Elcha was a Toa of Fire and leader of his own Toa Team. It is unknown where he originally lived but he is now the leader (and Turaga) of Ta-Wahi in Rode Nui.

Biography

Life as a Toa

Elcha was the leader of the Toa Lynaka , he and 8 other Toa protected the island of Rode Nui from Rahi and Dark Hunters. Elcha was the energetic and controlling Toa, the complete opposite of Maenru, Toa of Ice. He was known to lash out at his team members however he does apologize afterwards.

Elcha and his team traveled to the southern island of Aparu where they were ambushed by Dark Hunters and Rahi known as Critalam, Gelira, Toa of Water, was badly injured and Elcha decided to order his team to retreat. Once they arrived at Rode Nui they saw Borhok swarms consuming parts of Ba-Rode (which explains it now being a barren wasteland). They fought and vanquished the Bohrok and imprisoned the rest in Cryo Chambers in the Archives of Onrel thus fulfilling their destiny of defending Rode Nui. They were later met by the future Toa protectors of Rode Nui, the Toa Hinaltu, and they gave up their powers to transform them into the Toa they were destined to become.

Life as a Turaga

After becoming a Turaga, Elcha was then given the opportunity to become the Turaga of Ta-Koro and rule over the region. He was at first a peaceful ruler however in his later years as Turaga he started to oppress the Ta-Matoran and force them into 'slave labor'. He hired the Gorthayk, Jurkuchro, to be his personal body guard to protect him from any possible assassinations by the Ta-Matoran.
