Gelik is a Toa of Lightning from Irania Nui. She was the lead guitarist in Rage Against the Makuta, and dated the Fe-Matoran Yezu while she herself was still a Vo-Matoran; after her transformation into a Toa of Lightning, her new duties made it difficult for her to sustain a relationship.
Biography[]
Matoran[]
As a Matoran, Gelik started a band with Yezu and Karael called Rage Against the Makuta. At some point she came into contact with a Kanohi Avato which imprisoned her mind in her own, petrified body. She was later freed by the combined efforts of Yezu and Epix, and the faulty Avato was destroyed.
She was summoned to a meeting with Turaga Lome, Ihu, Halok, and Karael, where she and Karael discovered they had been selected to become Toa. The reason why Gelik was selected remain a mystery, but she accepted her new responsibility with glee.
Toa[]
The next day, Gelik joined the Iarn Military in battling a Yellemoth outbreak in Ko-Iarn.
City in Turmoil[]
Gelik was responsible for the accidental death of Kreix, after deflecting a huge uprooted tree that he had thrown at her. The tree crushed him to death. However, Gelik was hailed as a hero for finally ending the threat of one of Vradok's greatest lieutenants.

Gelik is a very enthusiastic and hard-working Toa, taking her new responsibilities and duties very seriously, though not without adding her signature levity and charm to every one of her exploits. However, her relationship with Yezu was strained after she became a Toa, and the two of themmade the mutual decision to break up.
Mask and Tools[]
Gelik wears a Kanohi Pakari, the Great Mask of Strength, and carries a Lightning Scythe, that channels and amplifies her elemental powers.
Trivia[]
- Lome never revealed his intentions for transforming Gelik into a Toa. To this day, she does not know why she was selected out of all the Matoran in Irania Nui.
