Gonter is a Skakdi of Plantlife, also known as the Pirate-King, who leads a group of other Skakdi.

History[]

Early Life[]

Gonter, like the rest of the Matoran Universe inhabitants, were created by the Great Beings long ago. As with others of his kind, he was experimented on by the Makuta, Spiriah, which permanently altered him and the rest of his species. In due time, he would rise up as a warlord of renown and take his journeys to the sea with a crew of pirates, pillaging the coasts of other islands and continents until Makuta Teridax took control over the Great Spirit Robot.

Reformation of Spherus Magna[]

Gonter briefly fought on the side of Teridax's forces during the Battle For Bara Magna before settling down and rebuilding his pirate crew on the newly reformed Spherus Magna.

With his crew and his giant land ship, Gonter would eke out a nice territory over the emerging settlements on Spherus Magna and would extort them for wealth in exchange for their prolonged existence.

In Search of Treasure[]

Gonter and his crew would eventually find Neeva, a stranger in their territory, and surround her. Gonter, taking an interest in the foreign Toa, would introduce himself to her and ask her to play a game.

Personality & Traits[]

Gonter spoke with a long emphasis on certain words, most notably pronouncing "Toa" like "Too-a." He is cold and calculating, taking his time to observe his situation and opportunities presented to him. Because of his more patient demeanour, he is unlike other Skakdi. That is not to say he is any less like the rest, as he is also quite brusque and grouchy.

Powers & Tools[]

Like others of his species, Gonter can access his elemental abilities, in this case the element of plantlife, in conjunction with other Skakdi. Not much is known about Gonter's combative capabilities but he does have a hook for a hand, a claw on the other, and his trusty Zakaz Vulture, Kooka, by his side.

Trivia[]

  • Gonter was originally a short and stout MOC, made with Kongu Mahri's torso and little to no personality.
