Dartrakh and Dartoba lock blades as they battle for control over the galaxy. In the background, Brongar challenges Vahkra
The Great Beings' Crisis refers to the month-long struggle betweenDartrakh and theShadow Vorkrei, whom were led by Dartoba. The crisis resulted in the involvement of the Council of Antrahk.
Prelude[]
The struggle developed from Dartoba wishing to start his once-great colony from scratch on a new planet, along with his fellow Shadow Vorkrei who were the only few to survive their planet's destruction.
Dartrakh, the Great Being assigned to that realm, refused Dartoba's pleas, stating that their homelessness was not his problem and they should leave, quickly.
With his home, family and all the art and love of the Shadow Vorkrei's culture dstroyed, Dartoba vowed revenge on Dartrakh and set up a small, out of the way camp on one of the galaxy's planets.
Wishing to remove the Shadow Vorkrei from his star system, Dartrakh created Vahkra to destroy Dartoba, forcing the others out. Yet the Council of Antrahk firmly opposed Dartakh's plans and sided with Dartoba.
The Battle[]
In the struggle that followed, Dartrakh's plan fell apart as Vahkra went on a killing spree, threatening the very galaxy itself. Dartrakh and Dartoba were forced to team up to save the galaxy they both so desperately wanted, and Dartakh killed Vahkra after a pitched battle. Dartoba and Dartrakh hauled the robot's corpse back to Tarnaroth, where Dartrakh soon collapses and utters his final words to the Council of Antrahk and the Shadow Vorkrei.
Aftermath[]
Upon his death, Dartrakh confessed he regretted dearly the things he had done, and from his shattered corpse, Mata Nui arose to create the Matoran Universe. Antrahk and the others watched and asceneded back up to the heavens knowing Dartrakh had done what needed to be done. The Great Being's task was over.
