'''Gorug Desert''' is the desert of [[Mabauto]]. [[Po-Koro (Mabauto)|Po-Koro]] is also located near the beach of this desert.

== History ==
When [[Bio-Land]] broke off [[Mabauto]], Gorug Desert became what remained of the [[Tafrago Desert]]. This new desert was much smaller and that fact made it possible for the Tohunga to construct a village there, under command of the island's new tyrant, [[The Makuta (Mabauto)|The Makuta]].

Since Mabauto was freed from the slavery of the Makuta, the desert has remained untouched and wasn't damaged by [[The Rising]] since Mabauto was so far away from the scene.
