Gitu was a Turaga of Ga-Karhi, part of the Turaga Council of Karhi Nui.
History[]
Early Life[]
Like most of the Turaga of Karhi Nui, Gitu's past remains mysterious. What is known, however, is that she originated as a Toa of Water from the island of Nynrah, who was the first successfully built Toa for the island. However, after figuring out about the experiments that the Nynrah Ghosts had been doing, Gitu destroyed loads of their research and was eventually banned from the island.
What happened between this incident and the formation of the Toa Cartrax remains foggy, however. She arrived on Cartrax for some unknown reason, but did become a member of the Toa Cartrax, protecting the Matoran of that island. She grew a fondness for one of the Toa, Komatri, who helped bring together the team in the first place.
After years of service to the Matoran of Cartrax, she gave up her powers to a Matoran named Viatra, who passed tests under Makuta Tagah's watchful eyes. Gitu thus became a Turaga.
Abilities and Traits[]
Gitu as a Turaga has limited access over the power of manipulating water and accessing her Kanohi Power. She possesses a noble Mask of Healing that is shaped like a Kaukau Nuva. However, this being the case, she can heal those who are critically injured. She also possesses a turaga staff.
Gitu happens to have more of a motherly heart nowadays than she had in the past, where she had a temperament. This temper still shows, but at the same time she is willing to care over sick and injured Matoran and Rahi.
