The Goldenheart Cannon is a powerful weapon used by the bounty hunter Calbus.
History[]
The Goldenheart Cannon was originally a prototype weapon on Nynrah, one of many. It was considered too expensive to mass-produce, and so very few were made. One of these prototype cannons was stolen by a Dark Hunter during a mission on the island. Much later on, Calbus and the Kraawa Gang came in conflict with a few Dark Hunters because both groups were after the same target. The Kraawa Gang eliminated the Dark Hunters and the Goldenheart Cannon was looted by Calbus.
At some point the weapon became damaged in a firefight. It was repaired, apparently to a quality matching mint condition, by a craftsman from Xia.

Functionality[]
The Goldenheart Cannon had the capability to fire powerful blasts or beams of superheated plasma. The component that generated these plasma blasts was gold in color and spun at the core of the weapon's firing mechanism, thus the title "Goldenheart". Energy to run the weapon was generated by kinetic absorption. A small tank contraption was connected to the weapon itself by a wire; this pod-like contraption would be attached to the user's armor, and automatically generated power from kinetic energy when the user moved about. This meant that if the user was perfectly still, such as in stasis, the Goldenheart Cannon would gradually run out of power.
Characteristics[]
Sometimes the Goldenheart Cannon was mistaken for a modified Midak Skyblaster. This was because the Nynrah crafters used a similar blueprint for the outer frame of the weapon, although the function and internal components are extremely different from the Midak blasters.
When fired, the gun was known to have significant kickback, enough to completely knock out a Matoran who might try to fire it.
