Helryx is the leader of the Order of Mata Nui and member of the Council of Kehidupan.

Biography[]

Early life[]

1000 years before the Great Cataclysm War, Helryx was created by Mata Nui as a Ga-Matoran. She did maintenance on the Great Spirit Robot. As a Ga-Matoran she used her limited elemental powers to maintain water purity within the Great Spirit Robot.

Helryx was transformed into a Toa by the will of Mata Nui, after the Great Being sensed a great evil. She was recruited in secret to the Order of Mata Nui by Artakha, along with Jovan and Yunak.

War against Abaddon[]

When Abaddon infiltrated the Core Processor, she teamed up with the Toa Neirae to fight back his forces. She worked with Kisa to defeat Vicoran. Helryx's involvement with the Order of Mata Nui was exposed when the Order of Mata Nui imprisoned Abaddon.

Betrayal by the Brotherhood[]

Helryx was defeated when the Brotherhood of Makuta took over the Great Spirit Robot. She fled with the Ignika and went into hiding.

She was with Mata Nui when he created a body for himself using the Ignika.

Great Cataclysm War[]

Helrxy reformed the Order of Mata Nui with the help of Mata Nui and the newly transformed Toa. The group joined forces with the Toa Neirae and defeated the Brotherhood of Makuta.

After the War[]

Helryx joined the Council of Kehidupan after the Great Cataclysm War.

She led an expedition into the Lost Continents to track down a Bounty Hunter. The team was ambushed by an army of Skakdi, battling against two Makuta. Helryx realised that one of the Makuta was Vicoran.

Attack on Kehidupan[]

Helryx brought the news of the Makuta's survival and the return of the Infernal Legion to the Council of Kehidupan. She reassured Suram that they would find the kidnapped Wira.

Helryx defended Kehidupan when the Infernal Legion attacked, sending three members to ravage the city. She fought against Antroz with Yunak, eventually overpowering the Makuta when reinforcements arrived.

Seeking Artakha's creations[]

Helryx travelled with Wira and Suram to the island of Aratakhas from Lautan, not engaging in conversation despite being respected greatly by the Matoran sailors. She hushed Tema on the boat ride, telling the Ga-Matoran that she was boring the group of Toa.

Once reaching the island, she embarked with Wira and Suram, interviewing Suram when he detected elemental Shadow powers from Crescent, confirming Yunak's report. Helryx arrived at Artakha's hut and searched for his creations. She stopped the group when she felt they were being watched.

Helryx was angered by Wira ignoring her orders to stand guard, pulling the Toa of Life back from a pack of Kralj. She countered the beast's attack, shocked to learn that Wira could speak to it.

The group then discovered Artakha's storage shed, Helryx realising that the Masks of Creation, Dimensional Travel and Time were all gone. She remained silent on the trip back to Zivot, processing what this meant.

Battle at the gate[]

Upon arriving at Kehidupan, Helryx and the group were attacked by Vicoran, who Helryx fought off so that Wira and Suram could progress. She kept the Artificial Makuta back, unaware that it was a distraction for Crescent to infiltrate through the gate.

Helryx was eventually blasted through the gate by Vicoran, which created an opening for Crescent to impale Wira. She screamed in terror as the Toa of Life fell to the ground.

Death by Abaddon's hand[]

Helryx rallies the Order of Mata Nui to attack Infernal Legion in the Core Processor room, but Abaddon attacks her first. She uses an illusion created by Solstice to get the upper hand on the tyrant but was ultimately defeated. Helryx is killed by Abaddon impaling her in the stomach and blasting her body to pieces.

Recruiting allies[]

Helryx is revived by Mata Nui and taken to the Lost Continents with some Matoran and Order of Mata Nui members. Mata Nui asked her to accompany him to recruit a Selavian and a Skakdi from deep within the Lost Continents. Helryx is hesitant but agreed, asking Yunak to lead the Order of Mata Nui in her absence, but the Toa of Plasma suggests Eclipse instead.

Personality and traits[]

Helryx was fearless and determined. She always had an ultimate goal in mind: to serve the will of Mata Nui. Helryx was compassionate and took all three virtues very seriously, believing that beings like the Makuta had forsaken their true purpose. Towards Matoran and other Toa, Helryx offered a helping hand where she could.

She never got angry, remaining calm or serious in most situations. Helryx carefully calculates what she says and how she acts, very aware that she is an idol to the Matoran and a role model to the other Toa of the Order of Mata Nui.

Powers and tools[]

Helryx carries an Axe-Headed Spear that can change its length according to her will. She is skilled at using it as a long weapon or a one-handed axe, sometimes swapping between the two during combat. Although she does not carry any other weapons, Helryx is adept at using many blades and guns (though she would prefer not to).

She wields the Great Mask of Psychometry, which allows her to see the past of any object she touches. The mask always has a passive effect, resulting in Helryx not touching other Toa's weapons and avoiding contact with buildings.
