru when all of a sudden he heard an explosion. Seihu went on one of the stone pillars to see what it was. He turned to the Kanoka Research center in Ko-Metru and saw three Skakdi thieves break in and steal Kanoka disks.

The explosives were enough to set off such a noise that even the Ice Bats would freak out.

“I may not have time for this, yet they do”. Seihu sighed, “Time to get this over with”.

Seihu jumped from pillar to pillar and slid down an icy incline to catch up with them.

“That was great; we ought to do it again sometime!” One of the Skakdi giggled. “We will get to again, just like in Xia” The other Skakdi grinned.

Just when they were about to make their getaway on their jet bikes, Seihu jumped in between them and stood up, with his hands crossed. Seihu turned his face to make eye contact with them. “Those disks were not on sale,” Seihu said as his eyes darted to them.

The Skakdi in the center threatened, “Neither is your life, but we’ll take that anyway if you do not stand aside and let us have our fun”

The two other Skakdi got their weapons out as the leader said this.

Seihu shook his head in regret, for them, and turned his back. Using the snow he picked up while landing, he threw snow at all three of the Skakdi’s eyes.

Seihu threw one of his boomerangs to his side, knocking away the Skakdi’s weapons one by one. Seihu flipped over one Skakdi and kicked him in back legs and threw him at the other Skakdi. The Skakdi on the right of Seihu took off the snow from his eyes then went to punch Seihu, only for Seihu to block and connect a punch and uppercut to the Skakdi. The two other Skakdi ran to take out Seihu. Catching on, Seihu blocked and counterattacked one Skakdi, kicked the other Skakdi, and flipped the other one. All three Skakdi were in pain as they struggled to stand up and pick up their weapons.

Once the group of Skakdi picked up their weapons, Seihu got out his Protosteel sticks and stood relaxed and ready. The Skakdi proceeded with various slashing and cutting techniques with their weapons, but Seihu’s fast but focused techniques were able to allow him to deflect their attacks. Seihu then moved aside and whacked the leg and face of the side Skakdi with his sticks and hit the center Skakdi in the belly and the face. The two Skakdi fell by Seihu’s side. Seihu put one of his sticks back in his back and walked towards the remaining Skakdi who tried to run and stab at Seihu. Seihu unscrewed his stick as he evaded the slash of the Skakdi, and used his nunchucks to land a swift but sharp blow to the Skakdi.

All three Skakdi were left feeling lightheaded after the fight, pun intended.

Seihu heard some Vahki arriving, so he got a nearby net and tied the Skakdi up and ran off to Po-Metru.

The Vahki arrived on the scene and only saw the Skakdi tied up with the sack of stolen Kanoka disks next to them.

If the Vahki had emotions, they would be confused, but they brought the beaten up Skakdi in and took back the Kanoka disks.

“They may not have bought the disks, but they sure bought me some time” Seihu muttered under his breath as he caught up with a Vahki transport to Po-Metru.

By the time Seihu arrived at Po-Metru, it looked like a Kikanalo stampede occurred. Seihu went to go investigate this further.

Chapter 17[]

Seihu wondered what the source of the damage was, but he didn’t find that many leads. In the meantime, he noticed that several Po-Matoran had not reported to their shifts.

“Just as I thought, the Dume must be behind these missing Matoran and he used Dark Hunters.” Seihu muttered “By the looks of it they must have disturbed the Kikanalo’s habitat”

Seihu heard some fierce growling and heavy breathing behind him, it felt like a large but savage figure was behind him. Seihu recognized it, it was a wounded Kikanalo.

Seihu had to keep his composure and disarm the situation, using what he knew from his experience in taming Kikanalo.

Seihu walked up to the Kikanalo, took it to a nearby village in Po-Metru, took some herbs from a nearby lake and bandaged the arm of the Kikanalo.

The yelling of the Kikanalo turned into light growling as Seihu took care of it.

“You will be alright”, Seihu reassured as he petted the Kikanalo.

In the rocky district of Po-Metru, Seihu was to keep watch over three of the Toa out of the six: Vakama, Nokama, and Matau as they went to go find four more Toa: Nuju, Onewa, Whenua and Lhikan.

The morning that the three Toa went to go to the Canyon of Unending Whispers, Seihu went to go follow them. Seihu hid behind a cliff and saw that the canyon was surrounded by the Zadakh, the physically strongest type of Vahki exclusive to Po-Metru.

As Seihu peeked from beside one of the stone structures, he saw Vakama, Nokama, Matau and a Kikanalo high on a canyon, before looking back at the Vahki.

“Hundreds of Vahki versus three Toa, time to even up the odds a bit.” Seihu thought, “But how?”

Seihu needed to come up with a diversion to help clear the path for Vakama, Nokama, and Matau. Just then, Seihu had an idea.

Seihu took the initiative to go climb on a cliff and threw a rock at a nearby cliff on his bottom left to distract a few of the Vahki. The rock cracked against the cliff so loudly that six of the Vahki moved over to see what that noise was.

That is when Seihu used his elemental power to blind the Vahki. Just as the light shone in the Vahki’s eyes, Seihu knocked the Vahki’s lights out. After the job was done, Seihu was standing, but all six of the Zadakh were not.

A few more Vahki did show up. Seihu was ready to fight them before the Kikanalo Seihu helped out came out of nowhere and stomped on some of the Vahki and blew some away with its sonic roar.

Seihu walked over to the Kikanalo and petted it in an affirming fashion. “Good Kikanalo” Seihu affirmed. The Kikanalo growled in a tender way. “Now, your fellow Kikanalo need you as they fight against the dark hunters. “ The Kikanalo understood Seihu and went to go with his Kikanalo brethren to aid the Toa.

Seihu saw Vakama, Nokama, and Matau also diverting the Vahki and the Dark Hunters with the Kikanalo.

“They are more resourceful than I thought,” Seihu silently muttered with silent admiration.

The diversion was enough to buy the other three Toa enough time to deal with the rest of the Vahki and to rescue their friends from the Prison and for the Kikanalo to cover their tracks.

“Now that the Vahki are down, I’ll leave the rest to the others,” Seihu whispered.

With that said and done, Seihu walked away.

But before he did, Seihu knew something was up and could sense it.

“I have company,” Seihu thought cautiously as he felt a chill come up his spine.

Seihu was unfortunately right.

There was a figure behind him standing on a cliff. The figure looked like a nightmare with a physical body. It had 4 Kanoka disks held by hand-like structures on its back, black and purple colors, great height, and sharp claws. The figure’s name was Eliminator. He was a Dark Hunter who killed most of Lhikan’s team members and Kodan on missions organized by Dume. He also killed Dark Hunters who failed their missions.

Eliminator came back to Metru Nui to look for more Toa, with a special sight towards Seihu who stopped a Dark Hunter (later had to be executed) who was hired by Kraezukor to capturing a Matoran. Once he saw Seihu, he was ready to fire lightning bolts from his hands onto Seihu’s brain…

Chapter 18[]

Just when Eliminator charged up the Kanoka on his back and fired his lightning blasts, Seihu quickly dropped to the ground before the lightning blasts could get him, and kept rolling away from the line of fire. Eliminator jumped and was about to stomp on Seihu’s head and Seihu flipped away from Eliminator.

Seihu got back to his feet as he looked intensely to his attacker. “You are looking for a fight, Toa?” Eliminator challenged in a gritty fashion. “You’re one to talk.” Seihu replied, “Stranger.” “Well, now you have one” Eliminator charged.

Eliminator fired lightning bolts from his hands, but Seihu flipped away from the blasts and leaped from rock to rock. The lightning bolts were enough to destroy many of the rocks and to burn the ground. A lightning bolt narrowly missed Seihu but burned off part of his armor. Seihu thought, “This one uses lightning. But he makes the Rahkshi I encountered as a Matoran seem friendly”. Seihu decided to do something. Seihu got some dust from the ground and temporarily blinded Eliminator.

Seihu then hid behind a boulder to think of a tactic to find a weak spot in Eliminator. But he had to do it fast; Eliminator was going through almost all of Po-Metru for Seihu, and he had to go find Yahru and the other Matoran. Seihu remembered the four Kanoka Disks on Eliminator’s back. “If I’m guessing right, those disks may be giving him power,” Seihu pondered. “But how do I deal with this?” Seihu contemplated for almost 10 seconds until his eyes dilated in enlightenment.

“Unfortunately, for this opponent, speed and agility won’t get him far enough,” Seihu muttered.

Seihu used his light powers to make a projection of himself to distract Eliminator, a trick that he learned based on what he learned in science class as a Matoran.

Seihu yelled as he appeared from the boulder, “Hey, warrior! If that is your best shot, it’s no wonder you had to hide in order to kill me.” He hid behind the boulder and got his mirage to run as Eliminator chased it and blasted it. The mirage Seihu kept dodging until it reached a dead end at the cliff and Eliminator fired his lightning blast at it. That depleted the energy of the Kanoka disks on Eliminator’s back.

The real Seihu quietly emerged from a canyon behind Eliminator and with one swipe of his sword, Seihu sliced off Eliminator’s Kanoka disk holders from his back like a focused laser cuts metal. Leaving Eliminator disarmed from his only power source.

The sound of his Kanoka disk holders hitting the ground caught Eliminator’s attention.

Eliminator turned around and Seihu stood there as he pointed down to Eliminator’s Kanoka disk holders.

Eliminator was just shocked and inflamed to see his weapons permanently cut off from him.

“You’re dead…” Eliminator challenged baring his claws.

Seihu smiled courageously underneath his mask. It has been a while since Seihu had some decent unarmed combat action. Seihu put his sword away and got ready to fight it out with Eliminator.

“We’ll see” Seihu replied while he got into his fighting stance.

Eliminator kept lunging at Seihu with agile strikes, slashes, and punches, but Seihu kept on dodging and blocking them. Eliminator was only able to land three strikes to Seihu, but Seihu was able to deliver more. Eliminator was quick and agile, with Seihu’s agility and speed rivaling his. But Seihu had the speed and agility of the mind as well. When Eliminator was about to punch Seihu, Seihu blocked the punch to deliver a quick one to Eliminator’s gut, followed by another punch and a series of kicks. Eliminator delivered two kicks only for Seihu to block one and flip away from the other. When Eliminator ran at Seihu, Seihu grabbed Eliminator and threw him at a stone pillar as Seihu rotated. As Eliminator stood up one last time, he moved towards Seihu with a hook punch, but Seihu ducked and kicked Eliminator. While Eliminator grabbed his kicking leg, Seihu jumped and delivered a flying kick to Eliminator that connected to his face. As Eliminator sidestepped after that hard hit, Seihu moved walked forward calmly. To Eliminator that was almost insulting, and Eliminator ran at Seihu, only to receive a chop to his neck and a collision with Seihu’s fist. Eliminator fell after that hit.

Seihu breathed heavily as stood over the beaten Eliminator.

He then got the partially active Vahki to use its Staff of Suggestion on Eliminator.

As the Vahki fired the beam at Eliminator, Eliminator was in an almost comatose state.

“Forget this day, happened and leave” Seihu suggested while catching his breath.

Before he shut it down, Seihu got the Vahki to fire a Level 8 Teleport Kanoka to banish Eliminator from Metru Nui.

Just out of the corner of his eye, the Carigi came to him.

Seihu held out his hand to hold his pet. “What is the news?” Seihu asked.

The Carigi’s eyes suddenly hone purple light. Seihu spaced out as the Carigi was playing this vision:

In the Coliseum, the Matoran were getting forced into the spheres by the Vahki and Turaga Dume.

The next image, Turaga Dume revealed himself to be Makuta and fought Vakama. Finally, Yahru was dragged in by Draku, and placed in a Matoran Sphere.

When the vision ended, Seihu snapped out of that trance.

“I have to go; Yahru and the other Matoran could be in trouble” Seihu said as he was looking at the sky.

With that done, Seihu left for the Coliseum…

Between the time that Seihu and Eliminator were in strife, Yahru was running and fighting for his life.

Chapter 19 (Yahru’s escape)[]

Yahru fled from Seihu’s home after it was run down by the Bordahk after they searched for him. Yahru took with him a practice sword and small throwing disks for self-defense. He took a chute and hid in the city of Onu-Metru when he heard Turaga Dume made the announcement for all Matoran to enter the Coliseum and into the Matoran Spheres. At the time, the presence of the Rorzakh in the city forced Yahru to run. From there, he went to Le-Metru. Probably, not the safest place to because of all the chutes and cables, but because there was so much traffic, there was a chance that Yahru would blend in. But Yahru was discovered by some Vorzakh, Le-Metru Vahki, who were hiding behind some chutes while he was leaping from building to building trying to escape.

“I have to find Toa Seihu or the other Toa,” Yahru thought as he was running, “Seihu said to avoid Vahki and stay away from trouble.”

That was before he spotted the Vorzakh and thought “But it seems that trouble is coming for me”

The Vahki were on Yahru’s tail, and some fired their disks at Yahru. However, Yahru deflected the disks with his sword.

The Vorzakh relentlessly chased Yahru, they pillaged through every chute, building and airship to try and stop Yahru.

Yahru was looking back as he was running, with a facial expression of both anger and annoyance.

But as Yahru landed on one of the buildings, he was shocked to see a small group of Vorzakh that sprung up and landed in front of him.

The Vorzakh shot from their staffs, but Yahru dodged and flipped away. The Vorzakh then resorted to physical force to try and stop Yahru and bring him in.

It was either surrender or run, but Yahru made a third option.

“I won’t let them have me!” Yahru resolved.

As ill-advised as it was for a Matoran to fight against Vorzakh, Yahru knew enough to know where they stood and therefore made a stand himself. As the Vorzakh and Yahru leaped to action, Weapons were clashing, sounds of disks and lasers flying were piercing the air, and fists and kicks were smacking against metal as Yahru was fighting his way through all of the Vorzakh and defeated them.

Yahru tried to gather all of his energy as he ran from the Vorzakh.

But little did he know was that when he was running from the Vahki, he was tagged by a Rorzakh, a Vahki from Onu-Metru, so the Vahki would know where he was. Yahru left Le-Metru on an abandoned Aero-Bike. As soon as he was heading to Ta-Metru, a group of five Rorzakh blocked his way.

As the Rorzakh were running towards Yahru, and Yahru ran the vehicle at high speed. When the time was right, he crouched down on the bike and with both feet, jumped off the seat. The bike ran into three of the Rorzakh and Yahru flipped over them. But the rest of the Rorzakh didn’t give up and kept chasing and shooting after Yahru. Yahru kept on deflecting the shots and dodging them.

Yahru jumped to the side and found an abandoned disk launcher and shot freeze disks at some of the Rorzakh. Some of the Rorzakh came forward; Yahru jumped at the Rorzakh and struck them, and defeated them.

Yahru, remembering the Vahki that the Rorzakh were, got one of its staffs and used it to neutralize the tag that he understood was on him, and ran to one of the seas of Ga-Metru.

Yahru took a boat and was about to leave Ga-Metru, until Seihu;s words knocked on his mental door. “…we need and must look out for one another. Matoran like you and - at one point - me, are all part of one community.”

Knowing that the Matoran were lost and in danger and how much that Seihu was willing to fight for him as a Matoran, Yahru reluctantly turned back. “Looks like I will have to be the hero now” Yahru sighed.

The next thing Yahru knew, he was approached by two of the six-legged elite Vahki known as the Kraahu. The Kraahu jumped at Yahru, but Yahru flipped away. Yahru knew that if he got near, they would either stun him with gas or electricity. Yahru had to choose to lead it astray. Yahru motioned the Kraahu to come to him. As he did so, he led the Kraahu to a nearby ocean.

The Kraahu flew to Yahru and used stun gas. However, Yahru dove into the water before it could get to him. The Kraahu looked around for Yahru and flew above the water. Just when it flew above the water, Yahru came up from behind them on a small cliff and used his last two freeze disks on them. The Kraahu’s legs froze and they fell in the water, and when the water melted the ice, the water short-circuited the Kraahu.

This all happened while Seihu was heading over to the Coliseum. Sadly, Eliminator wasn’t going the only enemy Seihu encountered along the way.

In Po-Metru After Seihu defeated Eliminator, he continued on his way to the Coliseum. When He arrived at the Fields of Construction, he felt like he wasn’t alone. Krekka landed in front of Seihu and fired his disk at him, but Seihu fell back and dodged the hit. Seihu got up and summoned his sword to cut some of the disks aimed at him. Seihu panted as lowered his sword to see his attacker. Seihu recalled Krekka as one of the culprits of Lhikan’s capture. Seihu jerked back a bit but was ready for him. As he smashed his fists together, Krekka chanted “Smash Toa, smash Toa…” “So much for laying low” Seihu thought…

Chapter 20[]

Krekka moved toward Seihu and went to land punches to Seihu. Seihu dodged them and reacted with some attacks of his own. Seihu jumped to kick Krekka, but Krekka caught Seihu’s kick and threw him away. Seihu quickly got back up. Krekka had the tremendous brute strength and raw power, however, Seihu was stronger mentally and more physically agile and balanced than Krekka.

Seihu evaded Krekka’s punches and step back towards a nearby mountain. Krekka charged for Seihu, but Seihu evaded Krekka and used Krekka’s own momentum to make him hit the nearby wall with his face. Krekka was dazed by the hit, and when he turned around, Seihu met him with a quick but sharp kick to the belly, followed by a hip throw and a punch to the face.

It was not long before Seihu sensed that Krekka wasn’t the only enemy after him. Seihu heard a sound of footsteps running up a wall, which reminded him of a Chute Spider. Seihu gazed over his shoulder and Nidhiki fired green bolts of energy from his mandibles, but Seihu blocked them with the flat edge of his sword and ran from the line of fire. Seihu looked back to see his new opponent. Nidhiki cackled as he leaped from a stone pillar he was crawling on. Seihu knew that this opponent was different, not just because of his 4 legs, but because of his intelligence, he seemed smarter than Krekka. Seihu’s adrenaline rushed as he faced off with Nidhiki, even though he didn’t know that was Nidhiki.

“Ah, how convenient, another Toa”, Nidhiki maniacally smirked.

“I will make sure that you are begging for mercy like how Lhikan begged for mercy”. Nidhiki mocked. Seihu felt a knot of anger about to tie up in him after hearing that, but he took that to another direction. “Are you saying it out of your own wishful thinking, or out of your experience of being a victim?” Seihu snidely replied. Nidhiki was offended but smirked. “I will make sure that smart mouth is wiped from your face, Toa”.

Back in Ta Metru, Yahru defeated the Rorzakh and Kraahu, he arrived at Ta-Metru and went to a warehouse he was approached by the Kranua, another one of the types of elite Vahki. Yahru was caught a little off guard by its big size and shape, but he clenched his fists ready to take on the Kranua. The Kranua stomped towards Yahru ready to fight. Yahru leaped to the Kranua, with his sword drawn. The Kranua turned into sand and avoided the hit and quickly kicked Yahru away. Yahru got back up and just when Kranua grabbed Yahru by the throat, Yahru threw a disk at its stomach, and elbow struck its arm and kicked it down, before running to a slightly different location. Kranua chased Yahru in Ta-Metru, as Yahru kept on stealthily avoiding Kranua. Kranua looked in the Great Furnace, Fire Pits and everywhere else in Ta-Metru until it arrived in a Molten Protodermis Treatment center. Yahru sprang behind it and kicked it, pushing it forward by a few feet. When it got up, Yahru stood right in front of it, motioning a “Come here” gesture with a glare on his face. Kranua brought out its staffs and clashed weapons with Yahru for a little while before Yahru knocked its staff away. Just as Yahru got up to cut it with his sword, Kranua turned into sand, making Yahru’s blade only connect with the hot air of Ta-Metru. Anticipating this, Yahru threw his sword into a vat of flammable Protodermis and pulled it out. The vat poured a large stream of a flammable Protodermis mixture on the Kranua’s sandy form. Using the fire staff that he took from a mask maker’s forge, Yahru lit up the fluid and sand pile mixture, turning it into glass. Yahru retreated to find another safe place.

Meanwhile in Po-Metru, Nidhiki jumped over Krekka to attack to Seihu with his claws, only for Seihu to roll away from attack. Nidhiki kept on hitting Seihu with his claws, only for Seihu to athletically dodge and block them all. Seihu delivered a quick jab to Nidhiki’s belly and face.

“You got spirit Toa…” Nidhiki said while turning his head after the punch, “but I hate spirit” said while charging up his mandible attack.

Nidhiki shot at Seihu, but Seihu kept on dodging Nidhiki’s attacks. Seihu quickly blinded Nidhiki with his light powers, while giving the illusion that he was reflecting the sun’s light using the blade. Seihu then leapt over Nidhiki, landed on his back, and grabbed him by the mandibles. Nidhiki tried to get Seihu off with his pinchers but Seihu jumped off of Nidhiki and kicked him in the back. Nidhiki then lunged at Seihu with his legs and pinchers, landing 3 hits to him. But Seihu kept dodging and blocking the attacks with his sword and kicks.

Krekka slowly got back up and watched Seihu and Nidhiki fight. Krekka decided to shoot energy nets at Seihu. But Seihu unknowingly cut Krekka’s net and that caught his attention. Krekka fired another net at Seihu, but Seihu dodged and the net caught Nidhiki instead. As Seihu kept dodging Krekka’s attacks, Nidhiki broke free and joined Krekka. Seihu clenched his fists, ready for a two on one fight. Nidhiki kept on beating at Seihu and Krekka followed suit. Seihu managed to defend himself well against that onslaught. Once Seihu managed to flip away, he got on Krekka’s back and gave chop to his neck. Then as Krekka was temporarily incapacitated, Seihu vaulted off Krekka’s back and kicked Nidhiki and Krekka. He grabbed Krekka’s arms and shifted his body around Krekka and kicked him into Nidhiki. Seihu delivered a flying kick to both of them, along with a furious flash of fighting techniques that completely knocked out the two of them. Seihu knocked them out enough to not only give him enough time to run as fast as he could to the Coliseum but to give them amnesia so they wouldn’t remember the fight with him.

Meanwhile, in Ta-Metru As Yahru was running from one of the Ta-Metru warehouses, he was approached by Draku, who returned to Metru Nui for revenge against Seihu. He recognized Yahru from his interactions with Seihu and went to challenge him after seeing him fight. Yahru was getting weary, but decided to drum up the courage to fight that Rahkshi head on. Draku moved forward to Yahru, knee struck Yahru and threw him. The Rahkshi then got its weapon out, The Halberd of Shadows. Yahru also had to get armed and got out his sword. Yahru and Draku clashed their weapons for a while, but Draku twisted the weapon out of Yahru’s hand. When Draku performed a kick to Yahru, the latter ducked and kicked Draku away. Yahru then retaliated by using some of his fighting moves on Draku. Draku blocked some of his attacks but it seemed like a promising fight for Yahru. But Draku pushed Yahru away, knocked out Yahru in a fog of shadow, carried and placed him into a Matoran sphere. He also modified a Kraahu in order to guard Yahru’s sphere.

Back in Po-Metru Just as Seihu was heading to the Coliseum, a few Zadakh were tailing him and Seihu noticed them.

Chapter 21[]

Seihu was running from the Vahki were chasing him.

Seihu threw one of his boomerangs at the Zadakh before they even had a chance to shoot. The boomerang hit one of the Zadakh so hard that the Zadakh fell and tripped another over with its fallen body. Then two of the Zadakh landed in front of Seihu, with two more behind Seihu. One on each side shot at Seihu, but Seihu dropped and rolled away from the blasts making them hit each other instead. That was when two of the Zadakh came for Seihu to engage in some personal hand to hand combat. Seihu brought out his Protosteel sticks, considering that the Zadakh were wielding their staffs and wanted to even out the odds.

From there, the pair of Zadakh and Seihu went at it. Seihu kept on dodging and parrying the blows, and got to the point of knocking the Vahki’s weapons out from their hands, and defeated them with just punches, strikes, and kicks.

Seihu entered the Sculpture Fields, and suddenly Draku jumped from the sculptures and lunged for Seihu, wielding his Halberd of Shadows.

Seihu tumbled away and got up to face Draku.

Draku growled as he got up, and Seihu also snarled as he got ready in his fighting stance…

Seihu drew his sword from his back in a flash of light. Seihu raised his sword to his right with both hands, standing with his legs a few feet apart as he faced his opponent.

The Rahkshi raised its halberd and posed similarly.

The background was quiet; the only noise that was present was the sound of the wind scrapping the pebble of Po-Metru on the sand.

After a few seconds, Draku was the first to charge, with Seihu following.

Seihu yelled as he ran and the Rahkshi also growled as it ran towards Seihu. As they charged for each other their weapons collided. Both fighters then pushed each other away a few feet away with the force from their weapons.

Then the Rahkshi jumped at Seihu, about to cut him with the Halberd, but Seihu dodged the hit. The Rahkshi then went to hit Seihu again, only for Seihu to block the halberd with his sword and tried to kick the Rahkshi away from him. The Rahkshi then jumped back as Seihu got back up. The Rahkshi kept trying to hit Seihu with its weapon, but Seihu kept dodging and parrying with his sword, and vice-versa.

Then Seihu did a leg sweep to Draku, but the Rahkshi flipped away from Seihu’s sweep and fired blasts of darkness from the spike on its halberd blade. Seihu deflected those shots with his sword and sidestepped. While Seihu was about to strike with his sword, Draku trapped his blade with the pitchfork end, twisted the weapon out of Seihu’s hand and nearly kicked Seihu away. As Seihu got up, Draku was about to deliver a slash to Seihu, but Seihu evaded and used his Protosteel stick (nunchuck mode) to pull Draku’s halberd away from it. Seihu then fought the Draku unarmed. The Rahkshi was anticipating it too. They both fought unarmed for a while, Draku managed to connect five hits to Seihu, knocking some wind out of him.

Slowly Seihu got back up and proceeded to fight Draku in unarmed combat. Seihu slowly got up and stretched before heading into his fighting stance. Draku was annoyed and moved for Seihu. Draku punched and kicked rapidly. Draku’s punches intended to swat Seihu like a tiny lightning bug, with his knuckles being a swatter, but Seihu dodging and flipping away like a fly. Draku kept on kicking and punching and striking, but Seihu was so swift that he was almost as intangible as a Phase Dragon at the Le-Metru test tracks. What Draku did not know was that Seihu was merely trying to conserve his energy by dodging and avoiding Draku’s techniques.

Finally as Draku was losing his energy, he yelled, “FIGHT YOU COWARD!!! No point in running now!”

Seihu looked at Draku in a glare that said to Draku to bring it on. Seihu motioned with his fingers for Draku to come.

Draku proceeded to punch Seihu. But Seihu blocked and punched Draku’s gut. Seihu connected several punches and kicks to Draku, even in spite of Draku’s blocks. He finished with a kick to Draku’s back that sent Draku gliding. Draku determined to end Seihu, so he released a small cloud of shadow with his hand that surrounded Seihu. Seihu was under pressure to get out, considering that the dark cloud would stun him. “You lose, Toa” Draku cackled.

Draku went back to get his Halberd of Shadows to shoot Seihu down.

“No, I will not lose. As long as the Toa, Turaga, and Matoran need help, I have just begun!” Seihu’s resolve empowered him to the point where he made a flash of light break out in the cloud, causing it to dissipate. The light was so strong that it pushed Draku to the ground. He was shocked to see such a sight. Seihu then picked up his sword. Draku picked up his halberd too.

The Rahkshi and Seihu ended the fight by running for each other with their powers surging through their weapons: Seihu, Light and the Rahkshi, Shadow. As they collided, they went past each other, both standing with their weapons out…

Chapter 22[]

Seihu and Draku were standing with their weapons out. Seihu fell on the floor with his hand on the ground while breathing heavily; Draku looked behind him almost in accomplishment until he fell on the ground with a gash in his armor that spewed out darkness and Antidermis.

Seihu got back up and looked behind him. Draku got up determined to finish this battle.

But the Rahkshi didn’t give up so easily, Seihu was wondering how to end this battle, so he lured the Rahkshi into shooting the support of a Sculpture. Just as Draku was about to fire at Seihu, Seihu climbed up the sculpture and when Draku shot from his halberd, Seihu ricocheted off of it like in his Matoran days, flipping over Draku and causing Draku to hit the support of the sculpture. Then as he landed, Seihu’s feet light up before he kicked the Rahkshi into the Sculpture, in a way that combines the flight of a Gukko with the kick of a Fusa. The crash caused the sculpture to collapse on the Rahkshi.

Seihu managed to get the strength to stand up and leave.

Draku laughed in a fatigued manner, “You foolish Toa, while you were wasting your time fighting me, all the Vahki and the Dark Hunters, Dume has the Matoran in the transport. You can’t rescue them all now. We even captured the last one, your little Matoran friend.”

“That will change” Seihu panted heavily while looking at the Coliseum and pointing his finger to Draku.

Then he went to the Coliseum, to get Yahru and help with rescuing the rest of the Matoran.

Seihu raced to the Coliseum to go after the Matoran.

While he raced over to the Coliseum, Seihu noticed that a Gukko was flying near him and signaled to Seihu to climb on. Seihu noticed that his Carigi was perched on the Gukko’s back, and Seihu jumped on and the Gukko and flew over to the Coliseum.

When Seihu got to the Coliseum, he noticed four Vahki transports. Three close to the Telescreen and one that was coming in. Seihu was about to go in, when he hid somewhere and looked intently at the fourth Vahki transport and found one Toa driving the Vahki transport, Matau; and five other Toa, Vakama, Nokama, Nuju, Whenua and Onewa leaving the ship and going after the three Vahki Transports.

Seihu whispered, “The six Toa made it…” as he kneeled on the floor tired.

Then Seihu saw a red and gold familiar looking Turaga leaving that same ship,

“Wait, it can’t be.” Seihu thought, “Lhikan?!” Seihu caught on and found out that the Turaga was Lhikan.

As they ran for the Vahki transports, Dume yelled “Too late, Toa”.

Just then “Dume” took off his mask and revealed to be Makuta.

“The Shadow has arrived” Makuta declared.

When Seihu saw that, he felt a chill through his body and was almost paralyzed at the sight of Dume’s true identity.

“Makuta” Seihu whispered with a slight quiver in his voice…

Chapter 23[]

While Seihu was standing back watching, he heard Makuta’s interaction with the Lhikan and the Toa. “Makuta, you were sworn to protect the Matoran”, Turaga Lhikan reprimanded. “Oh, but I shall”, Makuta replied, “And when they awake, I will be their Great Leader”, “I better find Yahru and the other Matoran” Seihu determined. Seihu stormed off as Makuta made the dreaded announcement. “Now even the Great Spirit will soon sleep,” Makuta said. Seihu felt helpless as Makuta darkened the sky and the two moons closed like eyelids.

Seihu went to the Corridor to look for the Matoran and found a corridor containing a lot of sphere like objects. Seihu went in there and sensed that life was in many of those spheres. Seihu heard a Matoran who sounded like Yahru in another room and ran towards it. Yahru reclined by one of the columns of the corridor, panting after moving some of the Matoran spheres. Unfortunately, some remaining Kraahu parts were coming after Yahru. Finding Yahru and noticing the predicament, Seihu came up and sliced the elite Vahki model’s legs and body and thus defeated it. Yahru looked back up at Toa Seihu.

“Master Seihu?” Seihu nods, “are you okay, Yahru?” “Well, I was almost a living Vahki trophy, where have you been? “I had my share of enemies to fight as well. No time to explain, I have to get you out of here”. "Not until we take back the Matoran" Seihu couldn't dispute that, so he went with Yahru to the storage facility to help pick up some Matoran spheres, before hearing a Vahki transport come in. "Yahru we got to go" "What?" "Now" Yahru reluctantly went with Seihu to hide.

Seihu saw the Vahki transport open in a distance and spotted the six Toa approaching the spheres. "Can we save them all?" Nokama asked the other five Toa and Lhikan. “Time is too short,” replied Vakama. “But if we save a few, we save hope for all.” The six Toa and Lhikan brought the six Matoran to their Vahki transport. Yahru was itching to help them out, but Seihu sensed this and restrained and silenced Yahru before they got caught. The six Toa left with the few spheres of Matoran, determined to come back for the rest later.

"Yahru." Seihu whistled. Yahru followed Seihu to another Vahki transport. Seihu got behind the wheel of a Vahki transport and drove it. After he recovered, Seihu drove on one of the bridges near the Great Temple while the Toa Metru were driving their Vahki Transport through the Silver Sea. Yahru recovering had questions for Seihu. "Master Seihu, how come we didn't get the rest of the Matoran?" "Yahru, the Toa Metru have their destiny and that is to rescue the Matoran, all we are to do is be there for them" "But it doesn't seem practical." "Yahru you may not understand this now, but we did the proper thing."

At the time, Makuta just absorbed Nidhiki, Krekka and Nivawk, and manipulated the Protodermis columns in the Silver Sea. Although the Toa did well in evading and overcoming most of the Protodermis columns, one of the columns fell in front of the transport and caused the Matoran spheres to fall out of the vessel. That prompted five of the Toa to get the rest of the Matoran, while Vakama was lifted up to the cliff to face Makuta. While the Toa Metru placed the Matoran spheres on a rocky shore on the sea, the Vahki were about to destroy the Toa. This caught Seihu’s attention. “Yahru stay here” Seihu instructed. Seihu jumped out of the Vahki transport and swam to the shore…

Chapter 24[]

When Seihu arrived on the shore, he hid behind a rock to do a surprise attack.

The Vahki were closing in, catching the attention of Nokama.

“Look out!” Nokama exclaimed to the other Toa.

The Vahki were closing in.

Taking out his Aero Slicers, Matau groaned “Oh joy, more of those crash-bang Vahki”

The Vahki were closing in, as the Toa were getting their weapons ready.

Seihu dug out his boomerang.

Just when the Vahki closed in, Seihu threw his boomerang and it crashed into one of the Vahki.

Six of the Vahki turned around and went to look at why one of the Vahki fell.

The Toa looked as well.

“Whoa, what was that?” One of the Toa Metru asked.

“Come on, let’s take a closer look”.

Before they could do it they were held up by 3 of the Vahki.

When six of the Vahki went to one of the shore areas to look for the attacker, Seihu showed up behind them.

When the Toa Metru defeated the three Vahki and were picking up the Matoran, Lhikan picked up Seihu’s boomerang and walked past the gorge. One of the Toa noticed Lhikan going somewhere asked, “Lhikan, where are going?”

“Wait here Toa”

Through a series of punches, kicks, strikes and slashes, Seihu defeated four Vahki in a flash of his element, and sliced of the heads of the last two with his sword. Seihu thought he was alone after that, but he wasn’t.

Lhikan noticed Seihu panting with the scrapped and defeated Vahki parts circling him.

“Lose something, Seihu?”  Lhikan asked while holding Seihu’s boomerang.

Seihu looked behind him “Lhikan?”

Lhikan handed Seihu his boomerang.

Lhikan nodded, “You couldn’t resist coming, could you Seihu?”

Seihu replied, “I couldn’t, but I needed to.”

“What happened to your powers?” Seihu then asked

“My Toa powers are now part of the six Toa” Lhikan responded.

“That makes sense”

“You couldn’t have come at a better time”, Lhikan said. “If you can provide, there is one favor I need to ask of you.”

“Name it”

“Do you still have access to your pets?”

Seihu replied, “Yes, why do you ask?” …

Meanwhile on a cliff, Vakama and Makuta were facing off. Vakama brought out the mask of time and started using it to slow down Makuta’s shadow hand from attacking him.

Chapter 25[]

In start of the battle between Vakama and Makuta, Seihu flew Lhikan over to the cliff on his newly adopted Gukko.

“Here you go, Lhikan.” Seihu said, “Do what you must do”.

Lhikan gave a fist-bump to Seihu for the last time, “You too. Thank you for all of your help, brother Seihu”.

Seihu sighed as he saw this.

Just when Makuta was closing in on Vakama with his shadow hand attack, Lhikan ran between Vakama and Makuta, and took the blow for Vakama.

Seihu was shocked and paralyzed to see what happened. He would have gone for Lhikan but he knew from Lhikan himself that he had to do it.

Seihu stood behind a boulder and bore witness to Vakama’s battle with Makuta.

The other Toa needed to get up to the cliff to meet up with Vakama, so Seihu whistled for his Gukko to fly two of two of the Toa over to the Cliff, while Nuju got two more Toa to the cliff using his mask power and Matau used his Aero Slicer wings to fly to the cliff.

The rest of Toa were making their way up to the cliff to meet Vakama. Once the other Toa Metru arrived, all 6 of them joined fists and produced a Protodermis seal on Makuta.

Seihu was amazed by the way the Toa sealed Makuta.

“Never have I seen such a power of unity, in my whole life.” Seihu remarked.

The seal was finished.

Seihu then looked at the sky at Toa Lhikan’s spirit star as it broke into 6 spirit stars for each Toa Metru.

The Toa Metru saw it as well.

“Then that confirms it, we are Toa” Nuju happily declared.

All six Toa cheered with their victory over Makuta, with Seihu looking up and nodding with approval.

Seihu nodded silently, “Great job, all of you.”

As they left, Seihu looked up at the sky and after the Toa Metru’s spirit stars flew away, Seihu saw a less conspicuous but bright star that revealed itself and followed the Toa Metru. When Seihu saw that star, he felt such a strong connection to it that it led him to the conclusion that the spirit star was his, leading Seihu to smile.

Seihu walked over and kneeled to the deceased Turaga Lhikan, “You were a hero to the end brother Lhikan, and your sacrifice will not be in vain”. Seihu gave a solemn bow to his friend, brother, mentor and former fellow Toa.

That was when he saw Lhikan getting beamed up into the sky.

Seihu flew back to the Great Temple Bridge and came back to the Vahki transport.

When Seihu returned, Yahru asked “Master Seihu, what happened over there?”

“The Toa won.”

“That’s great, where are they going now?”

“Somewhere similar to where we are going right now.”

Epilogue[]

“Here we are Yahru”.

Yahru looked around and saw the lush, tropical, yet primitive setting of the arrival destination.

“What is this place?” He asked.

Seihu responded, “Our new home.”

“But why?”

“As you know, Metru Nui has been destroyed, and until we somehow have the means to help repair it, we may be here for a while”

“What about the other Toa, why are they going back?”

“They have more work to finish. We just have to wait on them to return with all the other Matoran.” Seihu said. “So right now, we have to settle here”

Seihu would have gone back to help, however an agent from The Order of Mata Nui intervened.

“Seihu, let the Toa handle it, their destiny is yet to be fulfilled. You have done your part for now” The agent said.

Seihu entrusted the rest of the Matoran to the Toa Metru while it was his to clear the way for them to get the rest of the Matoran.

Seihu still had some tasks to accomplish as a Toa, but first, Seihu decided to train Yahru in the Island of Mata Nui, and anticipate the Toa Metru’s return.

Eventually the Toa Metru came back to Mata Nui with the rest of the Matoran and freed them.

After they freed them, the Toa Metru became Turaga.

Seihu trained Yahru for 499 years on a small portion of the Island of Mata Nui. At the 500th year, Seihu got a telepathic word from an Order of Mata Nui agent.

“Metru Nui needs to be defended once more. There is a horde of loose Visorak trying to take over what’s left.”

“Yahru, I must go back to Metru Nui”

“But wasn’t it destroyed?”

“Yes, but if I don’t go now, it will only get worse.”

Seihu put his hand on Yahru’s shoulder, “You must stay on this island for a while and stay with the other Matoran, until I say you can come.”

So Seihu got his things and headed for Metru Nui, and went through the Great Barrier back to Metru Nui.

It was there that he was met by former Arena fighters from his past who he and Hulgon helped train and reform. Together, Seihu, Hulgon and the four former Arena fighters secretly aided the Rahaga, Keetongu, and the real Turaga Dume- who was freed from his Matoran sphere- against the remaining armies of Visorak, as well as some other fiends seeking to take over Metru Nui.

Once he subdued the Visorak with the help of his team, Seihu returned to the Island of Mata Nui, and continued to train Yahru in a smaller island located near the Island of Mata Nui.

This went on until Metru Nui was reopened for all the inhabitants of the Island. That was when Seihu; Yahru; another group of Toa, the Toa Nuva; the Matoran; and their new Turaga came back to Metru Nui.

He still stayed in the shadows, but never too much to violate trust among the Matoran. Even there, he mentored Yahru throughout the event from the migration to Mata Nui up to the return to Metru Nui.

Although a majority of Seihu’s story is told, Seihu’s story will forge new stories along the way.
