Ekimu was a famed Mask Maker from Okoto and the brother of Trazark.

History[]
Ekimu was created by Mata Nui during the early years of the Matoran Universe.
Ekimu worked his whole life as a Mask Maker on the island of Okoto and created various Kanohi Masks for the Okotans alongside his brother, Trazark.
The masks Ekimu crafted gradually became more favored compared to his brother's. Out of anger and resentment of his brother's success, Trazark crafted a mask in secret that combined six elements into one, violating a sacred law that the two had initially agreed upon.
In addition to crafting masks, the pair were among the island's main line of defense, and took charge in a battle against the fearsome Undead Raiders.
One day, Ekimu discovered Trazark with his newest creation, the Kanohi Mutunga. Suspicious of his intentions, Ekimu demanded he hand over the mask, but Trazark, knowing the jig was up, refused, and put the mask on his face, which resulted in the former Mask Maker growing to an enormous Titan form. A battle immediately ensued in the forge, Trazark's jealousy and hatred of his brother finally becoming known to the former as they fought. Despite his best efforts to knock the Mutunga off his brother's face, Trazark grabbed Ekimu with his enlarged hand and slammed him hard against the walls of the forge, killing him instantly.
Unbeknownst to Trazark however, Ekimu was able to be revived aboard the Red Star, but has yet to return home.
Abilities and Traits[]
Ekimu was considered by many individuals, even the Okotans, as being wise and strong. He was a skilled Mask Maker, so much that his masks were favored by the island's inhabitants more than his brother's. He also had the ability to use Clairvoyance to foresee visions of the future.
