Toa Guardaniks is a Toa of Fire on the Toa Cortaka team.
History[]
Guardaniks spent most of his life living in Cortaka Nui, an island off the coast of Metru Nui. There, he was a highly skilled doctor and explorer, having been sent on many missions to explore lands outside of Cortaka Nui. When on a mission with several other Matoran, he discovered the hidden fortress of Makuta Kolrahk. Once inside, they were attacked by Kolrahk Robots and Makuta Galvaz, who had been squatting in Kolrahk's fortress while Kolrahk was dormant. Guardaniks managed to escape with every matoran besides Gate, who was captured by Galvaz. While making the return trip to Cortaka Nui, they were attacked by Galvaz and the newly-transformed Shadow Matoran, Gate. During the attack, Galvaz released a burst of Chain Lighting which destroyed the ship, and energized the protodermis sea around the wreckage. The crew fell into the energized protodermis and became the Toa Cortaka. After their transformation, Giza a newly formed Toa of Gravity used his elemental powers to lift the group out of the energized protodermis, and Eido used his Kakama to speed them back to Cortaka Nui.

As a Toa of Fire, Guardaniks can:
- Creating blasts and/or focused beams of fire and/or heat
- Heating an object/area
- Controlling fire and/or heat
- Absorbing fire and/or heat
- Detect heat sources
- Unleashing a Fire Nova Blast (Toa-exclusive)
Guardaniks can also used his Kanohi Hau to generate a shield around himself and others.
