Grunge was a "fixed" De-Matoran stationed on Cro in the Fragmented Universe.

History

Early Life

Like most De-Matoran, Grunge began his life on Spherus Magna, where he aided the construction of the Matoran Unvierse. Afterwards, he was placed in the Southern Island Chains.

After the Great Awakening, and due to the nature of the southern islands, Grunge became an aggressive and brutal warrior. During one of the many civil wars that erupted in the south, he was severely injured, and was taken to Karzahni along with several other battle-damaged Matoran to be "fixed."

Karzahni

After being "fixed," which primarily consisted of being saved from death and his form being weaker than before. To make up from his poor work, Grunge was given a plasma launcher and replaced his damaged Pakari with a Mask of Biomechanics. He was then loaded on a cargo ship with several other Matoran who had been modified in a similar manner and shipped to the Southern Continent to reside in a small village.

This was during the Legion of Chaos' campaign against the Order of Mata Nui for the Mask of Light. He found himself in the midst of another war. After the village was destroyed by the Legion, he was rescued by the Order and recruited into their ranks as a servant. He was stationed in a stronghold named Cro, which would become the home for the Mask of Light once the Order gained hold of it.

Abilities and Traits

As a De-Matoran, Grunge had naturally superior hearing. Both his arms were replaced with faulty robotic arms on Karzahni after being injured in battle. He is a brutal warrior and highly aggressive. He frequently clashed with others and was a force of division within Cro. He was widely disliked because of his attitude, but when he was killed during the battle, he was mourned by his fellow Matoran.

His Kanohi was a powerless Mask of Biomechanisc. He carried a Plasma Launcher. He had a set of razor sharp claws on one of his mechanical arms.
