Gorug Desert is the desert of Mabauto. Po-Koro is also located near the beach of this desert.
History[]
When Bio-Land broke off Mabauto, Gorug Desert became what remained of the Tafrago Desert. This new desert was much smaller and that fact made it possible for the Tohunga to construct a village there, under command of the island's new tyrant, The Makuta.
Since Mabauto was freed from the slavery of the Makuta, the desert has remained untouched and wasn't damaged by The Rising since Mabauto was so far away from the scene.
