Due to the experiments of the Great Beings, this individual is a literal embodiment of his respective element. Not only can he manipulate heat and flame, but he can also possess any source of fire on the planet. However, if the essence he occupies is extinguished or destroyed before he can make another transfer, his mind will be destroyed with it. As an avatar of Fire, he can manipulate his current body to varying degrees, as well as propel himself through the air.
Mask and Tools[]
As a native of Spherus Magna, his original physiology would not have been compatible with Kanohi Masks. His current form is just as likely incapable of linking with them (and would surely destroy them if he made such an attempt). A suit of armor was designed to house and contain whatever Elemental essence he occupied, allowing him to safely interact with the world around him. Considering his Element of choice, it is also possible that it is resistant to extreme temperatures.
He also carries an unknown set of tools, which he could use to channel his powers.

- Like the other Element Lords, he would have appeared in canceled fifth BIONICLE movie for Generation 1 (and in turn gain their own sets). Tuma would've attempted to forge an alliance with them by granting them access to the Maze, using an unnamed Skrall to carry out his leader's commands. He and the Element Lord of Ice would been part of a race to the heart of the Great Volcano against Mata Nui, Ackar, and Kiina. The two Element Lords would have died at the end when the trio reached it and launched themselves onto the moon of Bota Magna.
