The Brotherhood of Makuta was bassicly the same thing as the Empire of Makuta, the latter was just an evolution of the former.

The Empire assualted Capricarn, and started the Spherus War.
Military[]
Much of the military of the Empire of Makuta is made up of members of the Makuta species, Skakdi, Rahkshi, and other machinations created by the Makuta.
Some others also enlisted, and wherent forced into due to being one of the stated species.
Many former soldiers of the League of Six Kingdoms where also recruited.
War Vehicles[]
The Empire used a number of vehicles, built learning lessons from Karda Nui and other battles.
Many of them where air based due to the lack of defense against such vehicles.
