The Fez is a rarely-seen type of headgear notable for being worn by Mahiki Manas during the events of Collision. Whether others wear it or not is unknown, though it is suggested that it is possible.
History[]
The origins of the fez are largely unknown. It is said to have been developed in ancient times by the Great Beings, though this is debatable. The fez was rarely seen, except rarely in the Matoran Universe and once in use by the mysterious Mahiki Manas. Otherwise, the fez remains largely unknown. Manufacturers refuse to sell the fez for unknown reasons.
Function[]
The fez is constructed of an unknown material resembling felt, and it sports a tassel at the top. Whether the fez serves an actual purpose except head protection and possibly warmth is unknown, since few beings have ever actually worn the headgear. However, wearers of the fez seem to, usually, attract instant attention amongst the vast majority of populations. This has prevented the fez from being used as an effective stealth headgear.
